My account was blocked without a reason. The webmistress has financial problems and she is doing everything just not to pay her members. I knew that one day she'll start acting like a scam.
I feel cheated and offended. Bye Bye Scam-co-op!

Have you wrote to ask Carole why your account was blocked ????
she is doing everything just not to pay her members. I knew that one day she'll start acting like a scam.
Where you get that idea from I don't know, She is doing all in her
power to get money in to pay her members, In all my dealings
with her, I have found her straight forward and honest, Maybe
too honest at times, But I prefer honesty to anything else.
I had a good downline on Coppercoins and am a little upset that
the program is closing down, But instead of closing it and dong a
runner she is allowing members to port over the earnings.
Members can still cash out at $10, All I can see that is different is
that instead of paying the same day she is asking for a delay of
30 days as is stated in the TOS, The only difference at this
moment is she has raised the points redemption to try to get
paying advertisers, So as to your comment of "acting like a scam"
I am baffled..

Hi Przemek
I am sorry if you didn't know that selling your membership is not
allowed, I don't think there is any site that allows this. Maybe if
you had written to Carole and explained that you had made a
mistake this would not have happened, I just noticed today after
posting to this thread your other post advertising your Mec-Co-Op
membership for sale, If I had noticed it earlier I would have
warned you about the possibility of losing your membership.
Sorry

I didn't know that this is not allowed. It is not written in her TOS. I don't know why is it considered as cheatig but I don't care about her and her pitiful program anymore.
I don't believe that anyone will be paid by Mec-co-op again. She sends 3-4 cent paid links a month. It would take years to accumulate payout minimum!
I know that Carole would send cent paid links if people were buying ads, but why should they spend money, if they can redeem points for ads? That's the way 98% of ads in Mec-co-op are point ads and it will never change!
Those point ads are worth nothing anyway. It's totally uneffective. 10 ads in one e-mail even without a layout? Ridiculus!
I know that we all remember Mec-co-op as a good program, but let's face the truth: it is not a good program anymore! It is going the same path as Spedia did: good program --> financial problems --> scam.
I feel cheated and offended by Carole. I don't want to have anything to do with Scam-co-op and with her.
And here is my poster saying what I think about Mec-co-op:

If you find it too offensive you can delete the link, but please don't delete the whole post.

Your Poster is Totally Wrong, But you are allowed your opinion,
I would just like to point out something......This was received
from Mec-co-op
I've come up with what i believe to be a better solution because:
1. There are too many point ads being sent because i've made it too easy to redeem points for ads
So i'm making the following change instead of requiring $20 for a $10 payout (only charging your account $10) which still would have left $10 to redeem when i lifted the Temporary restriction
I'm going to raise the requirement for a point ad from 5000 points for a 10 point ad to 10,000 points.
I will still leave a $5 cash redemption for a 10 point ad so that will encourage more people to redeem their earnings for the ads to help reduce the deficit quicker
For $10 cash redemption i'll require $10 but will have a 30 day waiting period as per my TOS, so that will give me 30 days to generate the funds necessary to pay those requests.
I think by making it soooooooooooo easy to redeem points for ads, it's killed the cash mail requests by sending too many point mails.
I do not want mec-co-op to become a paid2click site for points
It started out as a cash mail site, and that's what it should mainly be.
So i'll make the appropriate changes to the redemption buttons.
This was a suggestion from a member on another forum, So you
can see Carole does take notice of her members, I am sticking
with it..... What people seem to forget is that the point emails
would have been NON Paid ads, At least we are getting
something for them. I Don't agree with everything she has done
But for now I do not agree that Mec-Co-Op is a Scam !!!
