DreamStarMail is a paid e-mail site offering four referral levels, e-mails worth between 5 and 20 cents, and a $150 payout minimum. This site is a classic example of an unsustainable site, which has no chance of paying any of its members. Yet, this site still boasts over 57,000 members at the time of writing.
The reasons that DreamStarMail is on the boycott list are non-payment of members, non-response to support e-mails and unsustainability. The complaints below detail how members who have reached the minimum payout amount are not being paid according to the site's own Terms of Service. Support e-mails have not been responded to, members have not been paid, and so this program rightly belongs on the boycott list.

After examining WHOIS records and other sources, it is believed that the owner of DreamStarMail also owns LightStarMail and SuperStarMail.
For the reasons above, and the complaints listed below, DreamStarMail has been boycotted!

I had emailed the owner several times & got no results and now, the website has disappeared. Is there not a legal way to remove the website as a ptc company? I wish I had known about GTPboycott, before agreeing to sign up with dreamstar.

Name: Erin Date: November 25, 2007 Comments: I've been a member long enough to get to two payouts, so over $300 earned, and I've never been paid. As everyone else has said, all attempts to contact them at any of their sites results in either bounced contacts or just no response.

Name: Jain Date: December 27, 2004 Comments: This company is based in China and also owns and runs Lightstarmail.com. In both cases the owner, Yu Suyi does not answer e-mails and does not pay his members. I assume as he's based in China he feels safe.
He also runs another scam where he informs you that you have won $100 but first you have to pay $8.75 to become a Gold Member before you can claim your prize. He obviously has no intentions of paying any of his members, but earns money himself that his advertisers pay him. I feel he should be on your Watch List as both Dreamstarmail and Lightstarmail, and eventualy onto your Black List.

I have emailed the PO regarding my payout and he/she has continuously ingored my emails and obviously is refusing to pay me. They obviously have money or else they couldn't send out 5 cent links all the time. this Program needs to be boycotted
Name: Lynn Date: December 5, 2004 Comments: no contact all contact mails report the mail box is full no way to contact owner at all, all mail bounces I redeemed earrnings to upgrade to a diamond membership and cannot submit monthly ads as per upgrade, my account now shows that the money used to upgrade is listed as a diamond member cashout I redeemed to upgrade so with their posting the 60 dollars as a diamond member cashout I have not been upgraded and lose the $60 this program has not paid anyone and many members have complained about the inability to contact the owner

Name: Patty Date: February 24, 2004 Comments: I paid for advertising on this site trough PayPal. I got a confirmation that he accepted the money, bute he never gave me any advertise. I emailed him to ask him what was the matter and how I had to send my advertising URL. No answer. I mailed again, no answer, I mailed again to ask him my money back because he did not give any response, and you guesed it, NOW ANSWER, nothing at all!!! He has my money, but I get nothing in return. I think this is no honest webmaster.
