I am about half way through the generation of the Flash Voting design I was talking about in the other thread. I should have a product by tomorrow night, though it has been slow because I am rusty with Flash, and not used to the new version.

I need a little feedback regarding the voting. currently there are only a few topics. I need to know some other subjects, and questions you ask about a program in order to know if it is something you are interested in, and worth staying in.

- Customer Service
- Operating History
- Reliability Of Site/Software
- Payment History
- Fair Payment Rates

And feedback on this would be appreciated. I'm really hoping this will be helpful, though if not, it has been quite an experience. :) See you on the flip side.

Hi Kuy

I don't know how detailed the mods want it to be.

Referral Percentages
Referral Levels

I also look at this when I join a program.

Okay, sorry for the delay. Work life is driving me insane, and I've got so many other things going on. I know, excuses, excuses. The Flash is taking longer than I thought, but I decided to do some things I am not completely familiar with. Here is the following details.

I'm trying to get the Flash Voting to read from secured outside files. This will allow the program to check to see if the member of this board is logged in, and who they are. This was seen as nessessary so the voting is accurate. Note, the only people who will ever know who voted what will be the admin of this board.

Another reason for reading from outside files is because I am trying to make the process of voting on new programs as easy as possible without having to modify the Flash program itself. This will mean that the program will read the outside script, and get the name and the questions. The admin will easilly be able to change this script for whatever program needs to be voted on.

The script will basically tell the program which questions apply to the site seeking the seal. So, for example, if a program only offers advertisements, they will not lose points by being asked if the member has recieved a cash payout yet.

Lets say there are ten questions. And only questions 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 10 apply to the site being voted on. The admin will just have to go down through the script, and comment out the numbers to the questions that don't pertain to the program.

Just thought I would give everyone an update. Again, I am sorry I have been quiet. At work, out of the usual team of 10 people, we are down to three. I have been pulling a lot of extra weight. If you have emailed me within the past couple of days and I haven't responded, please resend the email and I will get back to you this weekend. I have a day off finally.

Hi Kuy

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I know you helped lexie as well so you have been a busy little beaver LOL.
I'm sure whatever you do will have been worth the wait.

I see word gets around rather quickly in these communities. I am hoping to finish up the scripts I have been working on, and the Flash for this forum by the end of this weekend. Maybe then my life will slow down a little bit. I've currently got quite a few sites I own that I am working on, which have taken a back burner for a little bit.

LOL Kuy

I know because lexie had it in her emails and she said what a nice person you were for helping her out.

Ah, yes, how could I forget that. Oh, and, I think it's amusing you keep using Kuy, rather than Kyu. Not sure if it's intentional haxor type speech, or if you just see it that way. I use Sythrel in some places, and for some reason, people always seem to think it's Synthrel.

Just because I have had a couple of people ask in private message, I'll answer it here. Kyu is short for Kyuketsuki, which is Japanese for "Vampire", or "Dark Spiritual One". It was a nickname given to me by an ex-lover.

OK. Now I'm really laughing!!!!
I'm so sorry...I only realized that because you pointed it out. Can be really annoying when people don't spell your name correctly. I'm having those "dislexic episodes" so I'll try and get it right from now on Kyu. ROFL

Hmm...won't ask you as to "why" your ex gave you that name.....

MMMMMMMM not to go completely off thread, but I'd love to know how KYU got that nickname. And are you available for parties? :D

Sorry I haven't been around for a bit. Work is really draining a lot out of me. We've got project after project, and half my crew has been out sick. Also, we just obtained a new office which needs a lot of work, and I am one of the few on our crew with the skills to do everything that needs to be done.

I've got most of the Flash for the voting worked out, though I still have a few more things to touch up. I am really sorry it is taking so long. Hate being so far behind in everything.

As for the name. Quite a few years back I was quite involved with a CircleMUD realm. After reaching a quite high level within the game a clan was created under my lead, and placed within the dark realm. The clan was made for Vampire characters. My first in command, a mage, was a female friend who I had played along side of for quite awhile. We got close, spending our time either playing the game together, or discussing it. One thing lead to another, etc...

Due to the game, and my personal views about life, mythology, religion, as well as many other aspects, she decided that the term kyuketsuki was not only fitting for the game, but other aspects as well.
