View Full Version : Mec-Co-Op Worries Me

I am worried about this program. She is shooting herself in the foot. I e-mailed her asking her nicely to stop slamming others using the CAC scripts because it would make her look bad, and John look bad as well. Advertisers won't advertise with her because she keeps using the word crap all the time when she talks about CAC scripts. This would hurt John in business wise as well. This should not be tolerated at all, and it is very unprofessional of her to say these things. How is she going pay her members if she does not have advertisement when they are scared away with her unprofessional attitude towards other companies? I say a slander suit might get her into trouble as well.

I agree with you in a way, But you can't just blame one person,
Others are doing the same thing, One of them even has it as part
of an advert for Johns scripts
Awesome News to the Paid 2 Read World !!!

Jaydillar's SuperCash has developed a conversion kit

Scripts ...
Which is cheating all members of the /PaidMail/ scripts
sites as well as cheating the owners of these sites ...
I am so against these scripts site owners
Show that you Care about your memberships and upgrade your
sites today !!
Both sets of scripts have their faults, But my feelings are that if a
webmaster is honest and I like the program I don't realy mind
what scripts they run.

I think these people should take a step back and realise that it was CAC that gave them the chance of owning a program in the first place. Then to stab them in the back is disgraceful.
Then look at the fact that all the ones moved over to MEC at some stage added bits to the scripts or tried to run php alongside cgi which turned out to be a real disaster.
I remember buying the new php upgrade for email and within a week had reverted to cgi because of the problems it caused. A waste of $50!
So do CAC scripts throw up constant MySQL errors?
Do CAC scripts lose earnings and referrals for no reason?
Do CAC scripts take up to 5 minutes to load? (server)
Do CAC scripts often not credit for paid email clicks?
Ther answer to ALL the above is NO - so tell me which is the more reliable - MEC or CAC?
The only problem with the CAC scripts is that when a member resigns their referrer loses his downline too! A known problem and one that I believe the programmer at CAC is working on.
I know which one we at Emailsformoney will be staying with.

First of all here's the faults with CAC scripts from a webmaster that ran them for months.
People who just start out using CAC scripts havent yet had to deal with most of these problems.
1. When an account is deleted the upline not only looses any downline from the deleted account, but they also loose any and all prior earnings.
So when someone's been paid multiple times say 5 times @ $50 and the webmaster deletes all inactive accounts, that members account could go into a huge deficit.
deficit = negative balance.
I had to deal with numerous such situations, try to find the downlines, put them back if possible. Lost Thousands of members because of it.
Frank knew about this for a long long time, but was more interested in flooding the market with sites and filling his pocketbook than fixing the existing problem.
When he finally got out a fix update, it didn't work for me.
On the other hand, the Cash Crusader scripts are 100% correct
The mysql errors and server failures, are on the servers side.
SInce myecom doesn't just delete you for bandwidth exceeded and also because John's a genius when it comes to scripting, i'll never host anywhere.
He fixes problems immediately. He's human and every once in a while because he's always making FREE improvements, every once in a while an error crops up, so what, as soon as it's discovered it's fixed.
I launched mec-co-op 9 months ago. For 5 months i was stuck with the CAC scripts and was seriously thinking of throwing in the towel.
Had i had no other choice, i would have.
Thank god for the Cash Crusader Scripts, and John.
Another problem with the CAC scripts is that downlines were being looped multiple times, therefore say your actually had 500 in your downline, the CAC scripts showed 1500
so when one accout got deleted you lost 3
The earnings were also multiplied by 3-4 times costing the webmaster enormous amounts out of pocket.
I ran the scripts, when i call them crap it's because they are crap.
It's my opinion and i have every right to call them as i see them.
Just like you have a right to come into public forums and call programs scams etc.

I have been hearing alot of rumors that Frank is also working on the referral scripts as well so that members won't lose their downlines and earnings when someone quits.

The problem with looping referrals was fixed a long time ago.
We've also had an update installed that now moves referrals up and maintains earnings when a member is deleted or resigns. Having tested it this end all works fine.
As for CC scripts being 100% - sorry but that's just not true, many members know there is a problem regards crediting clicks correctly with CC scripts.
At the end of the day both CC and CAC programs still have their faults.

This may be to do with the timer - I have tested it and the CC timer actually works - its not a fake like some - you have to go through to account credited message to get credit. Some users may not appreciate this

Earners ,
When was the script corrected for maintaining a members upline ? And do all CAC owners get an update about that script upgrade and use it or is it optional ?

100% correct Andrew, i think too many members know that other script timers are cosmetic, so they don't wait for the message they've been paid, then they complain that they didn't get paid.
I still say John's scripts are 100:% i haven't found any problems in tracking yet.
I did almost have heart failure yesterday because i viewd some click logs, and there is a bug.
When i send a 1cent mail, the click log reports it as 1cent
But when i send a 10point mail, the click log reports it as 10cents
Really freaked me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AFter testing my own account and clicking a 1cent and a 10point, they were credited correctly.
So far, that's the only bug i found, and it affects nothing but a report.
I've told john about it.

The script modificatin that was made to our program was not from CAC but from a trusted programmer.
Having tested it on my own account it works perfectly.

It's unfortunate that when purchasing from CAC, webmasters have to go elsewhere to correct scripts.
That's what i've been saying all along.
None of the updates CAC worked for me, and some even made situation worse.

ya know poncer ~~>
I think ya can just trust Carole ( and take it at that )
my personal opinion ( she's a little high strung / proud ) but that just makes her more interesting ...
I shake my head at some of the things she does and smile *lol*
But ya know she works hard & so far (in my opinion ) hasn't sunk the ship and has weathered the mass pay out phase/cycle and even with that bit of added stress has ~ ~>
found ways to keep the CTR way Up there and find ads for us to click :)

It's not against the law to state your opinion or the facts as you
believe them to be ~~~~>
So leave Carole alone and take a Chill pill partner :)

I am Jay. I have stuck up for her lately. I haven't stuck up for her the last time because of another reason I think she will understand my feelings on that?

I just want to say here that I think Carole is terrific and not just because I have been paid by her. I believe in this program, if Carole wanted she could have given up long ago, especially after some of the things that's happened lately.

I agree, BaroqueXena. She obviously listens to what her members have to say, is good at communicating with them, and she's had to listen to a lot of flack lately and seems to be weathering it well. I really do like her.
