I am sooo frustrated right now!!!! I've been a member of many, many PTR programs... some are awesome, and I've also dealt with those that close when you reach payout. Now I'm in a situation with a program that is still running, still sending ads (taking people's money), but will not pay what I am owed, and will not respond to any of my emails. I paid them $15 the day the program opened, to become a founding gold member, entitiling me to reach payout at $25. They gladly accepted my money. Well, my payment has been requested over two months ago. They are completely avoiding me. What is the best way to handle this? I am thinking about reporting them to my state attorney general's office, because I know they handle these types of complaints. Should I also run paid ads letting people know to avoid this program? How have some of you gotten situations like this resolved? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

I haven't been doing this long enough to run into that problem yet, just doing a lot of reading here about various problems and how others are dealing with them.
I HAVE run in to a problem with redeeming for ads. While some like Hunters respond within minutes, I have had some that have not responded in 2 weeks. One never responded but did place the ads after about a week. So many variations within just the few I am a member of was a bit shocking. Especially considering that they ALL delete the amounts from your account IMMEDIATELY.
Keep us posted on what you do, and how the sites respond to it. We will be forever grateful! :)

Alicia - I can understand your frustration......but the first thing anyone needs to know before they can offer some genuine advice is what do this program's Terms say about payouts? Obviously 2 months is a long time, but it's not at all unusual for a PTR to give their payment range as something like "within 60-90 days" or even the dreaded "within 60-90 days or a reasonable time thereafter."
If the program you're waiting on is still within their stated Terms, there isn't much you can do at this point except keep waiting to see if they come through for you. You can't even begin to think in legal terms until they've gone well beyond what they promised.
