I have been with this site since August last year and I like it a lot

however the site slowness that happens on a regular basis

is a worry. I do want to try the gold membership but am

concerned that once I part with my money the site may be off line

again for upgrades or whatever.

Has anyone out there become a gold member yet?

If so do you find the site quicker or the same?

Do other people experience difficulties with this site?

Would appreciate some feedback here

:)

My advice is go with the shortest gold membership they offer, but be sure that you at least make your cash back...

Take advantage of the unlimited points :)

Yeah their site is quite slow. It's not just you. I think many other people have had this problem also.

I actually bought a year membership with them for $60 (less $5 bonus they were offering at the time). I've made over $100 with them in the past, so I figured i was just reinvesting the money i made off of them anyway. I am concerned, however, with the frequency with which they seem to have trouble with their site. I just hope they stick around long enough for me to redcoop what i spent.

I am waiting till the site gets up and running again before I become a gold member

I will try for the 3 month one first but am having doubts with all their server problems:\

I may wait tilll the end of May before going gold and see how the site performs till then.

Its a great site when it runs quickly otherwise its just a waste of time:\

Hello peoples! Just joined your website!
I have only been with IPTL for less than 2 months. And the site was down for a long time to update itself. I feel sorry for those who did purchase the Gold membership for that period of time. I personally am hesitant to do so until I receive alittle more info about them.
(As of today I did have probs with the site not loading during a survey but before that it was OK.
Now for my ?'s. Please feel free to respond to any or all of them! I would greatly appreciate it!
1. Ok, I have 2 degrees in College, but certain categories seem so impossible for me! The Bible, and the Animal Kingdom ?'s. I have emptied out most of the categories in the beginner but in order for them to
"re-appear" I need to finish these categories.. So what do I do?
At the beginning of each month do they all reapper?
2. I posted my referral id on 2 other web boards, and they signed up. Now they are in my 10x (whatever) referral network, but are not taking quizzes I can see. Since I do not personally know them I can't email them to please play. And how would I know if they cancelled? IPTL won't tell. So as long as their names are there I can't recieve another 10 referrals, right?
3. How do you feel about purchasing AADR's? I think its a waste of money. Especially with only 1 point per quiz they answer.
4. About the Gold - and unlimited points... How does ANYONE find the time to do this many quizzes? I DO have a life? (I think) I figured by taking the beginner quizzes at 30 points- it would take me 12 and 1/2 hrs to reach the "free 4,500 points.
5. In order to cash in for money, I need 54,000 points??? Oops, but thats alot! "I'd be here forever! I'm on webtv, and Paypal doesn't recognize webtv users to establish an account.
6. I signed up to receive emails, and boy, did I. But under my account, I do not see credits for this! No way will I buy in to these programs.
7. I do not have a website to promote myself, so I'll post under the referral link for someone to please sign under me.
Well, this is all I can think of for now. There's got to be an easier way to earn money. I am under every survey site possible including Pinecone, but I completely avoid any pay to read or click email sites.
Bye for now! Glad I found this website!

Sorry about the typos earlier. I really should preview these before I submit them...
When I signed up, I did get to do one survey, for I think, 250 points. And I did sign up to receive surveys. Does anyone here ever receive surveys from them, or do you have to be Gold for preferential treatment?
Boy, they really try to sell alot with all their advertisements!

I can answer at least one of your concerns about IPTL. Even if you've got 10 referrals, that doesn't mean you can't get more refs on your first tier. It's a 10 tier referral program, not a 10x10 forced matrix. I've been paid by them once myself and waiting for my second payment now. As for the speed of the site, I find that it has greatly improved after they dropped the retake quizzes.

Personally I find most of the intermediate categories quite easy to deal with (always been a sucker for general knowledge) If you want an impossible category, go for advanced history... those Q's are written by a true sadist :p

I can answer one of your questions

The quizzes do reappear regularly whether you finish them or not and they are the same ones. At least in the advanced section anyway.

I have noticed the speed as improved greatly too since the retake quizzes are no more

:)

History is Ok but what about some of those spelling words like
triskaidekaphobia or rhadamanthine

The mind boggles

I like the site and spend perhaps 1 hour a day on it so I can get the 4500 points in no time :)

I know one of them..

triskaidekaphobia is the fear of the number 13 I believe...

PayPal doesn't recognize WebTV? Since when? Must have changed their rules because I had a WebTV when I first got on the internet 2 years ago, and that's when I signed up for my account there. What a bummer for WebTV users!

IPTL hasn't just been down a lot these last two months. This has been an ongoing thing since at least last November. They have ALWAYS had site problems. Slowness especially. I still belong, but only do one quizz now every 3 months to keep the account open. It's on the back burner for me. There's no way I'd pay for a membership with all the problems IPTL is STILL having-has never stopped having-since I joined last October. I think the only way IPTL even stays in business is because the paid members are unable to recoup their money due to the site being down so much. I think when IPTL only paid pennies per thousands of points in NOvember or December and the members flocked back to give IPTL some more of their earnings in January, IPTL figured out they could keep making excuses as to why the members-paid and otherwise- couldn't earn any money..

Without referral's IPTL is a losing proposition I think. It would take me 7-1/2 months to make $30 unless I did sign ups too. I didn't join IPTL to do sign ups. Back when I joined it was simply an RP where I could earn money by taking quizzes.

By the way, I have a life. It exsists here on the internet. I'm here from the time I wake up in the morning until the time I go to bed at night, ecxept for a couple hours a day when I go for a ride on my electric scooter, and unless I just have to go someplace. I do reward programs all day long. "Hello, my name is Bobbie and I'm a webaholic." Ha! Ha! I don't have kids to tend to. I do have a husband, but he's on the net most of the day too. (He's retired, and I'm on disability.).

I myself have really enjoy the IPTL site, I don't have to many troubles with lag, and the site is greatly improved. I just hope I get the ADDR's that I purchased soon. However the 2 points per day helps with my points! I ususally have the 4500 points reached by the 2nd week of the month and am considering upgrading to gold now.

Cheers

I still enjoy this site and have upgraded to a 3 month gold membership :)

I have over 40,000 points this month so I am happy :)

No I do not sit on the site all day as I work and have 3 kids but I do the quizes while doing other click through programs and while I watch some telly :)

I just meant that I do have work, family responsibilities, ect. that I usually go on the internet once every few days for an hour or so. That is when I started to figure out just how much time it would take me to earn enough points to make some money.
For those of you who have the time > good for you. I personally don't have or I should say prefer to use my time too much in here.
Now if I wasn't working,,, WHO knows?
Anyway, I was just making an off the cuff remark, not implying anything.
Just wanted some input. Free time is just that - doing what YOU want to do! OKEE-KABEE-BABEES???
peace.:hehe:
