Has anyone been paid from the site at-mails.com?

trulyfair
6th August 2008, 15:59
At-Mails.com is an unsustainable site so it's highly unlikely that anyone has ever gotten paid.

At the present time, they claim to have 7,956 members yet they sell a $1.00 USD solo to all for $1.50. That's a loss of $7,954.50 on each ad sold!!

No wonder the program is shown on the Black List of PTR (http://www.gptboycott.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17927).

It's a scam! I went through the whole payment process and they posted on their now absent "Been Paid" page that they had paid me over $700 via Pay Pal. They have never paid me a cent and suspended my account when I complained. I did file a claim with Pay Pal and got the $45 that I paid to upgrade to Gold back from them.

The owner of the site actually has a page that lists all his other sites - undoubtedly also scams - here they are:

Once I filed the claim it was within the day that it was back in my Paypal account. At-mails suspended my account after that saying that I'd cheated them by getting free advertising and free referrals - I never did get my referrals and they never paid me my earnings.

I'm a gold member. I requested two payouts after three days i found in the been paid section that I've been paid. But when I checked my paypal account, I didn't receive even a single penny. No doubt that at-mails, cd-mails, be-mails are scam. Don't waste your time by clicking on these sites. I'm using at-mails for advertising purposes because as a gold member, I'm getting free monthly ads.

This is what happened to me. I paid to be a gold member and when I reached payout, I requested payment. I was on their list of "been paid" list, but never saw a cent. When I complained they suspended my account and removed their been paid list from their site.

I then went through paypal and requested the money I had paid for the upgrade and did receive that back.

I do continually contact them through their contact link asking that they pay me what they owe me, but they never respond. I will, however, continue to post warnings to everyone to avoid their sites.

50centsmails.com is another unsustainable scam site like at-mails

* 1000 Clicks PTC worth 30c 30sec - $0.35
* 10000 Clicks PTC worth 30c 30sec - $3.00

30 cents x 1000 = $300
30 cents x 10,000 = $3000

If I gave you $3 and told you go pay 10,000 people 30 cents each you wouldn't be able to... neither can they. They know this and they don't intend to pay anyone.

As a general rule of thumb, most sites that offer more than 1 cent per click are unlikely to be for real. Check the advertising page and see if the numbers add up right, but if they charge less than they need to to pay the members, then they can't pay even if they wanted to. If they're offering large amounts of money per click, even if they were charging $300 for that ad up there, no one would pay that kind of money when they could get an ad to 1000 for $1 to $10 on other sites and get exactly the same hits.

I have been working with At-mail.com now for months. I never bought into the upgrade so they have not gotten anything from me except my time. I have been searching ripoffreport.com and Scams.com and have never found anything on them. Of course I was hopping this was a good thing. At- mails claims if you do not upgrade then you have to reach $2000 before you can get a pay out. I am about $200 away from that goal. I just did not want to get overly happy till the check is in the bank. Now I found this site which has really made me upset. I have spent so much of my time clicking on this sites ads just to find out it might not pay off. PLEASE!!!! Someone tell me you have gotten paid.

Thanks

Sadly, I too have been scammed by this site.

I did receive a refund via paypal though.

I also notified the US Government Cyber Crimes unit with all of the details of this guys' websites. I gave them his name, address, telephone number and 3 email addresses that I was aware of as well as 4 websites of his...www.at-mails.com, www.cd-mails.com, www.be-mails.com and www.deep-mails.com Beware of ALL of them.

His website hosting company has also been notified that their customer is under investigation from the Cyber Crimes unit. They've been put on notice that they are hosting a crook and that the FBI may be contacting them. :)

If anyone doesn't know how to file such complaints, you can file them here. This is for US people http://www.ic3.gov I don't know where you would file if you are not from the US.

~Cheers~

Day 64

I went to check on my payment status and at-mails.com has removed my day counter and in the place of it was a new never before seen paragraph with a nasty little tone to it. This is exactly what it says...even the typos

when you reach min pay out,you can requests here!
Upgraded payout only upgrdemember can use!
if you ar not!you will lose your money!
If you are a member from China, you can use your earnings to redeem ads only!

Under the help link on this site in the earning questions section there is a question.

When can I request payment?
You may request payment after you have earned the minimum payout.
Free member payout is $2000, Gold member payout is $500, Platinum membership payout is $250, Diamond membership payout is $20

Well I have accomplished my goal with this site.
They are officially a scam site. I earned $2,766.00 with this site.
Please people don't waste your time. I am sure the next step the site will take is to say I cheated somehow.

They told me after my 64th day of requesting my payout that I had to be a paying member to receive payout.....So why do they have a free member payout amount???

I can't believe that this site is still functioning. I was at $200 when I started reading all the bad reveiws but none of them had reached the $2000.00 payout for free members so I had to continue so that either way I could post what I found.

Hoping for the best but expecting the worst....sigh

Doesn't surprise me a bit since the owner Tan Yan is from China and English isn't his first language. His hosting company is lucidityhosting.com out of Florida. The registrar of the domain is hichina.com Feel free to write them both a letter regarding the domain and the type of customers they have. If nothing else it might make you feel better. :) :)

kgee102605

I've notified the US Cyber Crimes unit to investigate all of this guys' sites.

I've also notified his hosting company and payment providers.

There is a way that we can all fight back....

Send emails to the payment processing company that this guy uses. AlertPay is one of them. Tell them that if they are going to provide services to scammers that you will NEVER use their services to pay anyone and you will also tell everyone else that you know that they support scams.

I did this and received a letter back from AlertPay thanking me for making them aware of whats going on. In my email I also sent them a link to this forum so that they could see that I was not the only person who had been scammed.

If we all band together and tell the companies that support these scammers that we won't stand for this. They will eventually shut down his payment processing account and he'll have to find someone else to do his dirty work. And, soon... he may not find anyone to process his payments at all and then he won't be taking ANYONE'S money. :)

Write an email to each of these and tell them unless they close his account you will boycott them: PayPal , E-Gold , alertpay , libertyreserve

I have had basically the same experience with at mails as Tommie has described. I reached the minimum payout for free members about two weeks ago and made the request for payment, at first there was a time since request counter, that disappeared in about two days(my request was $2500) I didn't have any amount listed in the debit section of the earnings area until the request for payment counter was removed then it showed the amount of $2000 and the rest was in my current earnings area. I also noticed this on the home page of the site::::
:Payments Will be Made Within 48 Hours via PayPal , E-Gold , alertpay , libertyreserve !
I found that not to be what I remembered when I signed up and thinking that they had changed the payment time I went back to the help section to check that and found this:::
When am I paid?
After your payment request is made and your account is in good-standing we will issue payment to you within 60 days.

Seems that the site administrator don't know when payment will be made so they just skip it.
I refuse to upgrade to a site until I am for sure I will be paid for free first, I too have invested a lot of time into at mails, running there ads on other websites to get referrals which I am up to over 46 now. I was hoping that this was not a scam but finding this site has shown me different.

I joined this site and the other 2 b/mails and c/mails,which i later found they are all the same company...I STUPIDLY paid for gold upgrade with my credit card...No i did not recieve a penny either..."does anyone know how i can claim my money back?"..
FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW....THIS SITE DOES AND NONE OF THE SITES ASSOCIATED PAY YOU ME OR THE DOG ANY MONEY...EVER...They are ok for ADVERTS....I have asked a solisitor and these people are commiting fraud...They should go to prison....I will update this as i am actually, attempting this....I paid $50/£32 to be paid "cash" that ia what it says...So i have not been paid.."so this is actually fraud"

Aw man, this is all so disturbing to hear. I joined all 3 of these sites at-mails, be-mails and cd-mails about a month back to the tune of $120 PayPal for all 3($55 at-mails, $35 be-mails and $30 cd-mails) My reasoning at least on at-mails was if he had over 25000 members and had been around for a little while he must not be a crook. Guess that thinking was all screwed up. I've been working my butt off this past month for this Tan Yan guy and just put in payout requests this past week on all 3 sites for $500 each site, the Gold Membership payout. On the upgrade page under gold membership it states payment made within 15 days but on the help page under faq's it says 60 days which I assumed meant for the free members. I have noticed that whenever I sent in a question on something he never responds back but I know he gets the message loud and clear as I had a scripts runner problem and sent in a message on his contact us form and he started sending the mails to my yahoo inbox rather than the web site inbox. I sure as heck will fight with PayPal to get my upgrade fees back and will report him to IC3 which I am already familiar with. Just how in heck do these crooks manage to keep on doing business is what I'd like to know. Sure my upgrade fees included additional advertising but I've used portions of that to cross advertise all 3 of those sites to bring myself in more referrals. This really sucks!:(

Once I filed the claim it was within the day that it was back in my Paypal account. At-mails suspended my account after that saying that I'd cheated them by getting free advertising and free referrals - I never did get my referrals and they never paid me my earnings.

I just went onto PayPal to file a dispute on my at-mails gold upgrade (paid upgrade on be-mails & cd-mails too) and once I hit the submit button I got a message that this type of transaction was not eligible for a dispute????!!!! If they refunded other's money I am wondering why my dispute online won't go through. I guess I'll call them tomorrow and see what I can do. At this point I have submitted payout requests 3 for $500 on at-mails, 2 for $500 on be-mails and 1 for $500 on cd-mails. All my (about 6) messages to this Tan Yan person asking when I could expect payment and even threatening to dispute my upgrade fees with PayPal have gone unanswered.:\

Yeah, I requested pay out (after upgrading to Gold; I wondered why it would be more expensive to use PayPal; I guess to pay back the charge back fee that the jerk will have to pay if you file a dispute). I haven't filed a dispute yet and I hope that they will let me now after seeing the previous posts. Unfortunately, it would appear that most of the PTR/PTC sites that I have joined are owned by this jerk. Anybody know any decent ones out there?

Anybody know anything about autoPTR? I have a bunch that I'm trying to check to see if any of them are legit. I'm thinking probably not since they make promises of HUGE payouts, etc. Oh, also there's another one that I think belongs to TanYan. It's dw-mails

14th June 2009, 10:51
Tanker,
I can't even get AutoPTR to load all the way for me.
How much is payout ?
dw-mails has a $200.00 payout so it is very likely that you will not get paid .
I would take a good guess that these are more scam sites .

wagdoll
14th June 2009, 12:38
I can't get autoptr to load properly either. I managed to find the ad page though and managed to read some of the text by looking at the code.

They claim to charge $1000 for 1000 x $1 PTCs. That sounds reasonable on the surface because at least before taking referral percentages into consideration at least it adds up. But no one, no one in the world is going to pay $1000 for 1000 PTCs on one of these sites. Even if they filled a webpage with trojans and autosearches to make $1 from a click (about the only way you will get $1 per click) they don't need to pay $1000 when they can easily get the same 1000 clicks at other sites for less than $1.

So that means that the owner is just sending out his own ads or those of his friends and he can't make that much by you clicking one link either, so he can't pay.

None of these sites with $1 emails/PTCs pay. It doesn't make any difference what the name of the site is they just don't pay.

Some of them may pay fractions of a penny to the dollar but imho I'd rather join a site that says up front they pay a fraction of a cent per click rather than support liars and tricksters.

Well this is the email I just got from PayPal after attempting to dispute my 3 upgrade fees to Tan Yan:

Thank you for contacting PayPal with your concern. As stated, we are not able to dispute a transaction after 45 days has elapsed. PayPal reserves the right to reopen any claim for
investigation within 180 days if multiple complaints are received about
a single seller. We will notify you if this is the case.

As soon as I opened the disputes up on PayPal and clicked on the status it showed them as being in a closed status for the very reason that more than 45 days had lapsed since the transactions. I contacted them back letting them know that it took at least 45 days or longer to earn my $500 payout level and then I waited the 15 days before even contacting Tan Yan to ask where my payment was and of multiple contacts to him, he never responded. So with that 45 day limit in place by PayPal you can see that this thief is beating the system and pretty much able to scam us all UNLESS as they stated in their response to me they get multiple complaints on him. I URGE ALL HERE WHO PAID BY PAYPAL TO CONTACT THEM NOW REGARDING THE FACT THAT TAN YAN HAS SCAMMED YOU AND MAYBE WE'LL HAVE SOME SUCCESS IN GETTING OUR MONEY BACK! In the meantime I'll use his site every month to get my advertising!!!

tanker62
18th June 2009, 02:48
The email I got from them told me that since it wasn't a tangible item (something you could hold) so they couldn't help out in the dispute process so basically he gets off scot free. The only other option is to boycott PayPal.

Always , always , read the Terms Of Service of a site before signing up
it will usually tell you what to expect .
If it does not mention pay outs at all , then use caution ..
Next , anything paying you more than 0.05 per action
except maybe for signing up to offers , has to be a scam
when they have thousands of members - how could they pay
$ 1.00 , $ 5.00 or more for you to read an email or ????

Yea I read thoroughly the TOS, especially since I was gold upgrading at all 3 sites, at-mails, be-mails, cd-mails. Not being familiar with the prices they charge versus what they payout (suppose to payout) I guess I was prime meat for this crook, It won't happen again, hard lesson learned. One thing I am getting out of his 3 sites is my monthly free advertising to advertise my legitamate businesses though. This Tan Yan is an outright <edited> thief and it's a ****ed shame that PayPal won't do a <edited> thing after 45 days goes by since you made payment. This is how Tan Yan screws us all who have paid upgrade fees, as even on the gold level you needed to reach $500 to request payout and by that point in time 45 days has passed.:baaa:

There are only two sites - Deals-n-Cash and Hits4Pay
that honestly pay more than .01 per ad , and even these are few only
most are only .01 .
Upgrade , or not - dollars per action is just not sensible / possible .
If you do not see anything about the site here , try a Google

that will get listed .
