I was a member of the "Click2Read.com" site until tonight, as I discovered what has appeared to be "the norm," in that my earnings had vanished, unbeknownst to me:\
My accrued balance was $9.16 and 02/100ths, with 31 points, as of the last e-mail - "PTR" message which was sent, and completed.
No further "PTR's" had been sent, until today, whereby I completed them (3 were sent); such would equate a .75 cents credit.
I went to the "Earnings" link afterward, and to my horror (though I shouldn't have been surprised), all prior monies/points had been deleted. The balance was as .75 cents, ONLY!!!
There was notice of a new WM's purchasing the site, and she'd e-mailed members to inquire what their opinions' were, regarding points which'd become money. The resolution was determined such was satisfactory, and I'd assume all were pleased. That was where it had remained as of last notice.
Deletion of money is not excusable, and seems to be a current trend. The WebMasters/Mistresses are free of the tongue, in making certain there's no cheaters, and of accusing members of such, yet they avoid the issue, and don't feel obligated to discuss a remedy when the members' monies have been deleted, unjustly or otherwise.
I'm a fair person, and believe there's a possibility of computer errors; However, the member has to go through THE ACT OF CONGRESS to be credited their losses, if given an option!!
As a majority of rule (99.9%), the WM declines response.
There's been a string of sites I've cancelled of my choice, due to the aforementioned's occuring, a few being:
**April'sGold **Tasia'sPaid **Jay'sPaid, and currently
**Click2Read
Additionally, the WM of "EazyPaid.com" decided to vanish in the night, with no fair warning-notice,whereby members' earnings were assumed as forgotten. She since has decided to open another couple of sites, to my understanding,so I'll make certain not to participate in those, once I'm aware of which ones they are (what comes to mind is a business owner's filing bankruptsy and changing the company's name; the creditors aren't paid in the end;however, the owner remains in business, begining again-wiping the slate clean).
In closing, I'd state the above mentioned site(s) are shaky, to say the least !!!
Sincerely,
An Honest, disgusted, disappointed previous member of what was assumed to be legitimate opportunities
