The Forum Rules have been updated as of October 30, 2005:
However, a member's "rights" end at the point the member's writings become, contain, hyperlink to or include URL's to:
8. Posts should remain on-topic. If you are unsure where to post what you want to discuss, please PM a staff member and we'll try to find a place for it.
9. Actions commonly known as "backseat modding" or "playing the moderator" are prohibited. This covers posts which publicly ask staff to review posts, to lock a thread (aside from a thread's opening poster if his query has been resolved), or to warn, punish or ban a member. This said, we do not wish to discourage the reporting of rule violations on our forums, and so we provide a selection of contact avenues.
If you have a concern regarding one of these issues, or a rule violation, acceptable methods of making your thoughts known are to PM a staff member, and to use the "Report" button, a triangle located at the upper-right corner of posts. If your concerns have warrant and another member has broken a forum rule, we politely request that you refrain from posting in an inciteful manner.
