Looking for decent PTP or something..

Not sure if this maybe belongs in the "General Program Discussion" section, so feel free to move me ;)

Anywho! I'm still pretty new to all this PTstuff, and just recently I entered a contest via one of my PTRs. Didn't expect to actually win, but so was the case. A part of the prize was some free banner rotations and also some PTP page views. Now these are aspects I've never delved into before, so my hope is that some kind souls here might enlighten me some more. For now I just gave away the prize, because I honestly didn't know what to do with it. Now I'm considering an upgraded membership, and with that comes some monthly PTP views etc. It seems to me that $.6 for 1000 visits is the going rate on these things, but there are tooons of 'em. So which are good? Any other creative ideas for using PTP views/banner impressions I should know of? Thanks in advance :)

I apologize if I'm misunderstanding, but it kind of sounds like you're not clear on what a PTP view is (don't feel bad, I wouldn't know what to do with one either):

Anyway, since you won this in a contest, it's obvious that the site where you won it has a PTP. So page views would be your ad for a website on that page that would be entered into the rotation to be displayed when others click on someone's advertised link somewhere. All sites with PTPs have rules as to which types of sites can/cannot be entered into the rotation, so you'll really need to check those first and then pick something you want to be advertised on that page that meets their rules.
