I know a lot of ptr's have switched to this hosting but it is really starting to bug me to no end.

I am on cable and I got on cable so I would not have to wait long for sites to load...

Then I click on these paid links with PTR's that are hosted with MyEcom and have to wait.

Now this doesn't happen all the time but it does happen often enough that I get extremely irritated.

I don't mind the timers but when I have to sit there and stare at the site for 30-40 seconds, again on cable, while waiting for the timer to even load. Then on top of that I have to sit there another 10-30 seconds for the timer to finish I just get really really annoyed.

Also I find myself waiting 30 seconds sometimes to a minute often for the site to load so I can check on my stats.

This is really too long and too much. Does anyone else notice slow load times or is it just slow when I am trying to get my reading done?

I agree with Heidi; I'm on cable broadband Internet here... and the MyECom sites take WAY too long to load :(

Actually I find it worse than that, sometimes up to five inutes waiting, it's absolutely ridiculous and I just shut the window down.

It's a shame :(

Well glad to know it isn't just me. Maybe dial up users dont' really notice because sites normally take longer to load?

I am not so accustomed to cable that I have forgotten what it is like to be on dial up. In fact I have still kept my dial up connection so as not to lose my email address. They had a cheap plan on limited hours so I took that. :)

Maybe I should see if being on dial up really makes a difference next time I am having problems with the sites on the cable connection...

It would be an interesting expirement...

MyEcom servers seem to be unable to cope at the moment as well as many of the MyEcom scripted programs having problems with data and email.

I must have deleted some 100 or so emails yesterday because the pages wouldn't load.

I pity the advertisers who are not getting results.

Maybe i'm just weird!?

Or could it be that i'm not a member of a program that is hosted on myecom!?? :stupid:

Isnt mec-co-op-paidmail and tombmailer hosted on myecom?

marc- they do usually load but takes forever

keith - the programs that have latest MEC scripts are mainly hosted on myecom - these are the ones with the "Thank you.....", then " Your account has been credited.." in small text rather than the bigger site specific text of the earlier MEC scripts
