Any Canadians who participate in Goodcheerclickin should be just as upset as I am that, seemingly for personal opinions, this program has decided to freeze our Canadian accounts, due to our lack of particiatation in the US/Iraq war. I think this is ridiculous, is it stereotyping all Canadians as having this opinion, and judging us all. We now might possibly have to forfeit the money we have rightfully earned, under the pretenses that our country was welcome in particiapating in this program. I believe if this was ever to be an issue, it should have been stated when any of this subject matter came to light MONTHS AGO. And if this is the step that is "appropriate", why not just ban our countries from your program? All you are doing is alienating your members, and creating animosity. Why would any self respecting person who is "frozen" for such a reason want to continue to participate in your program once you see fit to allow us to again? I certainly hope that any business minded, and fairminded (above all else), GPTR webmaster will not follow this lead. I urge all Canadian members who are in this program to delete themselves, and no longer support it. Who is anyone to question our personal opinions in order to participate in their program? Just as an employer cannot discrimiate in this way, he should not be able to either. I have removed myself from this program, and am personally offended, especially since I had really enjoyed this program. Sorry to offend anyone who likes this program, or agrees with him, but as he seems to have a right to his opinion, so do I.

Above is an email that I just recieved from the owner of Good Cheer Clickin. I guess Canadians have been reinstated if I read the email correct just because we buy paid ads. I am with you pandagurl1. I am going right now and deleting my account. I am not sure who started this stupid and I do mean STUPID boycott against us Canadians but it is truely ridiculous.

IMHO it isn't just Canadians that should be upset. This is not the way a proud and true American acts. This is some of the biggest bunch of BS I've seen in awhile. It looks bad on Americans, it looks bad on webmasters... it just looks bad. I'd personally love to see everyone quit the jerks program if this is his business point of view.


btw... if he's the only one sending paid ads just how the heck is he going to pay the few members it looks like he's gonna let slide??

Is good cheer the only program that has done this or are there more of them? And does anyone know what started all this in the first place? And yes heartless I agree that this makes everyone look very bad. I do predict that good cheer is not going to last very long after this .

I am in over 50 gptr, and pgtc programs, and as I stated in my email which I sent to Good Cheer Clickin telling him exactly what I thought of this, so far this is the only program to take such measures.

I am a US Citizen and a program owner, and this man has highly offended my sensibilities.

He makes the US look bad, and he makes other webmasters look bad.

I will NEVER condone such behavior, and rest assured, I will NEVER ban other countries.

I mention this because we webmasters are getting floods of mails from worried members wanting to know if the rest of us are going to ban their countries and forfeit their earnings and downlines.

Hi, I am a american and I do not belong to this program and after all I have read about it I will never be joining! I think the name of this topic should be changed becuase there are more then just canadians being hurt here, all the countries that he banned were hurt not to mention the fact that NOT ONE american that has read this has agreed with it! He is now saying it is a joke to get ad`s, what kind of sick joke is this? It is not just canadians that are offended I believe it is all countries becuase this is not how ``most ``americans think or believe. I would never ban a whole country for what a few believe. Whether you believe in the war or not that has nothing to do with the gptr buiseness.
I think this program should be boycotted , it is a insult to most people from ``every`` country, thank you for listening to my 2 cents :)

I posted the subject under Canada because I am Canadian, and I know our point of view, I can't speak for other countries. I don't agree that is it acceptable for ANY of the countries, but as a Canadian, I wanted to make sure other Canadians were expecially aware.

not a problem and yep no country should believe what he posted. He has gone to the other forum and appoligized repeatedly and I believe he realizes he messed up big time. I dotn understand his sayijg it was to get ad`s, just makes no senceto me.
