I hope it isn't true but I keep hearing how PayPal is not going to be allowing GPTR sites to use it anymore.
This is very bad as PayPal was used for nearly all sites I am so I can receive the payments.
I have checked out the others and they are not as good by even 1/4.
I have joined Yahoo's PayDirect but no one seems to be using it. I can understand as it is only open to USA members but I still wish this could be an option for those of us in the USA.

Some that are good in other countries, like MoneyBookers, are not really well suited for USA members...
Anyone else have 2 cents to add on this PayPal issue?

Paypal have never explicitly said "paid e-mail programs are not allowed to use Paypal", so I don't think it's much to worry about honestly.
They did warn affiliate programs and the like... but did not shut their accounts, just gave them 30 days notice to stop them accepting Paypal. This includes 1heluva. I should note it's not Paypal's fault - It's the pressure from Visa and Mastercard.

I know it is not their fault.
All the same I kept getting notice after notice from ptr owners that PayPal was not allowing them to operate using PayPal anymore. So as a result they were removing it.
Now though I hear that a few other PTR owners have been in contact with PayPal and that use by the PTR industry is being re-evaluated.
*keeps fingers crossed* as I really prefer PayPal over all the others I have looked at.

New Hope. Word on the wire is that PayPal is reconsidering not doing business with the paid to read industry.
They are taking a closer look at what is all about before making a decision...
*keeps fingers crossed*

BRAVO, Mr. Hammond, B R A V O ! ! ! !
That was without doubt one of the most informative articles I have seen written to date covering the mystique of the pyramid and its hidden truth.
I sincerely hope the agencies you called into play take an active role on behalf of all who have been taken in by the misleading statements intended to give the illusion of hope for a "brighter future", based of course on a 'small' investment.
Thanks for providing us with the link to your comments.

Well they just closed Opt-In-Pays and Linkbursts Paypal accounts.
Now both those programs can't accept or pay members by Paypal anymore.

Where did you read or hear about this? I am a member of both and have not heard nor read a thing about this.

When you login to Opt-In Pays.
Here is the Quote from their site:
2002-12-14: Our PayPal account has been locked by PayPal. We are attempting to find out from PayPal why this has happened and how to unlock it, but so far we have not heard anything. Having the account locked has caused all payments from November earnings that were still pending to be cancelled. It has also caused us to not be able to process payments for advertising purchases on Friday. In response to this, we have implemented a new payment processor to accept payments by credit card and echeck and that is now live! While we are attempting to get our PayPal account back to normal, we will be looking at the many alternatives for sending out your earnings in the future. It's back to business as usual. :-) We apoligize for the inconvenience this has caused!

Ah okay. Well I am sure this will all be straightened out soon and I have been meaning to switch my account to hold payments for a while now...
I Guess now would be a really good time to do so. I am fairly certain it is a foobar and PayPal will correct it.
