Accepting members from Australia, Canada, United Kingdom and United States, GGMails claims to be a "paid-to-read" program, alleging to offer "paid-to-read" e-mails and "paid-to-click" ads. GGMails also claims to send 50-80 e-mails to active members daily. These e-mails, according to GGMails, are worth from 0.5 cent to 2 cents, with bonuses for good searchers.

Having received complaints implying forced searches, one of which included a denial of same from the program owner, this staff writer joined the program to gain first-hand information. After one week, this staff writer had received ten e-mails, eight of which were re-sends of two original links. The total value of links credited was less than 1/2 cent. Of the links sent, ALL were searches. The "paid-to-click" section was void of ads the last time this staff writer logged in. It is the opinion of this staff writer that the complaints claiming "forced" searches are valid, as this writer has, to date, received no other advertisements. In addition, the site's front page indicates $5 payout; however, the site's FAQs states: "You may request payment after you have earned $2." Confusing, at best.

For the reasons above, and the complaints listed below, GGMails has been boycotted!

Comments: Once I have reached the $5.00 payout the request button appeared in a highlighted blue color and when I clicked the payout the message said we will contact you soon. My payout date was 3-26-09; it has been three days. To make matters worse my user ID is posted in their "been paid" area. I believe that it just shows people who have asked for payment and have not received it. I have written to them and the message said we will contact you soon. I will stick to the BeenPaid site from now on.

Comments: finally! I was a member of GG for a long time they always paid until this new WM took over-same probs as evryone else, no valid search,poor response to emails,not paid etc etc. Good riddance!!!! Lets get rid of as many of these bad eggs as we can!!

Comments: After I reached payout, the webmaster decided that I hadn't searched at all. No other webmasters complain, but this one seems to use this as an excuse not to pay. Look at their paid list and compare that to the number of members. Very few are paid. One of my downline complained to me that she wasn't paid either.

Comments: the day after i requested my first payout i found i cudnt access my account andi have emailed them a few times still with no reply it says when i request log in info no email found in data base so when i tried to register it as a new account it says email already in database ?

Comments: I requested a $5.00 payment from them on 1/24/08 and the next day I couldn't log on to my account. They apparently deleted me rather than pay me. I've emailed them several times with no response.

Comments: my earnings were taken by this site, even though i have always done at least 95% of the searches, they just took my money and did not pay me and now i only get 1-2 mails a day where i used to get 40 or so, they also have on the member page that the gptboycott is hurting there business, well i see as if you dont have anything to hide why be worried about it, they are asking their members to write in a good report about them. i would have if they didnt take my money.

Comments: Not paying within 2 days as stated on their FAQs page or the 30 days listed on their Terms page. Also, forcing people to search. If you don't search, the emaount of emails you receive is reduced to 2 per day.

Comments: I have been doing all the searches, despite the fact that I don't need to. Well, I hit the $5 payout, and requested the funds through paypal.. Well, he (PO) had the nerve to respond with the following message:

GGmails only pay all honest search member, No valid search, can't be paid.

Our demand for the search paid mail is below:

(2)Must make valid searching. 80% of the paid mail are belong to us, so that we will check them carefully.Any proxy will be detect and the member who use proxy will be delete immediately.
(3)We don't force member to search, But we just send search email to member who make valid search.
Don't do the valid search. Not CLICK search mails.
( 4)Click search mails.Don't do the valid search.so I suffer from lose.I am sorry to tell you that I will cancel your $$$"
[Update 2007-07-13]: In addition to my formal complaint, he has now cancelled my account.. So, he has stolen my earnings as well. I think this is good enough for boycott.

Comments: They said that I didn't do a valid search and won't pay. I unscribed to their site because I had done a valid search. I am still getting emails from them and now I cannot unscribe to them because they put my account into the hole. On their site it says that the server was attaced by a hacker and they are "working" to recover the data.
