Boycott CashFiesta!

Date Boycotted: Before 2007
URL: http://www.cashfiesta.com

CashFiesta is a site promising "up to $1.00 per hour for being online", and offering the opportunity to "make over $200 in 15 minutes just by signing up to Special Offers". However, many of our complainants have found that once they reach the required minimum payout amount, Cashfiesta have not fulfilled their obligation to pay them.

The complaints we have received, and the forum posts made while the site was in a phase of unboycott indicate a trend of account deletions, false accusations of cheating, and deductions from accounts. Attempts to argue or appeal against these decisions have been often met with non-response from Cashfiesta, and where they have replied no evidence or further explanation is given.

For the reasons above, and the complaints listed below, CashFiesta has been boycotted!

Comments: i have been running cash fiesta with 103 referrals under me since mid march 2001 and it works fine with windows me and xp.. will see about pay.. they are fairly new so maybe you all should give them a good chance..they currently are upgradeing thier system ..

Comments: I tried surfing with their surf bar and regularly lost lots of points. It would hang on closing, and wouldn't save a whole session. Their support only replied 'I am so sorry it has happened to you.' and while they did give a more detailed explanation, they never gave me any points back at all. I lost 10,000 points until I gave up on them.

Comments: I was a member of their program from the start up. Managed to get a huge downline and when I finally a year or so later got enough money to cash out...they said I had violated their TOS. They never answered emails to prove what I had done. I think they are an absolute scam and advise anyone still with them to be very careful.

Comments: I was a member of cashfiest from the very start and quickly got a nice downline of around 250 people. After about 6 months of active surfing and of my downline actively surfing I had about $800 worth of points in my account. I attempted to get payment by using the payment option they had at the time. Couple of weeks later I went to check on my account status because when I loaded up the bar it didn't work, to my suprise my account information didn't work and in a attempt to get my password sent by email my account name was said to be invalid. Never got any notification from cashfiesta or anything on the matter and never got a response to my email asking what happened to my account. I however did go over to a friends house a month or so after that and he showed me his account was still working ( I was on his third level ). He still had the same amount of referals under him that he did when my account was active so it appears as if cashfiesta doesn't accurrately show downlines. To top it off not a single person of that 190 or so that were under my friends downline actively surfed even though another friend was signed up under him and was actively surfing at the time. Cashfiesta's response at the time was that no one in the downline was active even though we knew better.

Comments: I've been a member for several years, their bar does not accumulate points correctly, they are NOT a new program. I know several other people who have problems with the CashFiesta. We are all experienced surfers.

Comments: I've been a member for two months, just wanted to test if they pay or not (heard both positive and negative comments on them). Today I got an email stating that all my points have been nullified (over 70,000) because I have been using 'fraudulent methods'. And I have NOT been using any 'fraudulent methods', all I've done is run their adbar for a month. Well, there ya go.

Comments: Their program doesn't work correctly. The only thing you can do is to logout and login on your surfbar every 3 minutes or so. This way you will not loose too many points. :)

Comments: Their a lot of comments about their add bar having technical problems , but I found it to be very stable and practical, though it occasionally loses contact with it's servers but this is part of the game.

Comments: I actively surfed using Cashfiesta for about a year. When I finally reached $30, I requested payment. I was told that my account was closed because I cheated. They could not tell me how I cheated because it was priviledged information. I contacted Better Business and Cashfiesta did not respond. There were 9 other claims pending at the time.

Comments: I had hit the pay out rate twice with cashfiesta and both times I was told that the calculations were wrong. And My points were changed after the second time I canceled my account because it seems that no one can win with this company. This was about a year ago that this happened and since then I tell everyone I know to stay away from this company.

Comments: I still think CF is a good program. The bar works and is stable now. You will only lose session points if your own ISP disconnects. It even works while playing games like Red Alert 2 cause no browser is required.

Comments: To the person that said Cash Fiesta is a new company: well i can tell you they are not. The origninal company was actually called All Advantage and if u check there website: alladvantage.com it will simply redirect you. I had EXACTLY the same problems with all advantage about 3 years back. I managed to get around 700 ppl below me and i hit about ~$450 after hundreds of emails and i nagged them for months. i never saw a penny. this is a complete scam. The bottom line is nobody gives anything for free.

Comments: I have been reading alot of colmplains and scams now. I started to using cashfiesta for 1 week ago. But now I think that maybe I shall quit, because there is alot complains about the company. I havent saw one complain yet were someone has said anything about busting them with a laywer. Isnt that possible? They CANT delete your accout, if they dont have any proofs!! Do they have a picture of your PC screen, with an autoclicker on it?? NO! So why let them go on and on, deleting accounts? They will keep doing it until someone knocks them down, and their out of business. I am from Norway, and if Cashfiesta had told me that my account was deleted because of cheating, I would personally go to US, talk to a laywer, and BUST their asses!! Dont let them keep on!! Knock them down!! Daniel;) http://www.PhotoPlay.no

(i wish i will get it) i will post back here again if they really send me a check.

Comments: Well... i am using the software now, everything seems to be fine. if alladvantage.com was the original of cashfiesta, then i will keep using cashfiesta for serveral weeks because i did get my checked from alladvantage.com before. (1st check was $58, then the next one was $262) i spent all of them a long time ago. i never know if they will cancel my account or not.. but i will keep trying to use it for some more weeks. if they really will, i will post back here.

Comments: don't bother with it. They only pay you 1c/1000 pts. I made about 54000 pts plus 7000 bonus points thinking they pay almost 1$/hr but there was never request payment button. I am warning you guys they really don't pay as they say in their calculator. Don't waste your time. I was like you wasted my time. And Hey, then theres there website. Always maintaing.

Date: January 9, 2003
Comments: Scamfiesta is extremely unclear about their pay rates. After doing extensive research on their website i found out that i was only making 1 cent for each 1000 points, (it takes more then a hour to get 1000 points) so that means to actually reach their minimum check size of $50, i would need to spend well over 5000 hours to reach the check size. They know that nobody in their right mind would spend that much time using their program so when the time comes to pay out, they simply stamp your name as a cheater and cancel your account. It says in their TOS that they can cancel your account for a reason or for no reason, and they use that to justify all the people they robbed. They rarely respond to emails, and ones that they do respond to, dont have anything to do with what your problem is. My account was cancelled because i used the word "f**k" in my email to them, and since they were so horribly offended by that word they suspended my account. Cashfiesta will not pay nomatter what you do, if you are even crazy enough to sign up for their "special offers" you will not get credited for them. The offers that they have are really serious investments, like a mortgage on your home, or putting money into a online casino account, which is another scam subject in itself. And all the offers they have for you to sign up for, cost YOU money. And if you dont got a credit card you're stuck with the 1 cent payrate. Cashfiesta isn't worth your time. They will win, you will lose. If you were unfortunate enough to give them your email address you might as well get a different one, because they will spam you to kingdom come. If you have a existing account, cancel it. You will never get payed. They will screw you over as soon as they owe you money. Sombody do the world a favor and bomb the cashfiesta building.

Comments: i had been a CashFiesta member since July of 2000. I logged into my account on January of 2003 and all of my earnings had been deleted. I had just 1 cent remaining in my account. I had well over $27 in my account with CashFiesta. I sent an email asking about why my earnings vanished and never received a response. DON'T USE THIS PROGRAM! THEY DO NOT PAY!

Comments: If you have been scammed by cashfiesta, PLEASE report them to bbb.org so that somthing can actually be done about it. Im sure with enough complaints the state bbb will take action. If you had dealings with them in the past, no doubt you have been scammed as well as the rest of us, so why not report them? They dont deserve to make a living off of scamming all of us. And that little fiesta boy that falls asleep all the time, (laugh) oh yea... him, perhaps he should be laid to rest for good...

I have no idea what led you to whatever conclusions youve made, but dont even bother re-investigating. Cashfiesta is the biggest joke in Pay To Surf. And dont you guys worry about the nickel you owe me, even if it DID take 10 months to earn, I found a quarter in a parking lot today, thats 4 YEARS of Fiesta Earnings! ----- Original Message ----- From: abuse@cashfiesta.com Date: 10 Apr 2003 07:09:21 -0000 Subject: Account Cancellation Dear User, After a detailed investigation of your account it came up that you have been using fraudulent methods for gathering adpoints. Comments: I just wanted to let everyone know that there are 2 cashfiesta sites. This one everyone is talking about and Cash-Fiesta. The Cash-Fiesta site with the - is a really good site that has many ways to earn and DOES pay. She credits your account when you signup for a program, and answers every email and is really nice to work with. Please dont get her site confused with this one everyone is talking about. Cash-Fiesta with the - has only been around since February 9th with a payout of $10.00 which she is trying to lower for everyone. Please dont get the 2 confused because she does run a really good site. I dont know about the one everyone is talking about because I wont risk signing up, but like I said please dont get the 2 confused. Thank you.

Comments: I lost my entire 18000 points last night. This is in addition to several hundreds I frequently lost due to disconnection. Even when it is working, I had to click the fiesta-boy every now and then to wake it up. Besides, it may take more than a year to reach the $50 minimum payout. I am not going to use it again.

Comments: I got $65 even without downloading their software. I deposit and lost:( $50 at Casino On Net and more that 30 days later I got 65,000 special offer points in my account. The problem is that they are too slow in getting report from their partners so they can credit you special offer poins with a big delay. I.m not sure it worst to use them. Just wanted to say that sometimes they paid to a member.

Comments: I was supposed to receive a check this year. The company claimed it was sent in March, but it never arrived. (from e-mail) According to our records your check was sent in the beginning of March and indeed you should have already received it. Obviously it never reached you. Unfortunately, once a check is issued and sent out, Cashfiesta assumes no responsibility for its delivery. Cashfiesta is not responsible for checks which are lost in the mail, stolen, or sent to an incorrect address. If your address has changed, please remember to update your profile! I am sorry for the inconvenience but there is really nothing we can do! Best regards, The Cashfiesta Team (end paste) Do I believe them? Do I believe they lied? *shrug* I wasn't credited for a small group of special deals, either.

Comments: Its program is a complete fraud. I use their bar as mad for three months and joined in 3 of their special offers and I never had credited for those after of wait for 2 moths. I acummulated 117000 pts (i lost a lot the points for server error messages) in the second month and wait the credit for the special offer but never arrived at my account and in the last month when arrived the pay report from may (the second month) i'll wait that the payment was $55 but was $1,17. I can't believe it.

I was write to them about the offers that i have made and i attach those in the email for explain to them but i received as answer that: "then must received answer form the advertisers NOT FROM YOUˇ", they are ******* and his program is a fraud, i lost my time and my 2nd phone line account was expensive for it

Comments: I use this Cashfiesta program for 2 weeks now, and i'm not satisfied at all. The payrate is 0.01$ so 1 cent per 1000 points. I'll have to wait ages to reach the cheque size! I sent my account cancellation e-mail an hour ago. Furthermore: I checked this FieastaBar with SpySweeper Pro and I found spyware! Many spyware. They used to monitor my browsing activity and my computer's content too. This is not only a fraud. This is a crime! I'll not take legal actions if they cancel my account this instant. But if I get another unwanted e-mail, mail, phone call or anything, i will sue them to death, i promise! DON'T TRUST CASHFIESTA!

Comments: I joined their program several months ago. I signed up for some of the offers, and still havent recieved credit for them. I dont think I have lost any points due to disconnects as I have a broadband connection that is always on. There was a lot of spyware on my pc after running that stupid ad bar. Im glad I found this site and seen Im not the only one who has a problem with this company!

Comments: I joint Cashfiesta long ago along with other get paid programs like GetPaid4, Surf2Web, alladvantage and etc. All paid me except Cashfiesta. I had more than 80 downlines and surpassed 30.00 USD min payout. The payment button appeared and i requested. After few weeks, they claimed that my account is invalid and my surfing method was fraudulant. I asked for the proof but they just couldn't give me.
After sometimes, Cashfiesta keep on sending me their advertisements and promotions. I was so p***ed off and replied them why they terminated my account but still send me email? They told me i got to unsubscribe by myself. I refuse to do that and warned them to stop emailing me.
Finally they updated their mailing list and stop to send me any email.
Cashfiesta is a scam, it is not worth to join and waste your time. I have yet to find out anyone receive their real money.

Comments: I joined cashfiesta a long time ago (when there were hundreds of pay to surf programs running on the internet). I surfed for quite a bit at the beginning, but then completely forgot about it when most of the pay to surf companies went bankrupt. Anyway, one thing that I can add to all these complaints is about referrals. Last year, while cleaning up some space on my computer, I came across the fiesta bar. It had been on my computer for a couple of years and I had used it a few times. Curious, I logged into my account and saw that my total earnings were $0.01. This was suprising because I knew I surfed for a lot more than 1000 points and besides, back then rates were suppose to be a lot higher than 0.01/1000 points. I called up one of my friends who was in my downline, and asked him to check his stats. He had exactly the same thing even though he was expecting to have at least a couple of dollars. What was more suprising was that of my 300+ referrals, not a single one seemed to have been surfing all this time. So me and my friends decided to do a little experiment. I convinced him to surf for a a bit with the bar during the month and I did the same thing. Since he was in my downline I was expecting to get some referral points. To no suprise, when the stats for the month showed up, there was a big fat zero for referrals which I knew it couldn't be true. That was it. I deleted the program and haven't looked back since then. The point is, even if you don't want to beleive all the scamful ways this company cheats people, and you stick to surfing for 1 cent per 1000 points, it'll take you years to get a pay check. You'll make more money working a couple of hours during the year than this! Money is not found with these companies, it's earned. Don't waste your time, good luck!

Comments: Hi, I am glad to see that I am not the only one. I just found Cashfiesta a few months ago and signed up. At first, I loved it. I am on the computer a lot, and this site actually pays you to just be online, so I thought that it was perfect. Even though every time I clicked on a link, my computer froze, I still liked the program. It exposed me to links and programs that I never knew existed. After about a week I had about 4,000 points. Having to spend ten hours on line was paying off. Until one day, I signed on, and to my horror - all of my points were gone. They had just disappearred. Having a heart attack, I wrote to them asking them what had happenned, and to reinstate my points. They had just been confirmed, they knew that I had not done anything with them - so how could they argue. I never even heard back from them. When I wrote a second time, I watched what few points I had accumulated vanish before my very eyes. Still, no response from them. They did not even write back, forget reinstating my points. I could not get over how they could do this. Especially since they had a record of my points, and knew that I was telling the truth. In the last couple of weeks I figured that I would try the program again and see what would happen. I had to spend all of this time on the computer anyway - six to ten hours a day at times, why not be rewarded for it. Maybe, I could earn my points back. I felt sure that I had just gotten a bad employee - or a customer service rep, and that usually they did respond back and take care of the problems. How could they stay in business if they did not.I had to spend all of this time on line anyway, what would I lose. Why not benefit from it, so I started running the cash fiesta bar again. That is when these casinos started popping up. Something or someone was downloading casinos onto my computer with out my knowledge, consent - nothing. It was bizarre. For the life of me, I could not figure out where these casinos were coming from, or how it was happening. That something could download a program onto my computer without any knowledge from me was very disturbing. And for some reason they were landing in my favorite folder - the one listed when you turn on the computer. This is something that I have never even looked at on my computer, more or less put something on. I got my cousin to come down this last weekend, to help me get these casinos off of my computer, and to try and figure out just where they were coming from. They refused to be erased, and he knows a lot more about computers than I do. I think that we finally got them off - at least they are off of my desktop. I clicked on another favorite that just appeared and I was shocked when it led me back to cashfiesta. Can a company really do this - just download things on your computer without even asking? I always thought that you had to download programs, not that they could do it themselves. It really shocked me. The more I have been reading about this site, the more disturbed I become. It seems that even once you get to the payout level, they will not pay, but just delete your account instead. Another lady spoke of tons of spyware. My computer has been acting up to no end. In fact, I have got to go back and grovel to my pay to read sites that I lost when my computer was down. It is suddenly refusing to shut down by itself. And then when it comes back on, the error check refuses to finish. It freezes up, and loves to die. Could those spyware programs be causing these problems? Come to think of it, they did start about the time that I found this program. I used to love Cash Fiesta because of all of the interesting sites that it exposed me to. But now I am probably just going to delete it. Has anyone ever been paid? How can they put spyware on your computer and not tell you? Has other people have had problems with their computer because of them? It sopunded like such a wonderful site when I first found it. I really enjpyed the program. But if it is hurting my computer? What would the damage be if I just left the program in, and did run it. Would it hurt my computer even more? Can the damage that the spyware did be fixed? Will the spyware go away when I delete this program? I am really disappointed! Suzy.

Comments: I disregarded most of these comments, I finally reached payout of $50 and guess what? My account was closed due to some crap about cheating!!! I signed up for a lot of those programs surfed for each and every of my 426,000 points! How dare they! I had about 426,000 bar points including bonus and about 200,000 from sign ups! This SUCKS! Comments: They paid me first payout no problems other than making me wait forever. If i recall correctly they said they needed to be paid first. Then they made us wait 6 months or more before we could make any further requests. When i finally qualified for another payout, and requested it, they deleted me for cheating. How can a cheater be cheating if it took 6 months to reach payout? This is definately a scam! Run for the hills. Don't sign up for this one. The only thing i ever liked was their viewbar, i used to get a kick out of rubbing the guys belly and making him run...hehe

Comments: cashFiesta is a royal pain to earn from, but if you do it right you CAN earn. One thing you should know is that after 6 months of inactivity (no points earned) they "reset" your accumulated points/money earned (<50) to ZERO. And Special Offers take 4 to 6 weeks to be credited.

Comments: When you download the adbar, there is always a file missing so it won't load. i emailed them, and they told me to make a folder on my desktop and put the required file in it. why can't they just fix the problem and put the file in the appropiate spot for the download to be successful. they simply do not care. they did cut back my earnings as well. since then, i have not used them because they are a SCAM

Comments: Well I'm here to state as it has already been about 1,000 times, and I hope they will all get this through your head, cash fiesta is a scam!!! I as well was a member for a while and I didn't use it that much and earned a small sum of about $20. And like what everyone else said they suspend your account. And so once again **do not use this program**

I'd love to hear somebody who actually got paid from this surf bar.

Comments: i'm a current memebr of Cashfiesta .. still don't have enough points to cash out .. but i want to comment on one thing , some people say that the add bar doesn't count points so fast , well maybe you haven't been paying attention to the little fellow in the add bar , if you read the F.A.Q on the site , it said that you should click on him if he isn't moving . cause if fiesta boy is taking a siesta there's no cashfiesta ;) as for the check problems ,i'll get back to you all on it .. i know there's not one good comment here on it but i'd like to try it myself :)

Comments: They claimed that I was using fraudulent methods and deducted my earnings, but without any explanation or evidence. I did not use any fraudulent method. I sent them two emails arguing about it but there was no reply at all. Following is the email that they sent me claiming that I was a cheater: Dear Cashfiesta User, We detected that you have been using fraudulent methods for increasing your earnings. Therefore we nullified all your points from the Fiestabar, referral and bonus points. Our Terms and Conditions allow us to terminate your account in cases like this but we chose not to do so because we consider you a valuable member. Since you have completed Special Offers without using any fraudulent methods we will leave the points for these registrations. Please, make sure not to violate our Terms and Conditions because we will be forced to terminate your account. Best regards, James Bradshaw Cashfiesta Team

Comments: Program was previously boycotted, but was later removed after it provided a statement. Unfortunately, I believe the situation has not only failed to improve, but has deteriorated, very greatly, over time. Information provided throughout the following thread leads me to believe this: http://www.gptboycott.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5373 Please especially consider the following three pages: http://www.gptboycott.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5373&page=13 http://www.gptboycott.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5373&page=14 http://www.gptboycott.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5373&page=15 CashFiesta's responses have gone from rude, to completely ignoring, to unhelpful, to bordering on libellous (regarding TrendMicro). I would advise an immediate reconsideration of this program's boycott status.

Comments: The other Cash-Fiesta site mentioned does not exist. Maybe it's one and the same? It's taken me years to reach $30, and I'm not getting much for active referals. Seems a little strange that this program is still around if it's scamming people.

Comments: Cashfiesta had a promo going on that if you completed three offers, you would get fifty bucks. Well I started to complete the offers, and when I got to the thrid one, it could not be completed. I emailed them numerous times, with no response. They had finally changed the last offer, and I completed it, so I had all three completed, and they just took it away, like I never did anything. I immediately removed there toolbar, and everything else!

Comments: I initially got paid $50 for completing a monthly special.. but after that they took all my points away for cheating .... 2 months in a row... they would not say why... even though I explained I am in front of the computer alot due to my disability and my wife and four children help keep the meter running too.I am very disappointed with the customer service and the false accusations of cheating .

Comments: WOW, These crooks are still around???? Unbelieveable that people would still be signing up for this one. It was some 5+ years ago when I quit. When some 100,000 points was worth about 17 cents, I e-mailed to ask if they were serious. I immediately deleted my account. I was not running their surfbar, joining their programs & clicking their ads for 17 cents a month. I could not see myself waiting for 20+ years to reach payout
