Boycott Numenmail!

Date Boycotted: 16-04-2007
URL: http://www.numenmail.com

NumenMail is a primarily a paid e-mail program, offering e-mails worth $80, a $8888 payout and a four level referral structure. The front page of the site proclaims that "all honest members will be paid" - a claim which, as can be seen from our complaints below, is not true.

The first reason NumenMail is boycotted is the non-payment of its members. Despite their claims of "Fast Payments For Honest Members", it is clear from the complaints below that this site does not pay its members, and has no intention of paying its members in the future. One must therefore assume that the total payouts claimed by NumenMail of over $837,000,000 are a fabrication.

The second reason NumenMail is boycotted is the patent unsustainability of the site. Any site offering to pay such unrealistic sums for reading e-mails is not at all likely to pay its members. GPTBoycott urges its visitors to refer to sustanability principles when deciding which programs to be a member of. To find out more about sustainability, please visit our sustainability area. It should be clear that any program which offers to sell an $80 e-mail to over 160,000 members for just $5 must have no intention of paying its members. It should also be clear that such business practices warrant a boycott of this site.

For the reasons above, and the complaints listed below, NumenMail has been boycotted!

Discuss this boycott at: http://www.gptboycott.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=118.

Date: August 13, 2008
Comments: Numenmail was the first site I had ever heard of that offered to pay you to read e-mails. I thought maybe it was possible that advertisers paid enough to make their member payouts feasible, but was always skeptical. I was very close to reaching the $8800 minimum payout when I decided to finally research the site, and found this boycott page. Just cancelled my account. Thank you all very much for saving me the headache of messing with this any longer!

Comments: I honestly don't understand why people would fall for such a scam. Or why people believe they should sue because they clicked maybe twenty emails to get $8,000 dollars. We're not in Fairy Tale Land. Everyone who fell for this is gullible, and I'm sorry- but please don't expect to sue.

Comments: Just like Boffopaidmail I suffered the same way requested payout once and redeemed my cash for ads which was never processed. I contacted them on many ocassions and they never reply. The only reply I received from them was when I paid my upgrade. I must add the boffopaidmail and NumenMail upgrades are paid to the same person. Beware of this site. They are scams.

Name: Donald Blessing
Date: January 7, 2007
Comments: I have been a member of this PTR for over 2 years, and have requested payment on 6 different occasions. To date, nothing has been paid to me. On their website, for payments they state that: "Payments: Members may earn by receiving paid-emails and visiting the advertiser websites after they have entered their member ID in the area on the website provided by numenmail.com. Members may earn by referring new members to the numenmail.com program. Members will earn a percentage of advertising revenues collected by numenmail.com. Members will be paid via PayPal / eGold. numenmail.com will pay members when their balance reaches the minimum payout rate set by numenmail.com. Once the member has reached payout they may request payment. Payments will be made within 30 days or a reasonable time after." Nothing has been recieved by myself, nor any reason that payment has been sent, even after repeated attempts of contact to the owner/web master. I do realize that the owner is paid first from the profits collected, but there is no reason to not respond to repeated attempts to collect on a payment that is rightfully mine (by their own web site information).

Comments: I had requested payment on November 15th, 2006. It is now December 22nd, 2006 and i still have not received a check yet!! It only takes 30 days from the date you request payment, i doubt if i will ever receive any money from them!!! I sent emails to them regarding this matter, but have not gotten any replies!! Something really needs to be done about these online companies!!!

Comments: Unsustainable/Unrealistic Type Site

Name: Kathleen
Date: May 2, 2006
Comments: Been asking for payout for 8 months. My balance showed that I was paidout but no payment ever received in actual account. Sent 5 emails to support. No answer.

Name: Angel Langner
Date: April 7, 2006
Comments: I'm still registered as a member in the unrealistic hope that I will one day be paid. I did everything required and should have received 2 separate payouts. I have not received either one. I have contacted the company via their contact form on 4 occasions and have never received a reply. I've been nice, I've said I understand if there's a backlog, just to let me know if I will ever be receiving payment from them. No response. I still get their emails, I simply delete them because obviously they are a waste of time.

Comments: This company is AGAIN based in China and does not answer e-mails or pay its members. The webmaster is La Jujua, No. 551 Shihudang, Songjiang, Shanghai, 201604, China. From the bad publicity about this website throughout the Internet, I gather I am not the only person who has not been paid. All e-mails, whatever the subject, go unanswered. This is definitely a 'scam' site and I would like other people to be warned about it.

Name: Kel Williams

Name: Lisa Coady
Date: December 10, 2004
Comments: Non paying site. I made payout in less than two weeks, which in itself sets off alarm bells, and knew I wouldn't get paid as the amount was ridiculous - $8888, and I wanted to be able to prove that the site was fraudulent as like a lot of things it did sound too good to be true.

Name: Christopher Harris
Date: November 16, 2004
Comments: Works like 30dollarsmail, No replies to e-mails, No support for memers, no real cashout, just stall and send plenty of paid e-mails you never get paid for.

Name: Cris
Date: November 11, 2004
Comments: $88 per email; $8888 cashout; where the hell they will get the money to pay the each of their thousands of members? and they are displaying payouts amounting $65,000,000??!!
