Hi Everybody!!
This is not about a paid to read site per se but this company heavily advertises in gptr sites so I want to let you know and warn you about this.
I ordered screenblaze - which is a home page rotator - it works whenever you are online no matter what you're doing. For some reason it didn't work on my computer and the company was unable to help me. Just try to uninstall this software - it is almost impossible. It's causing a lot of problems for me - mainly I HAVE to shut down my computer completely when I'm not using it or it layers useless popups one on top of another - It can take a long time to delete them and exit the screensaver. I even deleted the folder in drive c and that didn't work!!!
Well on to the biggest problem: I received an advertisemant from Mike Chen the operator of screenblaze. He said he needed 250 beta testers for a new software he was promoting and that he would pay 250 dollars out of his pocket if you used said software and sent him an email of how you liked it. The email said that last time he did this a lot of people weren't serious so he would have to charge 15 dollars for the software which you get to keep after the study. I thought this sounded reasonable so I sent him the 15 dollars and downloaded the software. This software is just a bunch of audio advertisements for another program. Well I sent Mike Chen an email with my rating - which was pretty positive. A few hours later I received an email from Mike Chen saying that the way the program works is that I would be given a 250 dollar discount on a 900 dollar program - namely Mark Joyner's Farewell Package - not the 250 dollars his email promised. I think this is very misleading to say the least and is BLATANT FALSE ADVERTISING. I have beta tested for companies and Mike Chen is not beta testing - he is just selling a get rich quick scheme and scamming people into sending him 15 dollars. Beta testing is using software for a company, filling out a questionaire and getting paid cash as promised. Not getting a discount for a program you would have bought already if you had wanted it. Who has'nt heard of Mark Joyner's farewell package?? Mike Chen cannot say that what I have just said is not true because I have kept all the original email. I save everything that pertains to anything I buy on the internet. Beware Mike Chen and his company and don't fall for his scams. At least I only lost 15 dollars.
