FairyTalePTR is a paid e-mail site offering e-mails between 0.5 and 5 cents, no minimum activity requirements, and a $3 payout minimum. The site also proudly boasts that "Payment[s are] made within 48 hrs via PayPal", though the complaints which follow show this not to be the case.
The reason that FairytalePTR is on the boycott list is simply the non-payment of members. The complaints below detail how members who have reached the minimum payout amount are not being paid according to the site's own Terms of Service. Support e-mails have not been responded to, members have not been paid, and so this program rightly belongs on the boycott list.
For the reasons above, and the complaints listed below, FairyTalePTR has been boycotted!
Name: Melissa Miller Date: March 19, 2007 Comments: I earned $3 with this program and requested payment to my Paypal on 3-5-2007. Their home page says that payment will be sent within 48 hours, but my Paypal was never credited. I have sent two emails to them via their contact page, asking what the deal is, but have received no response. I have a few people on my downline, and I'll feel really bad for referring them to a program that isn't paying.
Name: Susan J. De Lano Date: April 22, 2007 Comments: Have requested payments ($9.00) 4x now and have not recieved any of the 3 payments of $3.00 each. They show that they have paid, but I have recieved nothing in my Paypal account. I have double checked to be sure that I have given them the correct account on my Paypal, and it is correct. This has been going on for 3 months now.

Have emailed WM with no response. A few people who requested payment after me are posting that they have been paid by this site. I was an active searcher in this program and am still continuing to receive almost 40 emails daily so they can not use the excuse that i am not an active searcher.

Name: Halcyon Date: April 1, 2007 Comments: I joined fairytaleptr and after about a month I reached the minimum payout and requested a payment. Two weeks later I still didn't receive anything so I emailed the owner and they never responded. The beenpaid list on fairytaleptr displays a list of payment requests but not necessarily payments that have been made. Still no payment or response from owner so I left the site. Looks like a scam to me!

Perhaps the WM's english is limited - however when promoting to North America where the majority of the population speaks english - one has to wonder... perhaps they just don't care that people with disabilities try to earn an income (albeit small) on-line...
