BournemouthBreeze is a paid to read program owned and operated by Tony Bishop and Georgina Jarvis. It is important for users to be aware of the owners' history in the Paid-To industry.
Georgina Jarvis was a part of the Aprils Team. Though, she wasn't the owner of AprilGoldsGetPaid2ReadEmail, she did help run AprilsGoldenAds with April and later took the program over. AprilsGoldenAds was then closed and Golden-Advertising was opened.

AprilGoldsGetPaid2ReadEmail and UnitedByTheWeb were closed, in debt, owing money to members. This debt was never paid. Tony later resurfaced, co-owning BournemouthBreeze with Georgina.
BournemouthBreeze has been boycotted for the reasons above and the complaints below.
Name: Marion (Belle)Straker Date: April 8, 2006 Comments: This site is owned by TonyB who was also the last owner of AprilGoldsGetPaidToRead as well as Unitedbytheweb.com.
He dumped both these sites without notice and w/o paying the members.
He did not run up the original debt at AGGPTR but he had accepted responsibility for it
then pulled a runner on both sites.
What bothers me more than anything is his complete lack of remorse or acceptance that he did anything wrong. He finds excuse after excuse to make someone else at fault and based on his history I dont think he should be allowed to recruit another group of newbies who will be dumped the first time he has a "personal problem" of any kind.
He has shown that he feels no need to make any effort to pay members if anything goes wrong..in fact he does not even see the need to notify them but when he decided to waltz back months later he expects that all is forgiven ( even though he never admitted to doing anything wrong)
In fact his statement that he did not pull a runner as he is "back now" is flat out scary and just another thing he sees nothing wrong with.

He ultimately closed down both programs, the debt at aprilgoldsgetpaidtoreademail.com was never addressed or dealt with by tonyb, he proceeded to blame the members for the program failing. He claimed to have been offline for a period of several months when it was proven that he was indeed online several times, during which he never notified either the members of the program or the team of mods and helpers he was working with as to what was going on with him or the program.
Since discussion of his new program has been started, he has been either unwilling or unable to address the valid concerns from members regarding aprilgoldsgetpaidtoreademail.com and has lied several times even when presented with facts proving him wrong.
My feeling about this is that if he was willing to so easily shirk his responsibilities with those previous two programs, if he is willing to so easily lie about how events transpired even when there is ample evidence proving him wrong, that the members of bournemouthbreeze.com are seriously at risk and need to be extremely careful in their dealings with this person. I believe that a boycott of bournemouthbreeze.com is a necessity.
Name: Amanda Date: April 9, 2006 Comments: I joined Bournemouth Breeze and clicked for many days and suddenly my account was gone. I'm from the US, and I know I didn't click a cheat link or anything, and though I emailed the PO several times, I never got a response. So I just lost out on all the money I just clicked for and no response from the PO. The least he could do is tell me why my account was deleted, because I would never cheat and I've never clicked on any cheat link in my life, I am an honest person.

Name: Wil Date: April 9, 2006 Comments: I believe Bournemouth Breeze should be added to the Boycott List because it is owned and operated by Tony Bishop, a known scammer. Tony Bishop is also the owner of AprilGold'sGetPaid2ReadEmail, and owes members of that program substantial amounts of money. He is also the owner of UnitedByTheWeb, which he also abruptly shut down without paying members the money they'd earned.
As long as Program Owners can simply close down one program and open another, the boycott process as currently implemented doesn't adequately address the problems created by these individuals. Even if their programs are added to the Boycott List, they can simply abandon that program and open new ones.
If we are a community are going to take action to discourage scammers, we've got to try to make it less rewarding for them to rip us off.

In addition, their homepage at this time is sporting a banner requesting passers-by to "Please Make a Search!" - which is in violation of search engine/portal feed terms of service. Not only that, but the page which that banner leads to ( http://ww.nn.cn/gxla/ ) illegally claims to be "Google Search." Screenshots of these two pages are hosted below:

Please carefully consider all of the disgusting practices, past and present, and take into mind the great burden of proof that these people ought to have, and how little trust their words should merit until shown otherwise.
Name: Afke Krikke Date: April 12, 2006 Comments: After giving it a long hard thought, because I don't think a boycott should be requested too easily, I have decided to submit this as a program owner.
I have great concerns about the issues concerning Bournemouth Breeze.
We have here a program owner who did a runner on two programs he owned: April Gold's Paid to Read and UnitedByTheWeb.
Now some may not agree to Tony Bishop actually being the owner of April Gold's even though the former owner and Tony Bishop himself have confirmed on several ocasions that in fact there had been a transfer of ownership.
However, this also concerns UnitedByTheWeb, of which Tony Bishop never denied ownership.
We've been presented all kinds of facts and expanations by Tony Bishop why he is not responsible for the demise of both programs. But there are plenty of facts available (either posted recently in GetPaidForum or posted there around this time last year when the actual closure of both programs took place) to actually prove that most if not all statements Tony Bishop has made are straight out lies.
Tony Bishop has refused to take any responsibility for what took place and for the payments he owes his members; in stead just added lie to lie to lie to justify his behaviour.
Even if most of the discussion at GPF concerned April Gold's, Tony Bishop was also the owner of UnitedByTheWeb (which he has never denied) and he abandoned that program as well without paying members. We only have his word that there was little debt on that program and after all the lies he posted in GPF, in my opinion his word doesn't mean anything anymore. Even so, little debt is still debt and is still members left unpaid. Tony has refused to acnowledge this and take responsibility.
Now mr. Bishop turned up as co-owner of Bournemouth Breeze and as it turned out later also as co-owner of Golden-Advertising, Penny-Pusher, The-Leaping-Lizard and Penny-Searcher. The other co-owner of these five programs is, as far as I'm aware, a decent PO though less of a decent person as she knowingly supports mr. Bishop's lies and even has added to them.
In my opinion the issue is whether we allow PO's who did a runner to hide as a co-owner behind another PO's reputation and that way escape facing any consequences of previous behaviour (like being banned), that way posing a risk for members to be scammed.
Some have expressed that Tony Bishop deserves a second chance - but do shameless scammers like him really deserve a second chance?
Do we really want to open the door for all those PO's who did a runner in the past and scammed their members without any remorse to return and have another go at cheating a fresh load of clickers out of their earnings - all of them hiding behing a co-owner?
I think not and this is why I have already banned all programs (co-)owned by Tony Bishop from advertising at my program. I'm well aware that this banning also includes the co-owner but that is in my opinion a direct consequence of the choices and decisions this co-owner made herself.
I respectfully request Bournemouth Breeze as well as Golden-Advertising, Penny-Pusher, The-Leaping-Lizard and Penny-Searcher to be added to the banned list.

I agree 100% that this program needs to be placed on the Boycott List. If the WM-TonyB pulled a runner before with April's, what is to say he won't scam members at this site!
I was a member for the first few days this program opened but then I started checking it out on GPF and boy was I surprized at what I found. I in NO way shape or form will EVER support a site that has or does scam it's members in any way!
So Please consider this site for Boycott! The sooner the better.

I think GPTB can be a valuable warning tool by alerting people to potential problems....I don't think it's absolutely necessary for the current program to have committed some dastardly sin to merit being boycotted. In this case, the past actions and uncaring attitude and lies from the owner make this a program that everyone needs to be warned about.
This forum needs to stand up against owners who pull runners by telling them they are NOT welcome to start up yet another program.
This forum needs to add Bournemouth Breeze to the Boycott List immediately if for no other reason than to protect those who rely on GPTB to provide the info they need to make wise choices.

While I was moderator, Tony Bishop disappeared. Even though at that time he was still online,
he avoided me, the other mods, his site assistants and the members. Eventually, I had contact
with him via email. Considering what I knew/saw, I didn't "buy" a majority of what he said to me.
When Bournemouth Breeze opened, it caused understandable concern. Rather than take the
responsibility to address the concerns, Tony Bishop, Georgina Jarvis, and others blatantly lied:

I did believe that AprilGoldsGetPaid2ReadEmail could be saved. I did pass my beliefs on to the
members. I know I was wrong and I do take full responsibility for my actions. Because of the lies
about me, the lack of responsibility, the disrespect for members that were not paid, the fact that I

I don't feel TonyB deserves a second chance at this time, when he disappeared he left all members and staff hanging without a word, nothing.
Name: David Aka Poncer Date: January 15, 2007 Comments: When he was given the AprilGolds site, Tony made promises to me and others that he would pay us. But look what happened? He used that money he promised us and made this program. The money that built this program really belongs to the members that he promised to payout to in AprilGolds and UnitedByTheWeb. I felt cheated since I was really owed less than $7.
