Ugains is a paid e-mail site offering e-mails worth 0.25-0.8 cents and a low $2 payout minimum. The site also proudly boasts that payments are made "within 7 business days", though the complaints which follow show this not to be the case.
The reason that Ugains is on the boycott list is the non-payment of members. The complaints below detail how members who have reached the minimum payout amount are not being paid according to the site's own Terms of Service. Some of those members have had their accounts deleted. Support e-mails have not been responded to, members have not been paid, and so this program rightly belongs on the boycott list.

After examining WHOIS records, it is believed that the owner of Ugains also owns BizBizs, MyBizs, and Ubizs.
For the reasons above, and the complaints listed below, Ugains has been boycotted!

Name: Kathy Date: January 12, 2008 Comments: When I reached the $2.00 payout I sent in my request. After two days I checked the front page listing all the people they have paid and saw my name, however, I never received any funds in my account. I contacted them again, but no reply. They are cheaters and scammers!
Name: Keith Walter Date: December 19, 2006 Comments: I joined this site and did NOT optin for searches but these were the only emails I received. I logged in one day and was told that my account was suspended - no reply to my emails aking why this was so. Another dubious site!!

Name: Ryan Tomlinson Date: April 25, 2007 Comments: I have requested a payout 3 weeks ago of $2. They normally pay within 24 hours. Well, this time, they haven't paid up yet and are refusing to accept paypal bills and refusing to respond to email enquiries. My last request was done a few days back.. In total the amount owing is $4. As you can see in the screen shot, they deducted the funds, but, didn't pay.

I never received payment and there has never been any sort of response to my frequent mails asking what is going on. This site is also related to www.mybizs.com, www.ubizs.com and www.bizbizs.com. Out of the four, the only site that has ever paid me is mybizs.
According to other forums that I've been reading, Ugains pays, sometimes. But usually very slowly, with members reaching cashout multiple times before payment is sent. As a result, a member never knows which cashout he's receiving payment for, and the site owner is walking away with our money.

Name: Elizabeth Date: July 19, 2007 Comments: Reached payout and submitted for cashout. Never received payout after almost 2 months even though they promise on the front page to pay within 2 business days. Wrote repeatedly by their email and their contact form with no response from them.

I have contacted them several times about my payouts but never get a reply. I think this is one of those site they pay you a couple of times quick just to hook you, you keep clicking on their emails then all of a sudden they stop paying.

On 2/1/08 I sent a 2nd email, using their special guidelines. I had also notified them that my account showed erroneous multiple payouts on 1/21, none of whih were received. I never received any response from them. I had previously left another site from this owner for the same lack of payment/lack of response issue

Name: Ryan Tomlinson Date: March 28, 2008 Comments: As to this day, from my previous complaint, I have recieved payments within 72 hours, but, that other $2 is still missing. They have not paid me. They will not answer to email enquiries at all. Their other sites, Mybizs, Ubizs and a few others should be boycotted automatically for the same reasons.

Name: Ryan Tomlinson Date: April 23, 2008 Comments: Since my last complaint, Ugains has decided to sent out tonnes of PTP ads. I did not opt in for PTP because of issues of virus'.. I have sent the PO an email to stop sending me PTP emails because I don't want them, and I got more.. I also requested information of how many points are needed to advertise since I have over 4,400 points, and still no response in 2 weeks. This program needs to be shut down.
