The GPTBoycott 'Seal Of Approval' has been designed to let you know what programs are honest, paying, and worth joining. I joined: centsablemail, e-mailvalue, letterwealth, mec-co-op, PEFTGWN, penniesbyemail, rewardsdivine and the-owl-post...
other than mec-co-op, I'm lucky if I can get one cent a day. and if I did (got more than a cent a day), then they sends nothing in a week.
I think your "per-4-month review" policy must be reviewed :D I refer some people (from real life) to join PTRs that listed in the "GPTBoycott's Seal of Approval", and now they feel :stupid: ...
quite a burden :D

I am only a member of LetterWealth, T-O-P and PenniesByEmail (out of the programs you've mentioned), so will only comment on these.

They are older, established programs. I have no worries at all that they might vanish without a trace, lose my information in a database crash, sell the site without telling me, etc..
I will not be scammed by them.
I am comforted by the fact that I know when I request payment, I will be paid.
I know that when I have a question, I will receive a prompt reply. I know when I want to advertise, my ad will be sent promptly.

Review the Seal Of Approval? These programs still have my vote! :)

And btw, after reading your post, I went to the PBE inbox on the site. 36 emails in 15 days. I randomly selected 6 of those emails - each one had a 1 cent link and at least 1 pt link (1/2 cent when converted to cash).
Then there's the PTC section...
So why are you "lucky" to receive 1 cent per day?

ic...

well, poor me, lol... maybe, because I'm not allowed to click the search option? (I'm from unallowed country), or maybe because I'm not their priority when they sends emails? They can't always sent all paid emails to all their members right?

I swear, it's rarely that I can get more than one cent a day, I check my inbox daily, I put all emails from PTR to some folder in outlook express, just checked, there's one email from centsablemail (point email) and 3 emails from mec-co-op (none have paid links, only ad sales and some announcement)... that's all from the seal of approval's ptr today... luckily I still can use the autosurf in mec-co-op...

I don't go to ptc pages so often, but when I did, there's (usually) only one or two banner with less than 0.25 cents each...

well nevermind, maybe they have their own policy and I respect that... and I admit that I don't go to PTC pages very often... if most people still think that they deserves the seal of approval then be it, at least now I have something to tell to my friends :D

Hya,

I would still vote for all those programmes as well.

About pennies, they don't say you can't search if you're not from the right country, at least, have never seen that, they send me 1-2 mails a day, mails sent to entire membership ... are you sure you receive all their mails, did ya check your inbox on site ?
If your ibox is empty, you might contact webmistress and ask for help, there is obviously soemthing wrong.

About the owlpost, Eva had said she would send most of the links in her monday newsletter but she even send more now.

Rewards Divine has my vote too, you don't receive mails every day but quite regularly and with the good paid2click section and the treasure hunt, there is a possiblity to earn quite well there too.

The other ones, I don't know, letterwealth am a member but is me not being very active uhoh and the others I am not a member.

Hope this helps ;)

Sophie, something you said needs addressing very badly.

A webmaster who sends out search mails to ALL members is doing a grave injustice to their advertiser.

Members will click for the money, and even if they do a search it won't count. If the advertiser gets too many invalid searches, they can loose their accounts with the search engines as they are very fussy and it takes a lot of bookkeeping to figure out the invalid searches and deduct from the amount of $ earned etc.

They don't like it and would just delete the accounts.

Also even if that didn't happen, and let's say a member paid for 500 clicks, those 500 clicks could come from 500 members not allowed to search and the money spent on advertising is a total loss.

Do you think the advertiser is going to come back for more?
I doubt it.

That's why i do what i do, and the way i do it.
It's for the advertiser's protection whether they realize it or not.
I have multiple members purchasing 7 day ad packages on a weekly basis, and the reason they keep running them is because i send only to members interested in doing searches, and members in countries allowed to search.

Some engines only allow to us, ca, uk and i have a few ads sent only to those countries who's members have search checked as an interest.

others allow only us, ca, uk, nz and austrailia, and i send them accordingly.

Then i send the rest to all search allowed countries, only to members interested in searching.

My advertisers get their money's worth and that's why they keep coming back. So when a webmaster sends out search mails to all members, not only are they wasting the advertisers time and money, they are hurting themself as they won't get the repeat business.

Carol, if you wouldn't have so many searches I'd surely join your program.

I, for one, hate searches. I don't care how much I get paid to search, I don't do them.

I don't click them either - out of respect for the advertiser.

I have nothing against them - to each his own.

But, Carol has the right idea. You're surpurb, Carol.

First of all, the only one's receiving searches are those who check search as an interest.
So if you don't want them, you don't get them.
So to say you didn't / won't join because of too many searches is a bit ludicrious to me.

Just doesn't make any sense.

But truth be told, i don't have much of anything else running.
Very little if any other than searches. So without them, i'd have to shut down and everyone looses, as nobody gets paid etc.
The searches are paying all of us right now, not just me. It allows me to keep ads flowing and members earning.

Please don't take "not joining" as an offense. It truly was not meant that way.

I have, in fact, directed some of my friends your way because they DO like searches.

I just wanted to tell you I admire your honesty and methods of how you direct your searches - and run your program.

I have a very limited downline myself ONLY because I will not refer any programs until I am paid or the program shows the potential for profit.

Tell you what, taxlady, if you had other programs without a lot of searches, I'd be the first to join - whether you like it or not :!:

LOL :D

Now why would i not like that????? hehe

Seriously no offense was taken, i was merely pointing out that only members who request search mails receive them.
Therefore if you hate searches, you'd never get them. So therefore to say "I don't join a program because they send too many searches just doesn't make any sense as you'd never see a search mail unless i make a mistake and forget to use the search template, which may happen once a month if i get distracted, but it's a rare occasion that would happen.

Your inbox wouldn't look any different from mec-co-op then if i sent no search mails at all.

I was just pointing that out.

It's a waste of time and advertisers money to send searches to people who don't like them and don't do them.

To be honest, i myself hated them until i realized that the ads can flow like honey using them, and i have many members that will not do searches anywhere else but do them at mec-co-op because unlike other sites, that send them out at 1/10th cent i send them at 1cent.
Advertisers didn't like it at first, but by targetting them only to members committed to search has kept the advertisers making a profit and coming back for more.

I send 20-30cents a day in search mails, and a search doesn't take long, they are timed at 30 seconds.

30 cents a day = $9 a month, with a $3 payout, many are cashing out 2-3 times a month.

I would love to see 50% of other type ads, but unfortunately the trend right now seems to be searches.
And since i'm affiliated with 12 of them and generating a nice profit off 6 of them, i regularly send at least 6 per day myself.
that ads up to quite a bit of pocket change out of pocket, but i'm profiting $1 to $2 a day per ad, and that's helped tremendously to keep payouts 100% up to date with money as reserve too.

I've even finally been able to take a few bucks for myself after 2 years......so Searches will continue at mec-co-op even if i do get named the "Search Queen" hehe...

Believe me, i took no offense, but was merely pointing out you'd never get a search mail if you didn't want them.

There's still the paid2click, auto-surfer which allows members to promote their other offers using the points they earn surfing etc..

There's plenty of other money makers like the paid2signup page available for members who don't like searches.

How about sending me your url through a pm. I want to check this out. Please?

You should have my response now.
you'll get faster response e-mailing support@mec-co-op-paidmail.com than sending pm's.
I check e-mails multiple times per day, while i don't always check the forums on a daily basis.

Good Luck!
Carole

Thanks. Your pm really helped me understand much more about searches.

I vow to never critisize another search (hope you know I have my fingers crossed behind my back like a sheepish child) :D :D
