Seems like a webmaster, not on the boycott list, is using other people's Social Security numbers to sign them up for Hamster.com. I found this post on the Get Paid Forum about this. And you can not believe the names came up being a suspect? Yes, CosmicWealth and AdultPaidMail came up.

Only a fool gives out their social security number online.
Also, FYI - you are not required to give out your number unless you have made $600 or more from that individual company.

I know, a lot of them claim it is to ensure that a person only has 1 account. However, there are other ways they can do that effectively.

I gave up my payments ($10 & $25) from 2 companies because they demanded my ss# before they would make payment.

There were a couple of these programs asking for all info including SS number, telephone number, your address, and everything else. One of those programs could be behind this.
