Star-clicks is 100% SCAM. Star-clicks they are a publisher for advertiser want to post their ads to their site to bring potential customer. They may not scam you but they are SCAMMING the advertiser. Advertiser pay them a good amount ppc, it can run up to $0.05 to $1.00+ per click and the share they giving is $0.01 per click. RIP OFF... Advertiser pay them to bring potential customer, someone can be interested in their products or services not randomly click on their ads and waste their money. What you are doing right now is supporting star-clicks to SCAMMING the advertiser? It’s illegal for what star-clicks is doing.

this comment is for all website promote getting pay for clicking ads

< edited > google have policy against PTC. read google policy before speak. article from ezine

What are PTCs?

These are a type of HYIPs "high yield investment programs" designed to lure people into making easy money through the internet, and they are all basically a SCAM.

They pay or give credit to people who would simply "click" the ads posted in their site.

The call to make money online, whether through scamming other people, gambling, or plain hard work will be the driving force of anyone.

But why PTC?
Simply because it is the easiest!!!
But the downfall is it is the one that posts the greatest risk.

People continue to take those risks. Why?

because they believe they will succeed
because they believe they know how to succeed
because they believe they are better than those other clickers
because it is fun as well (for those who have nothing better to do)

Search for more top article about PTC Scam. read them

Please leave out insults thanks

Paid to click is not necessarly a scam a scam would mean that they don't pay you what they say they are going to pay you. No site pays the member what the affilate pays them just the same as no affiliate pays what the advitiser pays them. With incentive type sites there's an advitiser who pays the affiliates who pays the site owner who pays the members. If the owner was paid $0.05 per click on a certain ad and paid the members the same amount they would not only not make any money to cover hosting, domain name, referral earnings, contests, etc they would actualy loose money. For example if the site offers 50% referral earnings (meaning you earn 50% of what your referrals make) and they are paying out the $0.05 per click which is what they are being paid plus the 50% referral earnings they would be paying out $0.075per click which would be more than they were earning from the affiliate or advitiser so the site would go in the hole fast which would mean there would be no money to pay the bills for the site.

Some ads the advitiser does pays a small amount for a member clicking on the ad because it could be a potential customer the person that clicked on it might see something they like and sign up and that is what they are paying for when they are paying per click. Other times the advitiser only pays if you do something on the ad like on gpt sites most of the offers you have to do certain things inorder to be paid for it like sign up for something.

I do agree that no you are not going to get rich off of doing strictly paid to click sites and if a site says that you will get rich off of it then yes it is probably going to turn out to be a scam. You can though make a couple extra dollars though from ptc sites.

I hope that helps you understand more of what a ptc sites is and how it works with how everyone is paid :) yes there are scams out there but there are also some great sites out there too.

Google is nonincentive which means you can not give anyone anything for clicking on their ads some affiliates have incentive clicks or offers which those you are allowed to give the person something in return for clicking or doing part of the offer.

Scam is a big word, not every site is a scam... there is plenty on sites what pay... just try and avoid the watch or the boycott list. :-)

One thing to remember is that if you are trying to sell something
you need people to see your site { hopefully buyers } , but at the least
it would be seen as traffic/visitors to your site .
.
If there is substantial traffic to your site , the search engines will take notice
and Alexa will see the traffic as well .
.
Now , if your site is set up well [ search engine friendly ] then your site will be listed closer to the top of the listings for a given search word or term .
.
In this service , PTC sites do a better job than Traffic exchanges , because
you will get buyers as the service is being performed..
