Does anyone know if this site pays? I have over 300 in it so far, and now I'm starting to hear bad things..
I was believing that they did pay because it says payouts so far: 24,500.. but then I realized that they could have just said that as the # of requested payouts. So can anyone CONFIRM that they do not pay, or hopefully that they do? I know it sounds very unlikely that they do, but can someone confirm it, someone that hasnt gotten paid?

Unfortunately, I don't think so. I did a Sustainability Review (http://www.gptboycott.com/forum/showpost.php?p=30454&postcount=1) on them and it's not a pretty picture. Read for yourself and see what you think.

Mire: I don't know of any site that will truly pay you a large amount of money to click an email ad......They will tell you they'll pay you and they'll go on and on about how much you can "earn".....but "earning" and "getting paid" are two very different things!
If you really believe that clicking an email link is worth a lot of money and that lower-valued ads are a "waste of time" then I think PTR probably is not for you because it is the lower payout sites with their lower valued links that are the most consistent payers.
I don't know about you, but I don't think it's a waste of time to click on 1/2 cent ads when the end result is a paycheck.
I tend to think clicking on 10 cent ads endlessly, and never ever getting paid for doing it is the true time waster....But that's just me. If you want to stay in those ridiculous junk programs in hopes of getting rich quick, then that's up to you - but seriously mire, PTR was never designed to make you rich and it cannot support high-value links/payouts. It's just not possible.
The choice is yours though.

If you have been getting paid any amount of money with regularity for 1-1/2 yrs, then you've got no reason to be frustrated at all! You're doing very well!
PTR was never designed to make anybody rich and the sites that can be counted on to pay you are the ones that have low payouts. If you're looking for the big bucks, you need to look somewhere other than PTR because to put it bluntly, clicking email links is not rocket science and it's not worth very much money.
Stay away from those programs with the ridiculous payouts of several hundred/thousand dollars -- they are not designed to pay you or anyone else and you're just wasting your time.
Stick with those $2 and $3 payouts -- they add up and they are a whole lot better than having an impressive-looking "Total Earnings" page on a website that is in reality completely worthless.
And if those small payouts truly do frustrate you -- then I very seriously would advise you to stop doing PTR because it sounds like your expectations just might be totally unrealistic.

O.k I have been a member of 500cents-500dollars.net and earned 469.00 as of yesterday. Before i was receiving 4-7 emails daily and now today nothing...nada...zilch! So being a person who believes in honesty and doesn't care if i break their wallets, i would like any suggestions as to actions to take. If anyone wants to take a group action, IM FOR IT. I have sent them an email asking about autosurf just to see if i get a reply, so we will see.
Any comments or suggestions?

i reached about $470 and it seem to slow down too but i have now started recieving emails agail and have about 10 mins ago requested a payout so we will see what happens in the next 30 days wont we.
as for $500-cents-500dollars . COM - still no reply to the fact that they lost half of my earnings (they did send an admin email saying that they had to restart using info from a backed up file which really is a cop out for loosing peoples credit. my brother recently signed up and because of this back up file when he went to start back he wasnt even registered so he has totally lost all his credit and has to start from scratch.

Hello. First time poster, week-long reader, but I thought you all would be interested in an e-mail I received from our dear 500cents-500dollars.com web master:
SUBJECT: Admin Email - You can be the WM of this site
Because we got many emails from people that they want to buy our site, we give all of you a chance to do so.
We may sell the site to any of our members :)
All you have to do is to send email with your maximum bid
(this is a silent auction, you can't see other people bids)
IF YOU WIN YOU AGREE TO PAY WITHIN 7 DAYS BY E-GOLD.
Please send your bids to auction (@) 500cents-500dollars (.) com
Auction will remain for 3 days!
Note: we may not sell it if offers are too low.
He's trying to sell the site! Show of hands...who saw this coming? I feel sorry for the poor slob that actually buys the site and all the unpaid pay-outs that come with it!
I knew when I joined their site that it was too good to be true, but I thought what would it hurt...just a waste of time...a lot of time. Lesson learned, but I stayed with it to watch what would happen. Tonight I will request my second payout...haven't received the first yet...and it will be $1000 this guy owes me. Although it hasn't been 30 days since I requested the first payment, I'm not going to hold my breath.
I'll stay on and be your guy on the inside.
This forum is great! I've learned a lot. Thanks to you all.

The current terms at 500cents-500dollars.com (http://500cents-500dollars.com/pages/terms.php) do not show this. They say they pay by e-gold. What is the exact URL of the page that you saw this? I've seen the paid-by-ads sites before that hooked me BEFORE I read the terms.
But you are right in needing to read the terms of agreement before joining up.

Yesterday, actually, last night, the terms were exactly as I quoted from 500cents-500dollars.com. I copied and pasted them. Sorta makes me feel crazy.....but I read them over several times last night. I went back to the site several times and copied them for another forum also. Other people (from the other forum) also went to the site and read them last night. What happened? I don't know??? I still don't think they will pay anyone anything at all.

500cents-500dollars is NOT legit. Both the .com and the .net are run by the same person. The .com one pays by e-gold only. I emailed e-gold about them and this is what they said:
We cannot disclose any information about this account holder without a court
order or subpoena. However, I STRONGLY advise you NOT to enter into any
transactions with this individual. You should also be aware that the account
has been value limited to prevent anyone from spending e-gold into it. Even
if the individual opens another account you should NOT spend into that
account.
Thank you,
e-gold Service

Question: I don't know if you can help me, but I am trying to find out if a
Paid To Click company is real about their payouts. The company is
500cents-500dollars.com and they use E-gold to do the payouts. I have
received 5 cents from them, but what I want to know is if they have ever
paid out the $500?

The wording of this section of their Terms is very interesting....it jumped right out at me because it says exactly the same thing as the Terms for one of the biggest rip-off sites in PTR history said up until recently -- namely earnings2all.
Things that definitely make you go hmmmmmmmm.
