But it took bloody forever. I checked the Memolink FAQs, it said they're having delays and it may take up to 3mos to process the requests. (grr) So at 3 mos & 1 day, I immediately sent an email to their customer service. They got back to me relatively quickly, they were quite nice & apologetic, and started the processing.

Then I waited some more. Then I checked the FAQ again. It said I might have to wait 4-6 (or 6-8, can't remember) weeks until the processed reward arrived. So I did the same thing again. I waited, and as soon as the time ran out, I emailed them again, got another nice, apologetic email, and recieved my reward within a week. Still, overall time was like 5 months. That seems kind of sketchy to me. I've decided that any future online shopping I do will go through either MyPoints.com or Creation Rewards. Mypoints has always paid me within a month, without hassle, and often within a week. And I've heard CR is similarly fast.

But honestly, 5 months??? It seems kind of unreasonable. So with patience and perserverance, you'll probably be rewarded, but it'll take a while.

How long must you wait for your reward from memolink? My request was for a $50 gift card on 9-11-01. I FINALLY received it 2 days ago. I kept bugging the heck out of them. But was it worth all the hassle.? Not sure. Have points I can redeem again, but don't know if I want to wait another 16 months.

They paid me the $10 Amazon GC that I requested in October 2001 yesterday. I pestered them with emails every few months and got autoresponder-type messages then apologies from Henry Bullis for not having processed my request sooner.

At the beginning of January, I warned them that if I didn't get my GC within 30 days, I would file a complaint with the BBB. Sure enough, I got it 29 days later.

They still owe me for a Target GC that I requested in August, though. I think I may give them another month then mention the BBB again.
