I am seeing this all over the place. The owner have reset the whole program by deleting everything from the members, stats, downlines and everything else. I am waiting to see if there is any complaints against them for not paying members either. This is one of the links I found on the subject right now.

If the owner of that program were honest, and what he was saying about the signup bonus and the old mails having been way to high, etc. was true, then he should have either adjusted accounts or if he was going to purge the members he should have done it right after buying the site, not after people had promoted it and made him a lot of money clicking. His excuses sound good until you think about that fact, and either he's out to rip people off or he's frankly too **** stupid to be running a PTR. The guy apparently couldn't spell or type that well so who knows. The fact that he supposedly didn't even warn anyone and was sending paid mail the night before doesn't do much to make him look honest.

I read it somewhere that this program was listed under being boycott on here. I wonder if this alone will be readded back?

They were, becuase they had a minium of $400 to cashout.

I we dont really have any complaints on them, so if i can get at least 1 person to submit them i will try and add them to the boycott list.

Yeah...

The reason why all are forced to resignup is because of a problem with the signup form that the owner was having, which meant that basically he had lost all members on the mailing list. No more e-mails would have been sent because of this problem.

It occurred when he tried to get rid of the targeting on the sign-up form.

Strange, he posted over in the Get Paid Forum that he deleted all the accounts to start from scratch. I smell he is not telling the truth of what happened.

Hmm, that sounds about right. From what I saw of his post he was getting rid of members because the old link amounts had been too high along with the signup bonus. And this story about the signup form and not being able to send any more mail? He sent paid mails literally hours before deleting everyone! I don't think there was ever any "script problems". It's an excuse now that he admitted that he just couldn't afford to pay, to try and save face.

Does anyone mind if i use your comments to add them to the boycott list?

Well, I won't sign up again.

The webmaster sent e-mails on Saturday, Then Sunday you can't loggin. Never any notice about any changes. Let alone START ALL OVER. But still sending e-mails right to the last second before this so called UPGRADE. Then delete all members and accounts. I e-mailed yesterday morning, and have not recieved any reply.

The above is what I posted a week ago in another forum.

I have yet to hear from the webmaster.

Also on 10/27 - "This account has been suspended Please contact billinng/support department as soon as possible"

Later the same day it was up and running. Then 11/3 is when the account closesures and the re-sign up accured.

I am going to disagree they should be boycotted. Did anyone even bother to contact them at all or just immediately start ranting on the forums screaming scam as happens all too often?

I contacted them about the disappearance of my account and my extreme displeasure as I had also paid for Gold. I was told to sign up again and I would get my gold status back as well as my referrals.

I did and I was very satisfied with the outcome.

Here are the emails and responses:

My initial query:

Where is my account? I was a gold member, I had 51 referrals on level one. Now I have nothing.
Why? I was also active and I notice I last received a paid email from you on 11/03/02

I had been with Read2BeRich since its beginning...

I am not telling they should be listed here, but I am really unhappy

I just lost hundreds of referrals.I read their emails every day.
I was not a gold member,so I don't think I can request anything :(

Yeah i sent them an email. Here's the response i got. I sent a follow up, but didnt get anything back.

hi yes i have had a lot of this lately but these are my reasons
1. the previous owner sent 5 and 10 cent links on a $400 payout which
and i wanted to pay member not scam them so i lowered payout to $20 but
this meant that links were low values to cover these 5 and 10 cent
links
2. But even then people were complaining that i didnt pay anyone so i
wanted to lower payout to 75 cents which i couldnt do with the current
member database so i ahd to restart
i hope this answeres everything but if not please email me any more and
the results of whether i am being boycotted or not thanx chris

So what are you going to do?

Keith

I added them to the boycott list. I know you dont agree with this, but he stole members earnings. If he can come up with a better way of doing this then i will take them off. Which i dont know if he can , unless he made a copy of the database before he deleted it.

The fact remains, there were other ways he could have handled this, such as just zeroing everyone's earnings. Sure, that would raise a stink, but at least those who promoted the program wouldn't be out their referrals. He could have forced everyone who started before (insert date here) to use their earnings up for gold memberships or point ads, or forfeit them. Other webmasters have done similar things and in doing so had better results than just starting over. I think the real goal here was to eliminate those with large downlines who could have hit that $20 payout consistently.

no warning to members,,my gold membership, referrals gone, money gone...nothing but trouble with him the whole time I was a member. He refused to give me all my ads for gold membership after I paid for it. Rude, sneaky to the max.. I was shocked when I saw what he had finally done; but guess I shouldn't have been. I hope ZERO people re-sign up under that program.
