Well for months I was OK with MakeThatDollar. They paid me monthly and all was well.
This month however, I decided to take the option they offer of getting paid within 5 business days for a 25% fee which is deducted from earnings.

Did not pay within the 5 days. Sent a trouble ticket a day after that time had elapsed. No reply to the trouble ticket as yet and no payment.

Requested payment 10/07/08
Payment would be due by 10/14/08
On 10/15/08 sent trouble ticket
As of today, 10/20/08, No reply and no payment.

So if and when they do get around to paying me, I have given up 25% of my earnings and didnt get the payment early which was the whole point.

Sorry for the delay there lizmc2. You were paid earlier this afternoon and the 25% fee was NOT taken out of your payment, since we failed to pay within the stated amount of time. Thanks for being a great member.

I love MakeThatDollar! I've send a lot of members there and have 260 referrals in your program. I wish you had kept the referral bonus though; I was just using it to place PTC ads. It's hard now because there's no referral contest... Maybe silver dollars could have added benefits and exchange options like PTC ads, banners in the rotation and even paid to signup offers could be added. This would be substantially more valuable than the current jackpot contest and the raffles seem very expensive for the site in any case. It really seems like the raffle money would be better if paid out via a referral contest or other forms of silver dollar rewards.

Honestly, I also really liked your old background! Not to be anti-progress but it seemed much sharper, cleaner, and easier on the eyes... I'm still a huge fan in any case and keep up the great work there! Best & Take Care, - Jordan

Thanks for the kind comments. The referral bonus was something the new owner added and wasn't added very efficiently. I may add it back but not at this time. As for the referral contest, there should have been one that started on October 1st. I'll have to check and if it's not up, I'll put one up.

What do you think about the silver dollars ideas? I'm not a big fan of raffles and know it still costs the site money to unload the silver dollars; are there any plans for silver dollars? thanks! maybe even PTC ads... I've noticed in the MTD forum that they're very popular with the members and flip the silver dollar earnings back into the site via ads to click and activity. I've seen some sites do this with another version of Silver Dollars and they allow you to buy 250 hit ads that are only worth the some value of silverdollars and not cash for the reward redemptions.
