I am also doing the silvana mails. A friend of mine just redeemed her 800,000 dollars. We are now waiting to see if it works. Other then that i havent heard anything bad about it yet. DOes anyone else know anything about it?

Whenever you join a ptr site one way to get a good idea if they will be able to pay or not is to check out the advertising page.

Silvana sends mails worth $2000? And they have more than 7500 members. If just 1000 members clicked on an email it would cost them $2 million dollars. How much do they charge?

$2000 Solo paid email to all (timer 150 sec.) - $1.50 - ($2.00 when you pay via PayPal, $2.50 StormPay)

That isn't quite going to cover the cost of even one person clicking that mail... Sites normally have about 25% click through rate (the percentage of members who will click) unless it is a guaranteed click ad, or a paid to click ad which are always the same number of clicks as the total given.

PTC ads on Silvana mails:

1.000 PTC Worth $1000 (timer 40 sec.) - $1.50 - ($2.00 when you pay via PayPal, StormPay)

$1000 X 1000 clicks = $1 million dollars, yet they are only charging $1.50 - they are not going to be able to pay members.

You might want to take a look at the sustainability folder in this forum to learn more about this subject and save yourself a lot of time clicking emails for these scammers.

There is no point in requesting payout from any site like this because you're not going to get it.

If you don't believe me, wagdoll explained why payout is impossible just a few posts ago.

I have the emails if you want them. Just let me know. I upgraded to Silvania Mails on 10/20/08, and I received two emails today from them. I researched the company before I upgraded (I am not stupid....) I kindly asked the people of Silvania Mails if they were a scam. I got a nice reply back. I should receive my payment of $2,000 in the next two days. I will show you a screen shot of it when I get it. They pay their UPGRADED members every month, but it's only a percentage of what they make a month....so really if you think about it, if you upgrade, you are making a profit! I don't know why you people are saying this site is a scam. I got emails from members who have been paid by them (They webmaster owns alot of these sites) and she got paid after she upgraded. You know what they say, you have to spend money to make money! Now, if your interested in the emails I received, I would be more than happy to forward them to you. I am reasurred of this site, (they changed the webmaster, and he is an honest one...) How can you say its a scam, if you haven't tried it or not. Now, I am on getrefmails to and I am a free member there to, I just cashed out last night at $1,014. He pays every month to....(Just and FYI) and I found another great site if your interested in it. Did you really expect the PO to admit the program is a scam?

According to SilvanaMails.net's TOS (http://www.silvanamails.net/pages/terms.php) upgraded members will be paid faster. That's simply to encourage people to pay $249-$349 (depending on the payment processor) to upgrade. Of course, once the membership reaches 12,000 the upgrade fee is then $500!


As part of your research, did you check out the the advertising page (http://www.silvanamails.net/pages/advertise.php)?

I'm not insulting your intelligence but, even though you checked out the advertising page, I notice that you did not answer the question I asked.

In regards to the email from "one of the members", did you know this person beforehand or was it sent to you "out of the blue" because you asked the owner questions?

To answer your question about the advertising, I advertise on there....It's not unsustanbile. There are only 41 people upgraded on Silvania Mails...including me....so that makes $82,000. They only pay you $2,000 to each upgraded member. So it kinda evens it out. The non upgraded people get $2.00. Wouldn't that make sense? And yes, I emailed the members on there, before I upgraded, and I know their not lying to me. Have you seen the ads on there? Why would somebody put their personal DRIVER'S LICENSE on there if their lying. I for one wouldn't do it. Sometimes, you have to take a risk. It's like a casino, if you lose money ohh well....you move on to the next slot machine...or in this case the PTR/PTC. There are honest ptc's out there. You just have to find them!!

As far as I can see, ALL members are supposed to be paid $2,000 per email, upgraded or not. Even IF the free members were to receive only $2, that would be 9,001 x $2 = $18,002.

$82,000 + $18,002 = $100,002 so charging $2.50 for the ad does NOT make sense at all. Of course, no one is going to pay the amount that would actually cover those payments, unless the person happens to be a multi-millionaire! :laugh:

Well, I am here to ask if anyone knows about GetRefMails, if they are ligit or not? I am a free member there, but I highly doubt, (since I am still new to this GPT thing) that I will get paid as a free member....since I got burned for Silvania Mails (but I have good news on that) Last week, I threatened the owner I would get a lawyer if he didn't pay my upgrade fee back, and the next day I got my $349.00 back!!!! Woo Hoo to me!!! So to all who I pissed off, I AM SORRY!!!! So now he deleted my account!! Good!!! So, for my question, Is GetRefMail ligit or am I wasting my time on that one!!!

Okay, Okay....now i know I am nieve!!!!, (don't know how to spell it though) I am very new to this, and i will tell you a story.....Okay, now that pissed everybody off in the PTC world.....here it goes. I paid the upgrade fee....he sent out his payments and you know what I got $2.00. Go ahead and laugh at me...I don't care!! But here is the good part....I sent him an email regarding this, even the stupid affiliate lady who is affiliated with him and she told me they pay their FREE (mind you I wasn't a free member) in 30-90 days...okay i blew off that email. I got nothing from him. I reported him to ripoff report and the FBI!!! I got no results. Now mind you i wasn't down on this one.....I reported him to paypal...and I got my money back for the upgrade. If I knew how to do a screen shot I would show you! I got my $349.00 back just because I threatened him to get a lawyer. And that is all it took. Now, I am on a mission to get him and get him good!!! I get emails all the time from people who want to know if I got paid and I just tell them the truth!!! Yep, a whole $2.00!!! So there you go. I know, I know!!! I should have listened....but I had to find out for myself. So I feel better now. I am sorry for whoever I pissed off!!!! I am just stubborn sometimes!!!

Truckersgal, you didn't p^ss me off. In fact, I felt sorry that you had fallen for the con and had paid to upgrade and I'm glad you got a refund for that. Well done! ;)

Before you join a program:

1. Check the payout amount. Anything over $5 is not recommended.

2. Check the advertising prices and make sure they are charging enough to cover the payment to the number of members to whom the ad is being sent, plus some extra for site expenses. There is a good explanation regarding sustainability here (http://www.gptboycott.com/sustainability/).

3. Check the "Been Paid" threads in forums, such as this one, to see if members are reporting payments from the site in question. If not, ask for information.
