Boycott IppoMails!

Date Boycotted: 13-03-2008
URL: http://www.ippomails.net

IppoMails is a paid e-mail site offering a signup bonus of $20000, e-mails worth $2000 and a $1000 minimum payout. The site's Terms state that payments will be made "within 30-90 days or a reasonable time after", though the complaints which follow show this not to be the case.

The first reason that IppoMails is on the boycott list is simply the non-payment of members. The complaints below detail how members who have reached the minimum payout amount are not being paid according to the site's own Terms of Service. Support e-mails have not been responded to, members have not been paid, and so this program rightly belongs on the boycott list.

The second reason that IppoMails is boycotted is the use of deceptive business practices. Hidden within the site's Help/FAQ is the statement that "on payouts we transfer 70% our monthly profits from advertise [sic]. That amount we share by members, who have requested payout". The page also states, in response to the question "If I am watching an advertising and I credited 200Euro or $200USD to account - is seems that I earned real money? [sic]" that "No. In our program 200Euro or $200USD seems you earned 200 points [sic]". No mention of these important Terms is made on the front page or the sign up page of the site. It is quite clear that these important Terms have been hidden within the Help/FAQ page of the IppoMails site in order to deceive potential members about the amount it is possible to earn with the site.

The third reason IppoMails is boycotted is the patent unsustainability of the site. Any site offering to pay such unrealistic sums for reading e-mails is not at all likely to pay its members. GPTBoycott urges its visitors to refer to sustanability principles when deciding which programs to be a member of. To find out more about sustainability, please visit our sustainability area. It should be clear that any program which offers to sell a $2000 paid e-mail to over 6,000 members for just $2.00 must have no intention of paying its members. It should also be clear that such business practices warrant a boycott of this site.

Other Sites with the Same Owner

After examining sources online, it is believed that the owner of PTR-Trading also owns the following sites:
200euromails.net, silvanamails.net, maystromails.net, ptr-trading.com, chobitsmails.net, atom-mails.com, dj-mails.com, digital-ptr.com, 7thheavenptr.net, megaptr.com, road-mails.com, power-mails.net, holiday-mails.com, sunflowersptr.com, boss-mails.com, emails-empire.com, honestptr.com, expert-mails.com, euro-emails.com, 25dollarsmail.com, western-mails.com, getor-mails.com, ptr-enterprise.com, ulti-mails.com.

For the reasons above, and the complaints listed below, IppoMails has been boycotted!

Comments: I have been a member since early last fall (2007). I have reached the payout and requested the same many times. I got an email from a gentleman using a yahoo address informing me to bear with them. That this is being used as a reverse type of retirement? I checked on the reverse retirement thing and find it could be feasible. But is it illegal? Otherwise why don't they state this in their terms and conditions?

Name: Tiffany D. Porter
Date: April 23, 2008
Comments: I had reached payout with them last year. I reached payout with them about 7 to 8 times. They never paid me during those times at all. I wasted time on the computer that I could have been doing on something else that was worth my time. The time frame which they said they would pay me, never happened. I waited and waited, still no results. I have even contacted them, and asked about my payout, but they never contacted me back. They had a been paid list, but they never gave me my money. I was a free member.
