On its home page, the Cash4Offers website claims members can complete paid surveys, receive paid to read emails, complete free trial offers, etc., and "earn over $300 in less than 72 hours!" Cash4Offers also alleges the member will "receive your check in the mail in less than 72 hours"; and, "members have earned over $170,000 to date!" Perhaps members have earned over $170,000 to date; but, have the members been paid? Perhaps the claims posted on Cash4Offers home page are, at the very least, misleading and certainly contradictory to their own FAQs, with respect to payment within 72 hours. For instance:
Q: How and when do I get paid?
A: We send your payment in US dollars when your account balance is over $25.00. In most cases, payments are processed within three (3) business days upon request! However, your first payment request is processed on a Net-15 basis. This means that your first payment will be processed 15 days from the end of the month in which you requested payment. This waiting period is necessary in order to prevent fraud. Any subsequent member payment requests are processed within three (3) business days.
Q: Why was I not credited for the paid offer I completed?
A: There are several possible reasons for not getting credited in your account:
* It has not been 30 days since you completed the offer.
So, when can the member expect payment? Within 72 hours, after 15 days, or at least 30 days after completion of offers? Members, current and former, posting at GPTBoycott and elsewhere on the net, say the member's efforts to earn cash through Cash4Offers are those of futility and continue to report their inquiries fail to be answered and payout is never received.
In addition to the links above, the following complaints, accusing Cash4Offers' of failure to comply with its own member requirements and non-payment of members, have been lodged through GPTBoycott, earning Cash4Offers a spot on the Boycott List:
For the reasons above, and the complaints listed below, Cash4Offers has been boycotted!
Name: Janet Lillis Date: February 24, 2010 Comments: didn't pay, decided I wasn't in the system
Name: Ronda Date: January 21, 2010 Comments: I have gotten to the required 35.00 to be able to cash out with this program and they calimed I needed to complete three cash offers, however I told them I would sue them if they did not let me cash out as promised. They sent me an email saying that normally they would cancel an account for threatening them, however at this time I could go ahead and cash out, but upon returning to the site got the same message to complete 3 offers,. I cannot believe that our government allows sites like this to ooperate without any kind of regulations. I don't know how other people have gotten paid in the past but this is unacceptable and I think we should all file a class ation lawsuit against them for committing crimes against us and not paying us for our time.
Name: Debi Fitz Date: August 2, 2009 Comments: When I was $.30 away from their $25 min. cashout my account stopped crediting. I was told needed to complete another survey to reactivate my account. I did this and reached the $25 payout with a 1% fee for paypal. I went to cashout and all of a sudden the payout had increased to $35 with a 5% fee. This site is a waste of time as they will never actually pay.
Name: Robin Palmer Date: July 21, 2009 Comments: I was being paid $.05 per paid email and then the amount dropped to only $.02 per paid email and I was instructed I had to complete (2) offers before my paid email amount would go back up to $.05 per paid email. So I did the (2) offers and completed them and my amount went back up to only $.04 per paid email (when they told me to complete (2) offers to go back up to $.05 per paid email).Everything was fine until my amount per paid email went back down to $.02 once again (for what they call being "inactive") I had to complete (2) more offers, which I did to completion (even had to download a bunch of junk into my computer), then I waited, and waited, and waited and (contacted them several times during this time period), and I never received an answer or reply what so ever! What they did was terminate my account with no notice! I was up to $26.00 and was getting ready to cash out. This took me about 6 months and I put in a lot of time doing so :( I am very, very displeased :(
Name: Lisa Date: October 16, 2008 Comments: I have been on cash4offers since Feb of 08. I finally reached payout and requested it on September 11th and waited and waited. I waited until the 15th of the month like it said on the website and then sent them an email asking about my payout. They did not answer my email and the next morning my payment request was added back to my account apparently to stall yet another month in getting my payment. I have emailed again with no answer but it doesn't look as though they are going to pay me or answer my emails. It took me months to reach payout on that site and I did their paid emails everyday and now they won't pay and won't answer inquiries.

Comment: I have to follow up to my complaint to be fair. Cash4Offers did finally reply to my email and soon after they paid me through paypal. It should be a little easier to get payment and not take so long, but they did indeed pay me.
Name: Barbara Martin Date: October 9, 2008 Comments: When I reached payout I got a screen that told me I would have to complete 17 more offers to get paid, even though I had enough for payout in my account. I looked at everything in the terms and faqs and could not find anything about a required number of offers.
They answered one email and then blocked me sending them any more emails. They owe me $32.81.
Name: belinda olivares Date: October 5, 2008 Comments: I had the same problem as to I have to do more. I am so disapointed in cash for offer
Name: Darris Maxwell Date: October 3, 2008 Comments: i also reached payout for 25.oo when rule changed and would not receive payout until $37.00 and 28 orders placed i'm sure there will never be a payout no matter what.
Name: Jack Date: October 2, 2008 Comments: They cancle my account when it was time for payment. they said i did the same offer twice.
Name: linda watson Date: September 30, 2008 Comments: when i got the minimun amount in my account, i had 25.00 and they would not let me cash out. this site is a rip-off. stay away from them. linda
Name: melissa dobbins Date: September 15, 2008 Comments: have cashed out with this company twice before and they have paid. i reached payout again of 25.00 and they refused payment as they said i had not completed enough offers. i done everyone of their paid to clicks, and reached payout. when i signed up there was nothing in there membership area stating that i had to complete so many offers before i was paid. i have not completed them in the past, just done their paid to clicks and have been paid. tried to sign into account today after i had emailed them several times, and they terminated my account with notice
Name: Mike Donahue Date: August 7, 2008 Comments: I have made their minimum, which is $30.00, I tried to cash out and they canceled my account.
Name: Robert Matchett Date: July 30, 2008 Comments: Well, I joined this site before I found gptboycott. Everything seemed ok, but now, after being a member for a while, my pay per email has dropped a lot and I have never gotten one referral added to my account, despite referring many people.
Name: heather Date: July 2, 2008 Comments: I REQUESTED PAYMENT FOR $33.00 A MONTH AGO. THEY SAY THEY SEND PAYMENTS IN 72 HOURS BUT I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN PAID. I SENT THEM EMAILS THAT WERE NEVER RESPONDED TO AND WHEN I TRIED TO LOG IN TODAY I FOUND OUT THEY HAD TERMINATED MY ACCOUNT!
Name: rebekah strahsburg Date: June 19, 2008 Comments: They want you to do one offer per month. I have done the amount of offers but they do not put them through in time and then they add another month on to it and you never catch up. I have emailed them 3 times and do not answer. I have $28.00 plus coming to me.
Name: JM Shephard Date: June 8, 2008 Comments: I was getting emails offers from them but began to have trouble signing in - - after accruing earnings. The last contact, they wrote back and said they were "having no trouble on their end," and I haven't heard a word form them sense. 4/23/08 was the last time we communicated. I could not log in then either and got their "no problem here" response. Again loss of earnings
Name: Sandy Date: May 24, 2008 Comments: I've pretty much given up on getting paid from these people. I'd requested p/o like the first of April (I think) and it was over the $25., when they told me to get paid I needed to do 6 more offers to get paid, well after telling them that their TOS did not state this all they did was go change the TOS!!!!! So I've been busy getting 6 more offers done, well I've done around 10, but have not gotten credit for 4 of them and I've been having to spend money to even get those. I've emailed them numerous times even with copies of emails confirming my completion of offers and even the emails where items have been shipped to me and they still don't give me credit and have NEVER answered the first email yet!! My balance is now up to $44.90 and they have put my account as "inactive" until I do 2 MORE offers!!! This is getting ridiculous. I actually do check back every cpl of days to see if there are free offers I can complete, but I'm not getting credit for any emails I click on with my acct inactive. Should I just give up and become inactive?? It's so frustrating to spend money you don't have to spend in the hopes that the payoff will be worth it in the end, only to have them screw you over. I also noticed that one of my offers that they're refusing to give me credit for went from being one that you get "instant" credit for to "1-3 days" and now it's "1-7 days" and it's been a couple of wks or more that I completed it. They just change the rules to fit their desires.

Comment: Well, they must have gotten fed up with my emails, as they have deleted my membership. They kept refusing to pay me saying I needed to do more offers, but for every 4 or 5 offers I did, I only got credit for maybe 1. They NEVER answered my emails when I asked why I was not getting credit for the offers. I probably shouldn't have done it, but I got my attorney involved and told them so and right after that they deleted my account with $45 in it, which should have been more like $65-70 if I'd gotten credit for all offers I did. Their admin never once answered any emails I sent them over the months I was a member. Beware of this site.....you have to spend almost as much money as you will make in the end.......but like in my case I spent more than my earnings ended up being. In my opinion, it's a total ripoff!
Name: LYNNE LARSON-NEWMAN Date: May 21, 2008 Comments: THIS SITE TERMINATED ME AS SOON AS I THREATENED TO REPORT THEM TO THE BBB. I WILL BE COMPOSING THAT E-MAIL NEXT. I SENT THEM TWO INQUIRIES AS TO WHERE MY MONIES WERE FOR SURVEYS COMPLETED AND THEY DID NOT ANSWER EITHER ONE OF THEM. THE THIRD E-MAIL I SENT THEM, I INQUIRED AGAIN AS TO WHEN MY ACCOUNT WOULD BE CREDITED FOR SURVEYS COMPLETED AND THREATENED TO REPORT THEM TO THE BBB IF I DID NOT HEAR FROM THEM. THE NEXT DAY THEY TERMINATED MY ACCOUNT. I HAVE SINCE WRITTEN THEM TO E-MAILS ASKING THEM WHY THE TERMINATION, BUT THEY WILL NOT RESPOND. I BELONG TO NUMEROUS SURVEY SITES, BUT I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED TREATMENT LIKE THIS. IN MY OPINION, THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS.
Name: Michelle Johnson Date: May 17, 2008 Comments: The site doesnt notify you that your account is inactive ,continues to send you paid emails that you never get paid for , upon reading the tos i see you have to complete one offer per month in addition to the paid emails , which is fine but unless you happen to notice you arent getting paid for the emails and investigate it you will never know you are inactive for this reason .
Name: Kevin Yerby Date: May 15, 2008 Comments: Changed policy to require members to purchase or sign up for a paid offer every month. Applied this policy retroactive to membership sign up date. Is requiring me to complete 22 of their 61 offers to remain a member. Refuses to pay me balanced earned which is over the cashout amount without completing all these offers. I cant be the only one who lost their earnings and they wont allow to cash out before resigning.
Name: Charles Barker Date: May 15, 2008 Comments: won't pay,no money added to account in over a month
Name: Sheryl Date: May 14, 2008 Comments: i have contacted these people 3 times. my balance never changes in about the last 50 clicks. can't get any response as to why
Name: Audrey Date: May 7, 2008 Comments: reached payout and was never paid
rules were changed to qualify for payment after payout requested and kept changing until finally account deleted.
Name: Donna Walters Date: May 3, 2008 Comments: My earnings were stopped and I was labeled inactive, they said I did not read all their rules correctly. I thought I did. I was informed of this when I came within 70 cents of cashing out. They continued to send me emails, (even though I WAS INACTIVE)I noticed I was not being paid for reading them anymore. I think I should be paid for what I have did atleast. But of course I can't get to 25.00 unless I do other projects, like trials and purchases. They recently sent new rules. I agreed to them to keep from loosing my earnings, I feel they are cheating me. And probably others who are close to cashing out.
Name: Lee New Date: April 28, 2008 Comments: My account was terminated without warning due to multiple completion of an offer. I had completed eight offers, none of which were Amp Surveys, so I inquired and they never replied back. I had $15 in rewards and they recently lowered their minimum payout point from $50 to $25. Another person on a paid survey forum also reported the same problem of being terminted before they could reach the cash out point.

Your account is cancelled due to multiple completion of the same offer (Amp Surveys).
My reply: How is that even possible? Isn't this Cash4Offers? What is Amp Surveys? I don't keep track of which offers I complete for different trial offer companies. Please send me the $15 for my completed offers.
Name: Dena Oliphint Date: April 19, 2008 Comments: You reach payout ($25) then they dont pay-up. Instead, they tell you that you must sign-up for 15 more offers. It clearly says in their FAQ's "you may cash out once you reach $25. They DO NOT reply to emails.
Name: julia pope Date: April 9, 2008 Comments: I have been a member for about a year. Clicked and read every email and tried to do some of their offers but none of them ever were approved which I thought was strange. So I finally I reach the 25.00 payout, just to be told I have to do 11 paid offers to get my money even though I reached payout status. One for each month that I was in the program. I cancelled my account, and they asked was I really going to throw a free 25.00 away. What 25.00 they never planned on paying me in the first place. That is why their offers never credited .... or at least they said they didn't.

Name: Kamille Date: March 20, 2008 Comments: Reached the $25.00 payout and when I went to cash out I was given an error message indicating that I didn't follow the terms of service, which apparently indicate: [quote]The Cash4Offers.com may terminate inactive member's account if no paid offer has been accepted in such account for thirty (30) consecutive days.[unquote] Of which they won't cancel you until you request cash out. Unfortunately I lost $25.00 from this site.

Name: Arlene Dinkle Date: March 13, 2008 Comments: When I reached payout I was told I had to accept 15 offers in order to be paid. I suppose I didn't read all their facts before signing up, but it certainly doesn't qualify as a PTR
Name: Elizabeth Date: March 12, 2008 Comments: When I went to cashout I received the following message that I couldn't: Dear Elizabeth, Thank you for requesting your payment. Unfortunately, your payment cannot be processed at this time. According to our Member Policy, The Cash4Offers.com may terminate inactive member's account if no paid offer has been accepted in your account for thirty (30) consecutive days. Please browse and accept at least 6 paid offer(s) as soon as possible in order to keep your account activated. We look forward to having a long and mutually profitable relationship with you. To Your Success, The Cash4Offers.com team
Now there is nothing in their FAQ about this. In fact in the FAQ page all it says for when I am paid is when my account reaches 25.00, nothing about that it has to be with so many paid offers. In their terms there is nothing that says for paying out you have to do so many offers. All it states is: The Cash4Offers.com may terminate inactive member's account if no paid offer has been accepted in such account for thirty (30) consecutive days. It does not say if it's not terminated that to cash out I have to do so many. I have done 6 in the last few days that have credited plus a cash survey and others that haven't credited yet. Obviously I'm not inactive since I'm doing the paid to read emails and I've done offers. I've since done 3 more offers that were credited and now the message reads that I have to do 4 more offers. As it shows above I had to do 6 before and since now I've done three that should mean only 3 more not 4. I have written to them several times on this and have not recieved any reply from them. I doubt I will at this point nor do I think I will ever receive my money from them. Since they do not honor their terms and faqs and they do not respond to support questions I believe this is one that should be watched and investigated to see what is going on. [Update 2008-03-31:] I had filled out a complaint before but this is an update on it. I continued to try and do offers so I could get the payout. I got down to it saying I had to do one more. I did a couple and waited for one to clear. None did so I went to check and I couldn't log in. It said inactive or terminated account. It let me re-send my password, send a re-activation account email and they still sent me paid to read emails. I tried writing to them. They wrote back which surprised me since I wrote them 4 times about not being able to cashout and didn't get a response from them. They said my account was terminated for doing the survey one too many times, one they have marked for you to do again and again because it always changes. I wrote them telling them that and that I'm still receiving paid to read emails, no response from them. I still can't log in and I'm still getting their emails. They obviously aren't going to pay me the money I earned but feel that they can still get me to do their work. Also so you know they are using this url along with the cash4offers: Paid-to-read-email.com It redirects back to the other but it could be they are going to change over to it for everything. Name: Debbie Hines Date: March 11, 2008 Comments: I reached payout of the 25.00 then when I cashed out .It said to do 9 offers or your account would be Terminated.
Name: Jaslene Date: February 2, 2008 Comments: They owed me $44 and never paid me. To cash out, you have to accumulate $25 in your account. They are supposed to call you to confirm the cash out and they never called. Their site offers paid emails and paid to join sponsors' offers.
Name: Signy Date: November 12, 2007 Comments: After clicking for clicking for a year, I finally earned $40.00 in clicks. I had asked for my pay at the $25.oo dollar level and was told I had to have $40 in order to request payment. I finally had $40 and they said no...I hadn't had any offers completed in that month. I really needed my money and was terribly disappointed. Nowhere do I remember being informed that I HAD to sign up for offers in order to be paid.
Name: Lisa Floer Date: May 28, 2007 Comments: This site refused to pay me once I made the minimum payout. It took me a long time to accumulate the minimum and once I did, they claimed they couldn't verify my info and suspended me. When I explained that we no longer used a home phone and only cell phones to save money, they said they would not pay. I have been working with all types of GPT sites, Traffic Exchanges and Survey Sites enough to know and understand their side but every time I tried to work out something to get paid, they had another excuse. I also had my phone turned back on(because of verification's for other sites who were requesting it) and they still would not pay me. It was even the same phone number I signed up with. I have copies of their emails and can prove their disrespect and unfairness to a long-term member. [Update 2007-11-22:] I cannot believe this site is not listed. I earned $27,there was supposed to be a fee for $1.60 but never received the $25.40. Only 1 response to my emails where they had a ridiculous reason for no payment. (Will track down proof if needed.)Sent many EMs for months until I gave up and closed the account.
