I try to read these threads to learn I wan to avoid the programs that waste our effort and time with no return. I would like to learn from others experiences and judge on the facts.
I am somewhat dismayed to see people discussing who is sleeping with who and making personal attacks on others on issus that have no relation to the getpaid to forum.
am i wrong and alone in this idea?

"Crazy..", no I don't think you're alone in your thoughts! I too, am looking for GOOD advice, and truths. When I went to read the thread about what programs should be banned I was appalled. I fully understand that some people have nothing better to do than stir dead coals, but why here? I wasn't looking for that kind of hatred! I don't quite understand why the mods let that go on (in front of God & everybody) for as long as they did. When my children acted like that I used to send them to their rooms until they learned the value of friendship!!! I can't say I don't get as P.O.ed as ANY of those folks, cuz I do. but I've learned that the best way to deal with that sort of thing is to keep my BIG FAT mouth shut!!!At least in public!. PLEASE don't anyone start attacking me for calling them big mouths-I said that about MYSELF!!!

No, ma'am, you're not wrong. This is not the place for a "soap opera" or personal attacks. When you see posts such as those you are describing, it would help us all a great deal if you would report the post to a moderator. The report "button" is in the lower right corner of every post and specifically identifies the post and notifies us via e-mail. We try to stay on top of this, but admittedly, we can't find them all. We have young 'uns coming here; and, frankly, I don't want them reading that kind of garbage!

Thanks for your input,

Ron

I hope the matter has been handled; if not, please report the posts you are referring to. Some of them were located and threads locked, but left visible because of legitimate and informative posts made within the respective threads. We certainly do not condone personal attacks. Frankly, with a career and family, I don't have the time to read each post made here; although, I wish I could because I am certin I am missing out on information, as well as the posts of which you speak. As the membership here increases, so do the posts, as do the problems. Please, report any posts which you find offensive.

Thanks,

Ron

I think that Diana is right...but I am just wondering ....Wich are the results of so many gathered united eforts ?
Have we found the best GPTR program, the best reliable one ?
Have we found honesty in these more and more un-trustable ads ?

I think for the majority of programs out there, they are dishonest. There are some good ones. I tend to stick with no/low-payout, with a proven payout period. Also, I prefer ones that use PayPal. PayPal is free, and easy to fund.
Also, my first day with a new program, I try and write the admin an e-mail. Generally some question not directly answered in the FAQ, or just a hello and a request for a response. This not only tests the response time of the admin, but also if you get an automated response (hate those). If you get an admin with a good amount of intelligence, you can tell from his e-mail. Something like "you are click to paid e-mail to credit account" is generally a bad sign (I actually got a very similar response like that from a paid to click e-mail program I joined). I also like to ask the admin the number of active users in his database, how many have been paid, and how he defines active (daily/weekly/monthly/ect). Also, you can investigate how much they charge for advertising. If a site offers a big sign up bonus (bad sign), offers a huge reward for doing something (another bad sign), but then charges advertisers the standard rate, don't be surprised when the program folds. Generally, the GPT web site will keep anywhere between 10-50% of what they bring in. So if they are charging advertisers .004 per task, don't expect to get paid much more than .002. Remember also that referral monies needed to be added to that.

These are just some of the guidelines I use. They are by no means 100%, and given the variety of people, may or may not apply. I'm glad that places like this exist to provide potential warnings about programs!
