When you just about reach the minimun payout of $10 guess what ( up it goes to $20 )now after many many months of reading their emails , i have just said good buy.
I would not have known that they raised the Payout only i seen it in another Forum

I have been a member for 2+ years now and have made $8.83. I think this was a bad move on their part. It will take me another 2 years to reach $20. I have sent them an email, and will post the reply. If they dont lower it back to $10 i'm going to close my account.

I'm also a little bummed about this program (BTW, if you logged in, it said right there that they were raising the minimum), but I've already gotten paid twice by them ($10 each time) so I'm going to stick it out. I like them and have had nothing but a good experience with them-- just wish they sent out more email!

I've been a member of this program since March and received total fo 22 emails. That is not even 1 email/week. All my referrals got total of 6 emails. The last time I checked I had a little over $1 in my account. I will wait another 1-2 month. If they don't get any better I'm going to close my account. It's not worth time and energy to promote this program. I can't wait 10 years to get paid.

That's it. Just cancelled my membership. Hope more people will quit this program, because it's a JOKE.

Thanx

Oh but Keith, you spent 2+ years to earn the $8.83. It's a pity you quit, you could have used the FIRST payout from them as a retirement benefit hehe.....

OK, me too - I'm out. Now, where's the picket line? Are we gonna sit by and do nothing; or, are we gonna add 'em to the BOYCOTT LIST and send a message??

Why not send a mail to the webmaster regarding this matter and see what he says first???

Keith

I have sent them an email before saying that they would lose alot of members, didnt get a reply. Do you really think they should be added to the list because they raised the minium to $20?

"Do you really think they should be added to the list because they raised the minium to $20?"

YES.

When many programs are lowering minimum payouts Inbox Dollars raised it.
Keith, it took you over 2 years to make $8.83. And I'm guessing you have +1000 referrals. For the average guy like me, with 8-15 referrals will take 20 years before I can cash out.

They know what they are doing. They will never pay anybody because no one will stay with them for that long. And who knows, they may raise min. payout again.

Thanks

NO! I do not think they should be added to the list. They have paid me twice for $10 each (and I only have about 15 referrals) and I trust they will pay me again. See if they respond to the email you sent. I still trust that I will get paid again, even if it takes a while to earn the money.

BTW, you can earn extra points through their metarewards portal, and you might want to try changing the interests you have selected. I get an email every 2-3 days, sometimes more.

Well, too late. I'm not a member any more.

I do not think it is fair to add them to the boycott list yet.

They've now lowered the payout to $15, if you use PayPal for your payments.

I don't think they're dishonest, I just think the program may be a waste of time for a lot of people. I wouldn't necessarily add them to a list full of real cheats and scammers, but perhaps this thread will let people know they may not want to bother with this program.

I signed up to be a gold member a long time ago, and that hasn't done well for me. I have had between 12-17 affiliates for the past year, and while I've made myself over $6, the affiliates have only made me $2. I think the affiliates give up on the program and go away.

What really bugs me is there's no way to check my downline - I have to take their word for how many affiliates I have, and whether those people are actively clicking or not (obviously not, or I'd have made more).

They wont be added to the boycott list for raising the payment limit to $15, even though i dont like that idea. I was a member for 2 years and made like $8.--. Well i dont have an account with them, it would take me another year to get to $15.

Yes Keith they are not bad enough to add to boycott list ,but lets tell as many as possible that if they join their work will all be in vain. Like i said in my initial letter ( BE WARNED )
Jion programs that send regular emails and answer problems if you have any ,dont waste time with skeemers---- get out now

I had over 7.00 made with them, and one day recently I went to go LOG In and they said I didnt Exsist........Hmmmmmmmm, and I hardly ever get any emails from these people, YES I AGREE THEY ARE A RIP and People should cancel their Accounts.

These people and other's, RIPP you off, especially when you are about to get Paid Out, and BAM there goes your Account and Referrals, and Your MONEY.

I am leaving them and I have been with them for about 2 yrs myself.

They are a RIPP and alot of people needs to QUIT, to show them that they can't keep ripping Honest Readers OFF.

I just recieved an email from them this morning. I get emails fairly regularly, though not as frequently as with other programs. I've already gotten paid twice and fully well believe I will get paid again. Yes, it's slow so not everyone may think it's worth their time, but I trust them and have never had problems with them.

So glad you still have so much belief, you stay with them, but Hundreds will quit and they will be like MOST PTR's they will go out of BIZ and you wont get any Money due you.

All is to their Own Opinion, and if you decide to stay then stay, but alot of people has been burned by them and done quite unfairly, by them.

Well, I just signed up yesterday and received the $5.00 right away in my account. I have already received 2 emails to read yesterday and 2 more have already come in this morning. I am definitely giving this a try. You don't have to purchase things in order to earn more money, some of the stuff is free. It only takes but a second to read an email, so what;s the harm? Even if it's 5 cents, that's 5 cents. It will add up. Plus they give you cash back in your account for purchasing things online at stores you might already shop at like Petsmart and such....Sounds like a good deal to me.

Wow, this is a 2-year-old thread!

Anyway, I've been paid by IBD, even though the payout is now $30 and they take a $3 check processing fee. I've had one referral reach payout, because I got the $5 bonus for it. And they always credit your sign-ups. And they're easy to discuss problems with, should you have any (I had an address mix-up and they were very helpful and willing to work with me).

Yeah, it's a slow earner unless you sign up for stuff (much of which is free, and a lot of the paid stuff is still cool). But it's so easy - no timers, and the ads are more interesting than the usual "please sign up for yet another ptr".

:baaa: I like InboxDollars. The only thing I'm kinda perterbed about is the Gold Membership.... I think I wasted $17 out of my acct for nothing.

I have been a member of Inbox for a few months and I have so far earned $10.63. I get a few emails every day from them. I haven't reached $30 dollars yet so I don't know how the pay off is going to work out yet but so far so good.

I posted this thread in July 2002and i have been paid by many other good PTR companys since then. I wish you all the best princess and if you are happy about them so be it . I also started out the same way OK,so why dont you let me know when you finaly get paid that would be good.In the mean time i will not hold my breath waiting or i will have passed away waiting for your end result ,this i am sure of .So with that said ,as long as you are happy thats all that matters but remember my words of 2002 (BE WARNED)

As a matter of fact, I just received $27 from them. ($30 minus the $3 check processing fee). I got $5 for each my referrals that had reached the payout. And I signed up for a few offers, one of them I got a free digital camera.

Prinzess1515
30th August 2004, 17:10
What did you have to do to get the camera?

It's was a 2 free month trial of a shopping savings program. While, it probably won't be a great program, but I can always quit after the 2 months are up.

I've had nothing but good from this program. However, there are several people who claim they've never been paid by them (at GPF, mostly). So I stopped promoting them, partly because maybe my being a gold member has made a difference on how I'm treated (?). Hard to judge. But MY experience has been good. <shrug>

Well Inbox Dollars is not a paid to read email site. It's a paid to join things site. They just basically advertise things to join via a paid email every day or two. You'll only make pennies for the emails, but it doesn't take too many joins, depending on what you join anyway, to get to that $30 point. A few of the free trials are worth $20 to join.
