I have just added avatars to the forum!

I believe that you are still free to use your own custom avatar once you have made 25 posts, but all users may take advantage of these ones!

45 avatars have, at present, been added.

Are we unable to support larger avs? I've been checking the net and am having a difficult time locating any that are small enough to be used here.

You can always resize them to 65x65, any good paint program will do. I use PSP 8, and use bicubic resampling as the resize option, the keeps them from going blocky.

On some forums, the Custom Avatars... like the ones posted here have no size restriction. It is up to the forum owners to decide the max size. They are the only ones with the ability to add custom avs anyway, so it works out quite well.

I'm actually going to change the max avatar size to 100 x 100 now... which should make things a little easier.

What an excellent resource for site owners... and WOW, there are some great ones.

If you have any specific requests for which avatars I should upload, let me know, but I'll make a start very soon on uploading this collection, but it might take me a while ;)

Why not let the members make their own selections from Cad's site? Then, they can link through their options ..... like I did, LOL.

If that doesn't work, the members can use the link above and PM me if they can't get it loaded. I don't think we should allow any displaying nudity, in whole or part, if there are any .... I really haven't checked them all.

Cad's site is very impressive. I wish I had the patience to figure out programming. LOL Just lazy, I guess.
heehee... Of course, people like Cad make it too easy for lazy-butts like me.

I had NO clue there were so many different sites out there with avatars you can "adopt".....Cad's is great, without a doubt, but I ended up switching to this newest one that I found on another site (whose name escapes me at the moment) because it looks a lot like me. If you just put either "avatars" or "forum avatars" in a search engine, you'll be overwhelmed at how many great ones there are out there....all just waiting for a good home. :)
