just a little vent here. add yours if you like. since i'm not out to try and ruin any PO's reps or programs, i wont be mentioning specifics. that being said, i've just about had it with this whole GPT/PTR/PTC business. I click my fingers to death, never cheat, and do the whole ptp thing trying to make a few bucks. I have very few referrals which makes it all the harder i'm sure, but i'm not here to complain about that.

IMHO, upgrading anywhere is truly a gamble. some sites make it so that if you DONT upgrade, you'll be lucky to cash out in 6 months - or you'll get so frustrated trying to reach it that you'll just use your earnings for redemption and they will never have to pay you! AND, if your lucky enough to reach payout WITHOUT upgrading, when you have FINALLY reached that "low" payout of $5 or $8, they come up with some excuse like my "grandmother died" etc... etc...or they come up with some other reason they can't afford to pay you. Or worse yet, you wait weeks and weeks after the request and start to wonder whats going on? Come to find out, it's one of the above reasons or the site is being sold, etc etc. That's it for now, i'm sure i'll have more to add later. And for the very few good running programs and PO's that PAY their members and give ample notice of big changes when the ship starts going down, and not running away with our money, I say THANK YOU! believe it or not, for someone like me those few dollars make a BIG difference. I am a person too, with a family to feed and I need the money i earned desperately. If i don't get paid, we will be eating pasta and pb and jelly until next months check.

The point is, you should have some kind of emergency funds available (in case of a crisis) to pay your members or you should not be a PO at all.

I agree.
I've been out of work for a while.Unemployment, while a godsend, barely covers rent.
GPT allows me to feed my 2 cats, put gas in my car, helps out with food, and lets me pay for my medications.
GPT, in the past year, has actually kept me afloat.

PO's who do this are actually taking advantage of ppl who need basics, for the most part. Not all of us are college kids who just want pizza money. (Actually, it kinda IS pizza money for me, but frozen store brand pizza instead of Donimos or PapaJohns).

I suspect most of us use the money for neccesities.

But don't worry, karma DOES work. I hope that you all remember that. Yes, DHC owner,I mean you.

I think the whole "upgrade" thing is kind of shady. If it's truly an optional upgrade with a few perks then I guess it's fine but the way so many sites put so much pressure on members to purchase upgrades is just inexcusable. If a site is not designed to be sustainable without relying on upgrade fees then it's essentially a pyramid scheme and it's only a matter of time before it goes under.

It's sad but I'm pretty much done with GPT / PTC sites, too. There's still a few reliable sites that I will stay a member of, but I'm not earning much money anymore. GPT offers rarely if ever approve and my referrals are all dead. It's a shame but that's the way it goes. I still earn a bit of money completing surveys on panel sites, but that's about it.

Good programs are good but can go wrong if used in wrong way and can be useless if you use it without its requirement or in the wrong way. So use good program only when needed and use in proper way only.

Good programs go wrong if used in wrong way or sometimes due to their own limitations.

I have not yet any bad experience in my life such that good programs became bad programs with in a split second.
