AhMoola - Dead
Ahmoola was primarily a paid e-mail program which also boasted a paid-to-click section. A recurring theme of the AhMoola legacy was continuous policy changes, designed to make it as difficult as possible for people to cashout their earnings. This would usually affect Non-US/Canadian members most, but members of all nationalities have reported problems.
Later in their lifespan, AhMoola switched to a paid-to-signup program, leaving thousands of members with unpaid earnings from their previous program.

Name: Dan Date: December 22, 2001 Comments: About 4 - 5 months ago I had enough to get paid from reading their e-mails. They then raised their minimum payout, they then raised their minimum payout rate two more times. Now that I have enough for their current payout back in November, they never sent payments as of December 22. Their first excuse was everyone had wrong e-mail addresses listed to pay out through Paypal and I don't remember what the other ones were.
Name: Cheryl Date: December 26, 2001 Comments: I got paid once from this program...and it was the biggest pain in the butt I have ever gone thru! I requested payment twice, each was denied (but they never told me). When I asked why they gave me some lame excuses. Finally on the third try I cashed out for what should have been just over $40. It took so long to get my payment that I wrote it off as wasted time. When I finally got my payment in the mail I found that they didn't send me a check for the $40+ that they owed me, instead I received a check for $10 and two pre-paid phone cards. If I had wanted the pre-paid phone cards I would have asked for them in the first place! They never have replied to my emails since then about why I wasn't paid correctly. Nor have they ever attempted to answer any other emails.
Name: jeanpaul Date: December 30, 2001 Comments: I was an international member (till today), in its FAQ say that the international members must send an email to internationalpayments@ahmoola.com with our name, id and address, this email came back with "550 unknow user". Also ahmoola send me today paid mails with 18 click 0.05 each one, its know that will not paid to me but send me emails to earn them. Thanks, and sorry, my english is very bad
Name: Kristin Date: December 30, 2001 Comments: Requested payment before July 31st via PayPal (before they raised their minimum payout). Never received it. They told me it was too difficult because I had a different email address to what I had joined up with, even though I noted it in the special comments box.
They have kept changing the rules again and again, and not sending out emails telling people. Only by chance did I see they are stopping ALL international members and all pymt requests have to be in by 31st December!! This says nothing about a minimum payout. I have told them (again) about my July pymt, and also have printed off my reports. This warning about the international sites is on the FAQ's page, and has been removed from the Members News page!!!! DODGY....
Name: Stacy Date: December 30, 2001 Comments: Alot of people feel they have been scammed or to say the least they are unsatisfied with ahmoola. I have done many attempts to try to get some kind of reply from ahmoola but to no success. A friend and I are doing massive research about them. We have decided to try something new. It seems that we all have tried (on our own) to respond with ahmoola and all get the same response...our emails come back undeliverable. So we've decided to try to get a group of at least 100 unsatisfied members, and as a group, demand a response. We will try via planetfeedback AS A GROUP, and if that doesnt work, we'll go thru snail mail, and if that still doesnt work, we'll contact their advertisers (again as a group) and let them know whats going on. If youre interested, or know someone who is, in becoming part of this group, email me and put ahmoola in the subject line. Tell me what you have experienced and why you are unsatisfied. Include your name and state. Thanks. Maybe together we can get to the bottom of this. My email is friendsnfreebies@yahoo.com
Name: cliffclark Date: January 8, 2002 Comments: I have had the same experience with ahmoola that everyone has had as of 1/01/2002 they owe me $35.65 and I have not seen a cent. According to there site I am owed $963+ I do not know what they mean by this I have sent them 5-6 emails in the last two weeks without any response asking what is going on.
Name: jim the internet smart guy Date: January 9, 2002 Comments: I didn't even reach the min payment amount and my account was totally empty! SCAM!
Name: Dora Date: January 19, 2002 Comments: Thanks for the warning. I just signed up the day before I found this site. I am cancelling my membership immediately. I hope they ask why on the form.
Name: pinkcadet Date: January 21, 2002 Comments: ahmoola records indicated i was owed nearly $700.00 ...i still dont know how they figured that! LOL Then suddenly my account was wiped clean without my knowledge or consent. Repeated emails go unanswered. Closing my account with ahmoola today...they are a total waste of time!
Name: Cliff Clark Date: January 22, 2002 Comments: This is posted on Ahmoola's website we will wait and see what happens by these dates. '01-03-2002: ahMoola network is currently processing ALL accounts for payment/rewards outstanding for 2001 - which had a balance of 25.00 or greater by December 31, 2001. You will notice that your account has been zeroed out. These payments/rewards are scheduled to be mailed by January 31, 2002. Accounts with balances less than 25.00 have also been zeroed out for year 2001 ending reporting. These payments/rewards are scheduled to be mailed by February 28, 2002.'
Name: Melissa Date: January 22, 2002 Comments: I am an international member (Australian) and read on their page that they were going to pay out their international members. I sent an email to the address provided, and then sent an email a month later to see if they have recieved it, that was 4 months ago and I still havent' heard back. Then I emailed them again 2 weeks ago, because I tried to log into my account and they have deleted it, without me knowing how much they owed me. If anyone needs help, targeting this company please email me at mel@ihug.com.au.
Name: QuarkBomb Date: January 22, 2002 Comments: Hi, I am an international member. When I saw their e-mail about stopping International Members, I contacted them asking them if they could pay out what they owed me before cancelling my account. I did not receive a reply but my account still exists and I continue to receive payments for e-mails.
Name: Ken Way Date: January 22, 2002 Comments: Ive been receiving ahmoola emails for many months. I have noticed the fact, that evweytime i approched a payout, they raised the amount to receive a check? In early Jan, 2001, i receved a email from ahmoola, stating, a payout to be sent out on or before the 31st of Jan, 2001. I went in and checked my balance, whuch showed $.45. I had a ton of money in there????? Something fishy here????? I'm not holding my breath for the check to come?????
Name: Ricki Date: February 2, 2002 Comments: I just received $26.13 from ahmoola today 2/2/2002
Name: Dave Gray Date: March 5, 2002 Comments: They have NEVER paid me in over 2 1/2 years...they sent a email saying a check was sent January 13/2002. Well it's March 5/2002..and NO check, they owe me $700.00 new
Name: Pat Rhoads Date: April 9, 2002 Comments: I have surpassed this companies payment threshold of $25 four times and they have never paid. I also spent countless hours getting referals. They won't respond to emails and just deleted my account! Definitely a SCAM!
Name: Lisa watson Date: April 15, 2002 Comments: they cheated me this past January by zeroing out my account and not sending me the money. Then theysaid they stopped reading emails regarding complaints about this. They cheated lots of people.
Name: Chris Houlihan Date: April 15, 2002 Comments: I've been a member since they launched and have reached payout several times and each time my account is debited, but I recieve NO type of check, paypal payment, gift certificate, or calling card.
Can you say scam?
Name: cliff clark Date: April 16, 2002 Comments: Ahmoola should be readded back in beginning March they had changed the way they did their emails and promised no minimum every quarter In the beginning of April,1,2 they notified everyone that unless you had $1.00 earned you would not get paid every quarter your stats get reset.
Name: Maureen Roberts Date: April 16, 2002 Comments: Has anyone received payment from this company. I worked hard with the paid to read emails, and had around $33. At the end of December it 'dissapeared' from my account, and they sent out a newsletter saying cheques had been sent. Well I never got mine, and they do not answer emails, no matter how many you send. They have changed now to a points system, but still don't pay. I stayed with them just to see if maybe there had been an error, but still no payment, and no replies. Has anyone out there been lucky enough to get paid by them?
I even opened a Paypal account, which I didn't have before, so they had no excuses, but still no payment, and still no replies to my emails. Hey guys, this is a brill
site. Luv it.
Name: Peg Date: April 19, 2002 Comments: I never did get anything from them. they emptied my account.
Name: Scooter Date: April 21, 2002 Comments: I've been a member of this SCAM from the start. They screwed mo over 3 times, never answered any payment requests, never answered one email !...I am still a member for one reason only. If every person that was burned by them were to contact their advertisers and inform them of Ahmoola's scamming record, it may help remove scum from the internet...Who knows, maybe a person should re-join just for this purpose.
Name: Alyssa Gillespie Date: April 21, 2002 Comments: I have been a member of ahmoolha for a year now and have reached the payout limit twice but have not recieved any money i contacted them many times about this but they just keep ignoring me.
Name: Cindy Date: April 22, 2002 Comments: I also was never paid and my referrers also. They never respond to emails is there anything we can do?
Name: LJ Daniel Date: April 23, 2002 Comments: I too was never paid a dime from last year. I was a member over a year - had several referrals also. Then they say that the payout rates were "inflated" by a "hacker". Don't think I'll ever see a dime of the money I'm owed. Plus, with the # of emails sent, without a lot of referrals you'll NEVER get to the minimum payout required to not lose the points that their new system uses. What a scam.
Name: Greg West Date: April 28, 2002 Comments: Qualified for payment in October (I think). Thats when I received email about changing from points system to real $. Raised limit to $25. Well qualified for payment again in Dec, 2001. Received email about changing back to points system again, and all checks owed would be sent. Well its April 27, and still no check. I no longer read their mail, but have not cancelled account on slim chance they may actually do what they say.
Name: Janet Lillis Date: April 28, 2002 Comments: I have been a member for over a year and have received nothing. I have responded to every email they've sent and even joined paid sign ups in the beginning. They owe me hundreds. I have a print out of what they owe me thru August 2001. The have responded to some of my emails. They have so many excuses. They say they sent the money. The didn't. They say the amounts were inflatted and incorrect. These balances were carried for months. This claim was made by them after they apparently were being run by new owners. I think the best way to get back at them is to just not respond to the emails, and to contact each advertiser that is dealing with them. I almost did it tonight, but wanted to see what others are still saying about them. I just can't buy their excuses, and I don't think they should be able to pockent all the money we are making. I didn't sign on to make all the money for them. I'd love to know what everybody thinks about not responding to their email ads and just sending notices to the advertisers.
Name: Brenda Date: April 30, 2002 Comments: They never paid me either. They don't respond to my emails where I am simply asking for an explanation.
Name: Donna Date: May 1, 2002 Comments: I had reached the minimum but the payment went the way of the dinosaur. ( The excuse was a hacker ran up everyones accounts. OK, maybe if the accounts look outrageous, but just barely the minimum??? Come on folks!! They must think we are pure idiots!!) I don't even bother emailing these people. I've heard all the lies I care to from these types of programs!
Name: sbates70 Date: May 1, 2002 Comments: I had over 900.00 in my account and I noticed that my account was cleaned. I have not received any money from this company. I am still with this company. I will dete my account today.
Name: geoffrey Date: May 12, 2002 Comments: I've requested cashout in June 2001. Minimum cashout was 15$. I never been paid ...I've reached a second time the minimum cashout in october ...
Then they said that they will not pay members for 2001.
I'm international member and i continue to received email from this company ! A real scam !
Name: jenpmar Date: May 14, 2002 Comments: I too have requested payment and never recieved it. I got back a letter stating that someone had hacked into the program and had changed how much we really are owed. Bulls**t. They just don't want to pay out...
Name: Proline777 Date: May 14, 2002 Comments: I had emough points accumulated that I should have been paid. Nothing ever happend. I requested information 7 times as to why I had not received payment. What finally got their attention is I cc it 25 times. Their responce was the system got hacked and the hacker added points tp all users accounts. Yeah right! I sent an email in today with a link to this site.
Name: Grant Koch Date: May 27, 2002 Comments: Everyone should read there new TOS its such a joke.If after3 months you don't have enough to cash out you lose it they won't carry it over And at my figures no one will reach itnew
Name: Brian Date: July 2, 2002 Comments: Been a member of Ahmoola for about 2 years, must have clicked on a couple of thousand links, referred quite a few referrals, yet never received a single cent...A pure JOKE of a program.
Name: Marshall Date: July 6, 2002 Comments: The Tracking Provider of Ahmoola.com has shut them down. Ahmoola owes me alot of $$. In January of 2002 I received a email stating that since I didn't have enough money to make minium payout that all of my points would be wiped away and I would have to start all over again. I sent Ahmoola 6 emails requesting the reason for this and I have yet to receive a reply.
Name: mudslide Date: July 24, 2002 Comments: ahmoola sent me thru Paypal .37 for the offer in one of their emails. I did this only to test them. They say they are making payments for each and every offer. $.37 isn't a lot, but they did pay me for the one and only offer I did. They don't do pay for email anymore, I know. But, hey I'm going to sign up with for another offer and see if I get another Paypal payment or not. I won't hold my breath, I'm going to test it out. They owe me about 18.00 from pay emails from before though.
Name: Jo wenden Date: August 3, 2002 Comments: I have still to be paid for the WHOLE of 2001 and for what I had earned for 2002. I have e-mailed their support address (which you can no longer get from the website. Funny that!) but all I got was the usual 'no-loop' answer. Non of the links in the no-loop work, so I emailed them again today asking for an answer, my money, ANYthing. I got an undeliverable report due to the size of their mailbox exceeding the limits. Sound to me as if they are ignoring ALL queries. I only had about 25ish, but that's not the point. I want my money.
Name: Tanya Date: January 7, 2003 Comments: I had read e-mails through ahmoola for over a year and had enough money to cash out but they wiped out my account. I hope no one supports the bums now. If they cant pay former users they should shut down their site all together.
Name: Craig Date: January 19, 2003 Comments: They never paid out my 2001 balance despite a series of form emails saying they would and then it never happening. They've never replied to any email I've sent them and never sent any money. Looks like total fraud to me.
Also, their web site appears to be non-existent today. Maybe their ISP's finally pulled the plug on them?
Name: Jimmy Byas Date: January 27, 2003 Comments: They sent me emails several times saying they would pay me but they never sent a check or any kind of payment and they sure did lie a lot and change what they said a lot.It makes you think did they pre plan all this I have heard of companies doing this so the get you to read thier emails and possibly buy from the and then they do not pay ,well this is fraud ,if that is the case,I wounder if I will ever get paid .
Name: Alex Kristensen Date: February 6, 2003 Comments: I've tried their new sign-up program - they did not credit - and do not answer my mails - this is a SCAM - Glad to see that their website is gone.
Name: carole Date: April 12, 2003 Comments: i had the same experiences as all of the above. no payment, account wiped clean, stories of a hacker. i reached payout several times, but nothing. i quit them a long time ago. i hope everyone quits them.
Name: dinesh joshi Date: May 15, 2003 Comments: i had the same experiences as all of the above. no payment, account wiped clean, stories of a hacker. i reached payout several times, but nothing. i quit them a long time ago. i hope everyone quits them.
Name: Sharon S. Date: July 24, 2003 Comments: I was an international member from Canada. I reached the payout ammount and tried everything in my power to get paid by them to no avail. There was nothing ever said about international members being disallowed from the site, but when I tried to get paid, they said I couldn't because I wasn't from the US. Yet they kept sending me e-mails. I quit the site years ago and would never go back.
Name: bill Date: October 10, 2003 Comments: hey ya'll
ahmoola owed me over $250 as at dec 2001 and $329 as at june 2002 but as u can guess i still didn't get paid.
