Well, I own RD, so yes! We're reliable but it will take you a while to reach payout. There are other reliable programs I can recommend but it might take a while to get paid. That's why I didn't address that issue.
Hotmail could be your problem. Many free webmail sites have SPAM blockers and PTR's seem to get caught in those filters -- including hotmails, I think. I don't have a recommendation for a free webmail account. Maybe someone else can.

well ok so hotmail is my problem.. anyone else have a suggestion for a free email account provider?
And what does PTR or PTC means?
Thanks again! :alien:

PTR = Paid to Read
PTC/P2C = Paid to Click
PTS = Paid to Surf
TE = Traffic Exchange

PBear, I've had good luck in the past with Mail.com (http://www.mail.com). You MUST adjust your settings immediately or they will bounce spam, but once you do, I've never had trouble with them bouncing mail or being unreliable. They're free, or you can pay to get more storage.
I am currently using a domain I own for my email, and have done so for two years. I pay $25/YEAR for this domain (cheap!) and use it mainly just so I have a reliable, fast, ad-free email address. This is cheaper than paying for an email account, and it's worked wonderfully for me. The company I've used is DotEasy (http://doteasy.com/), and to my knowledge they are the best ad-free cheap domain host out there.
I'm allowed to post that, right? :) I mean, yeah, I'm promoting DotEasy, but only because he asked for recommendations on email, and it's been my favorite solution in 6 years of doing PTRs.

I recommend fastmail.fm -- they're free, you get plenty of space, and I've never had a bit of trouble with any of my PTR emails bouncing. Also, you can choose from a lot of different domains for your addy (mine is yepmail.net). You can find them at http://www.fastmail.fm
As far as recommending programs, you can't go wrong with Misty and Sam's, Hillbilly-Hangout and Grandma Mel's. IMO these 3 programs are the absolute best and I think they represent everything that PTR should be.

Referral links aren't allowed in the message body of your posts (with the exception being the referral threads). If pbeaR wants your referral link, then that can be sent through pm. I edited your post to remove the referral link.

Hello and welcome. :)
My suggestion for a free email provider is yahoo, mainly because of the increased storage limit (100mb). I'm sure the other suggestions in this thread are good, too.
As for the PTR programs, I think a good place to start is http://www.beenpaid.com/award/listall.php - especially those sites with a Platinum Seal. The sites are proven to pay and those with a Platinum Seal have been online at least 1 year.
Also, the sites that lil' recommended (Misty and Sam's, Hillbilly-Hangout and Grandma Mel's) - I'm not a member, but I did advertise at the first two. The webmaster of Hillbilly impressed me with her speed in setting things up and the prompt reply I received when I had a problem. :)

$25 per year sounds awfully expensive to me, actually.
GoDaddy, Oriweb, Enom and others offer .com domains for around $10-15 per year...

Ah.. I didn't see the free hosting part. That's pretty good actually, and something I'd probably consider.

I have a site hosted on doteasy and if I remember correctly, you have to pay extra for Perl, Cgi, MySql, etc.

The $25/year includes hosting AND registration of the domain. If you register multiple domains, it can go as low as $18.25 or something close to that for the whole package. Of course, they offer more expensive hosting, but I'm not creating high-traffic sites, so it's of no interest.
Sorry, Alora - thanks for editing.

By "receive cash" do you mean be paid by check/money order rather than Paypal or egold?
If so, all you do is check the appropriate payment method and for account info, type in your full name so that the check/m.o. can be made out correctly.

That's true - so if you need those things they may not be your best choice. I didn't, so it works for me.

Hi
There are a lot of PTR programs but the problem with most is that you dont get to see the mullah for quite some time. So i now rather prefer the programs which have a no minimum payout rate like cash4action and netreward. From these programs I have already cashed out through paypal and thus trust them. :)

No minimum: QuickRewards.net. All earnings are on-site (no emails) - earn for daily clicks, daily trivia, shopping, and lots of earnings by signing up with a spam email address for newsletters/contests. Also a Metareward portal so you can earn HUGE rewards (like $20 a pop) for doing free trials using a credit card, then cancelling. PAYS THE SAME DAY REQUESTED TO PAYPAL! Great WM - very helpful and friendly.
No minimum: SendMeCash.net. Pays automatically each month. Not a huge earner - important to remember to log in daily to do the PTCs (they're half or more of your potential earnings!). Maybe $1 a month if you're vigilant about the PTCs.
Monthly payout (when requested) with 1c minimum:
CashForAction
NetsReward
DollarForAction
You request it between the 1st and 5th of the month, and it's always paid to PP within 10 days. They have points, too, but they convert to cash the next month. Without referrals, I make maybe $1 a month. Kinda slow but steady.
$5 payout: EmailsForAds. Takes a while to earn it, but she always pays and pays fast (the longest wait I had was maybe a week?). She's a great WM, too -- very nice and responsive to emails.
HTH,
Becky
pbeaR, personally I would avoid PTR sites, I think in general they are a waste of time. My favorite program is http://www.studiotraffic.com, they are an autosurf program that actually pays and has the best admin staff I have ever seen of any program. So instead of clicking and reading all day for months on end just to earn a few pennies, check out studiotraffic. Check out the FAQ page, it tells you how it all works. If you still have questions, just ask, I am familiar with the program.
I use Yahoo for my e-mail, that is what I would recommend.
Thanks,
Jim

I think Gainmail (http://www.gainmail.com/pages/index.php) is a good GPTR program. I'm with them and I've earned $1.12 in just three days. Their minimum payout is $3 so I'll probably get my first payout next week!

I don't agree with you. HostNDezign (http://www.hostndezign.com) and Netrillium (http://www.netrillium.com) are the best hosting companies. Netrillium is very popular and very reliable, but a bit more expensive. I've been with HostNDezign for almost a year now and they've never been down, helped me when I needed them and they have fast servers. I definitely recommend both of them. For the domain incl. hosting I paid $7 per year and they're great. ;)
