This is an opportunity for members of the forum to win $50 of advertising credit at GPTBoycott by contributing to the future of the site.

The question asked is: How can GPTBoycott get more get-paid sites "on board"? How could we increase the number of sites which choose to support the work we do, e.g. by linking to us?

The most valuable participant will be awarded $50 advertising credit at this site, but other prizes for good ideas may also be awarded. This competition does not have a pre-determined expiry date, and will simply run until the thread has received enough replies.

Many thanks,
Rob, GPTBoycott.Com

I feel the way you can get more GPT sites involved are the following:

1). Get more staff so the Boycott Procedure of a site goes alot faster once the number of complaints are filed and they are legit. The site has been a bit slow in this lately due to staff personal lives.

2). Have staff members that are available on site at all times to answer questions by GPT owners and members alot faster then they have been answered.

3). Contact site owners and have them get back to you about being part of the GPTB Network and maybe once more sites are involved, owners and members of those sites will make the forum alot busier and your reputation better at the same time.

4) Offer the site owners who do take you up on your offer alittle incentive of some sort if possible and that might help as well.

5). The most important I feel is more staff though who can help in the process of contacting the owners and also replying to any questions they may have about any of the above.

Just some thoughts of mine. Thanks again Rob and Staff.

I have to agree with RBN that the main thing is staff either more is required to be available to answer questions, control threads, possibly start discussions if necessary. Staff has to be trained, professional to a certain extent and a tough "outer shell" when it comes to criticism. My suggestion would also be to get rid of the referral links in the signature blocks, members could choose to use that space to choose to support a program that supports us, but other than that there is a thread for referrals and anything else is irrelevent. Well i think that I would be pretty helpfull if the admins offer 0.01 cent or 10 point for every good get-paid sites that they publish in a new forum that can be called like.....
New get-paid sites or something like that.

Offer some GPTBoycott banner exchanges with some sites.

Buy some banner impressions at other sites. Cheap ones.

Post more at other boards with GPTBoycott and it's link in your signature.

Offer a small incentive for GPT sites to promote you. Whether it's a topic with their private search engine links or ptp sites, or banners or text links or something, it doesn't matter. Any type of free advertising or money making project to help them will make them happy. Offer two search or five ptp links and put them in a pinned topic, please support our supporters. I don't know if that would actually work in practice, but the banners or text ads would.

I think if you involved the websites you are putting on the watch list and boycotting more, websites may take you seriously. I think you need to contact the websites you are putting on the watch list and those receiving complaints BEFORE you put them there and ask the PO for input on why they feel that these members are dissatisfied with their program.

I also think that you need to post whatever you have PROOF of. ONE member that was deleted from my site made some very serious FALSE allegations and you let them post it in your forum without first asking for proof. You let them post whatever they like but when the webmaster (in this case ME), tries to post to let the truth be known, you edit, censor and delete.

GPT sites as well as members do NOT take this site seriously. I personally DO NOT support this site and WILL NOT until things seriously change and I have spoken to other PO's about this and they feel the same. You need to clean up your act.

PS..I bet you this post won't win a prize!
