I don't know if this is a "boycottable" offense or not, but I thought I should give everyone fair warning...

I won a Reading4Cash gold membership auction about a month or 2 ago and one of the perks was supposed to be a paid email ad every 3 days, along with some referrals added immediately to the account and the usual free referrals for life.

It was like pulling teeth to get my account upgraded to gold, but the webmaster finally (after several days of stating that he would do it "today") took care of it. We went through the same thing for each and every email that I wanted to send. I did not get my ads sent out every 3 days because it usually took 2-3 days for him to get around to sending each ad (every day he would say that he was sending the ad today).

Finally, I got an email from the webmaster stating that I should begin sending the ads to the emailsforcash webmaster instead because he had sold the reading4cash site. Oddly enough, the webmaster email addresses and paypal/stormpay etc. accounts remain the same for both programs...

I upgraded my emailsforcash account to gold and went through the same hassels getting my referrals, getting my account upgraded and getting my ads sent out.

Finally, I received a PayPal refund from the guy with no explanation. I wrote the guy and received no response. So, I finally sent him one last email stating that he owed me an explanation and that if it was too much trouble to send out ads for his auction winners, then he should quit auctioning them off (yep, he's still doing the ebay auctions). I also stated that if he treated all the auction winners this way then he could certainly count on getting a lot of negative feedback!

Yes, you can transfer a PayPal e-mail address to someone else quite easily.

I know both owners (not very well, but enough to be able to speak openly to them about GPT issues) and have been paid by both, so if you have any specific questions, I could try to get them addressed by IM.

I would be interested in hearing what they have to say to you. BTW: They finally answered my email and now they are saying that the ads every 3 days was only supposed to last for 30 days. I saw nothing about a 30 day time limit in the auction details. Here is the link, which is still good:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3102491721&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOAB:US:6

He is also stating that giving me a refund was more than he was required to do and that once he sold the company (and it doesn't appear that he has really sold it) he no longer had any obligation to continue sending out my ads. This was after he sent me an email stating that he would send them out through EmailsForCash....

He has sold the site for sure - I know both owners :)

I agree with you on the 30 day caluse - it should have been specified.

When I pointed out that there was nothing stated in the auction details regarding a 30 day time limit, and reminded him that he said he would continue sending my ads vi EmailsForCash, he never bothered to answer that email...

After being treated like that, I am not inclined to promote either program. However, I am rather inclined to leave feedback on Ebay regarding this issue. This guy didn't keep his word.
