CherokeePTR is primarily a paid e-mail site offering paid e-mails worth at least one cent, paid clicks, and five referral levels. The site's Help page notes that payments are made "within 60 days or a reasonable time after", though the complaints which follow show this not to be the case.

The reason that CherokeePTR is on the boycott list is the non-payment of members. The complaints below detail how members who have reached the minimum payout amount are not being paid according to the site's own Terms of Service. Some of those members have had their accounts deleted. Support e-mails have not been responded to, members have not been paid, and so this program rightly belongs on the boycott list.

For the reasons above, and the complaints listed below, CherokeePTR has been boycotted!

Comments: I received 20.00 in payouts over a year ago. When asked when payouts were going to resume I kept getting told different stories. I finally told them I refuse to click if I can't get paid what I'm already owed. They left my accounts alone for a long time but then when I went to check on them to see what they'd done I was deleted out of all of them (I was in 20). Apparently they believe that you should keep clicking even when they owe you over 450.00. They did put me back in a few of them after I im'd them and complained but I haven't bothered checking since I know I'll never see the money. Hmmm, come to think of it at the end of this year it will be 2 years since I've gotten any money. They need to be boycotted and banned from all sites. Maybe if they can't advertise at all they'll get the hint.

Comments: they will not pay I'm a paid member and a very active member home page states that active members will be paid first this has been going now for days when requested pay out I had $14 the min for free mems there was 60 ahead of me that went for on for 30 days kept doing the e-mails when checked bal there was $62when I checked the pay out there was 217 ahead of me paid for upgrade out of earnings so I could get paid sooner still nothing for them when I contact them they say they will contact me soon still nothing now I'm just POed

been paid list shows that they pay a selective few members they the same one random payouts and regular payouts as well ,I have watched my payout request get pushed back from 180 to 240 to 247 the last was 248 as I was was signed in watching it my pay request went from 30 days old to when I first requested pay to 60 days no shows 17 days old

Comments: Sir, I want to report to this esteemed forum about Tanya’s ptrs which are about 14 or so. I am founder member of one site and gold member of all of them and on each ptr site I have a balance of 20 to 40 dollars pending payment for a number of days ranging from 370 days+. Initially, she paid me a few dollars on a one or two occasions, but subsequently, the payments stopped. Out of 14 sites of which I was member, may name has been deleted on almost all of them except in 3 to 4 sites. The total members on all the sites range from 150 to less than 400 only. I am giving below snap shots of my account taken today which are revealing and self-evident. Kindly take suitable action against this site, if not already taken. “”Message Sent at 5 30 hrs. IST on 16Mar08 from Penguin Passion site: Madam, I was member of all your sites, a gold member and on Cherokee a founder member. On many sites, my name has been removed/deleted. Comments: I can not see for the life of me why any program owned by Tanya/Tasha Cambell/Hiltz would not be boycotted. She disappeared at one time and left many , many members hanging and never paid any of those members and many lost alot of paid upgrades as well. Then she comes back and her own forum "Cherokee Treasure Forum" contains tons of compliants from members waiting months and months for payouts and then her and her admins claiming the payments were sent, but months later nothing has been received. she fraudentily carried the ptrpolice emblem and was asked to remove that and the verified seal from Paypal as well. This person is an outright scammer and has proven that they will continue to be one.

Comments: I was a member in good standing with melis wampum which was bought by one Tanya Hiltz. On 12.1.04 I was informed by Line Tremblay that all accounts had been Zeroed out and the site debt cleared. She further stated to me it was a Team decision to do this. I told her I felt this was quiet unfair as I understood that Tanya had agreed to accept site debt. My account showed a comission payment of $10.83 which I never recieved. As I write this it appears they are once again monkeying with the scripts. I Know I am not suppose to say this but I cannot help myself This is one of the biggest ripoffs since ET of course Line obtained her training from ET and learned from a master of deciept. (So sorry) just had to say that.

Comments: Good Evening from Australia, I wish to advize that the program known as, apparently only from the 20th. of November, 2004, known as cherokeeptr.com., previously www.meliswampum.com, has removed my earnings of $50.35 approx. and points of approx., 799,000, but I claimed payout on 26th. November, 2004, and had an independant Program Owner in Australia, take a screenshot of my actual figures on my account.then a few days ago, because of possible mistrust of the new Owner Tanya Hiltz, who it now appears has an ? half owner, Line Tremblay the PO of Northernnanukptr.com, I find now, that not only have my cash and points been removed from "my" account, but apparently all the other members of Meliswampum, have also had the same treatment. The and I assume she is registered with whomever she needs to be, but I do not know places to check. I am so so suspicicious that Tanya and Line have only had the site since 20h. Nov. 2004, and earlier my today, Saturday 4/12/04, I saw that she/they were claiming to have just over 400 members, and already had paid to them, justover $2,000.00, when i know very well that i claimed from my earnings of $50.35, saw a deduction for $30, which is chief member payout, the next time i look i no longer have 799,000? (sorry forget exact no.) and no $20, and cents, but only few cents, then i see, cash debits in the cc script, lol, commission payment of $30.00, and definitely no conversion of points to cash, but i heaven thank you, have my downline of over 160 showing. If Tanya and Line have done this to all 300+ meliswampum members, may I ask what they may do in the future. Comments: I was member of MeliSwampum and when Meli sold her site to Tany, she should change the name, the look but nothing else. Without letting her members know, she put our earnings to 0 first. I asked her to know what happend to my $4.88 but no answer and now I can't log in anymore (invalid username or password and my email address isn't in the database). So I wrote her again to ask about that and posted a message on http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cherokeeptr/messages, but I think she read them before to post them cause I didn't see them in the message page :( It seems she didn't answer to some other people and deleted their accounts too.
