AWSurveys is a paid survey site offering a signup bonus of $6, surveys worth $1 and $25 and a $75 minimum payout. The site's Terms state that payments will be made within six weeks, depending on the method of payment chosen, though the complaints which follow show this not to be the case.

The first reason that AWSurveys is on the boycott list is simply the non-payment of members. The complaints below detail how members who have reached the minimum payout amount are not being paid according to the site's own Terms of Service. Support e-mails have not been responded to, members have not been paid, and so this program rightly belongs on the boycott list.

The second reason that AWSurveys is boycotted is the use of deceptive business practices. Many of our complainants note that upon reaching the minimum payment amount, or close to it, their account has been closed or suspended for "cheating", violation of Terms, or without reason. Others have found it impossible to take any more surveys once they have earned a certain figure, below the minimum payment amount. It is clear that this practice is too widespread among our complainants to be attributed solely to real cheating or accidental breaches of the site's Terms. The practice of accusing members of cheating in order to withhold payments is both deceptive and dishonest, and must not be tolerated. For this second reason, therefore, AWSurveys is a boycotted site!

I don't know actually what the reasons are,i didn't make any fake accounts,i didn't put my link on youtube or any of the websites they listed on wich we are not allowed to put are referral links. AWsurveys IS A SCAM and a waist of time!

Comments: I was able to earn $29 right after signing up. However, payout is $75 min. Ever since, I have received only 1 survey and was turned down for that one. None since. I contacted them about an ad I saw from one of their members, claiming to earn $200 consistently, and why I don't receive any surveys, so that I can earn. To date, I have received no reply from them. This has been about 3 weeks. I have since canceled my account with them.

But i thought still i can earn by refering others, i started my work Just like others i gave my all time to refer my friends and others on social networking site. I wasted my continuous two months in that . Then most awaited moment came and i requested payout but same happened with they denied my payment with a stupid reason that some of my referals didnt took part in surveys(which is mentioned nowhere in TOS) , and for making fake accounts. Comments: I've also encourtered an issue with AWSurveys. I've had a friend that actually recieved his payment, so i sent it in, and they sent me an e-mail claiming I had fradualent refferals, when clearly, they were my co-workers and friends on MSN that i have sent it to. I've sent severel support tickets, and they put the status to 'resolved' without an answer. I do not recommend this site. I'd call it a scam, and if your going on it, don't expect a payment.

Comments: I too was skeptical at first about the site because of only getting 3 surveys and then not getting any.. I had seen payment proof from this site so I figured the only way to get the money was to refer people and that is exactly what I did. I was paid 3 times from them. About 2 weeks ago I withdrew my 4th payment of $75 and about 3 days later I received an email saying that there was fradulently activity on the account with the referrals or my referrals were not taking the surveys. I have submitted 4 support tickets to them and they all say resolved but I have yet to hear from them, but that is quite alright cause they will be hearing my attorney. But the funny thing is I still can log into my account and I have a survey available for me. So if there was fradulent activity why would my account still be open?? WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP SITE and I am going to make sure I let everyone know about it..lol

Comments: Did anyone read the AWSurveys T.O.S.? They make it so that there is no obligation on their part whatsoever to pay you. Read this: We reserve the right to refuse any point conversion. Some reasons for payments to be denied may include but are not limited to low survey taking ratios. This is when less then 75 percent of your referrals take our surveys. Payments may also be denied if false information is given by their referrals, or if they have the same IP address.

Comments: I signed up for this service quite a while back, i did all the surveys, then found they never added anymore after that. So i decided to put an add up on my site, and got up to the $75 minimum payout. I was all happy and everything, and cashed out using PayPal. Now heres something interesting, as soon as i did that, all my support requests got ignored, its been over a week for one support request that was left at unresolved. They as well gave me a hassle referring a few friends by not crediting me with or not allowing my friends to sign up when using my referral link. Its been over a week, and still no news on my cash, and they 'refuse' to answer a single one of my support tickets. This site is a scam, and i have reported it to the IC3 (www.IC3.gov) as should you all, these complaints to to the FBI and other investigation company's.

So I requested a new password but was told my account had been closed for inactivity! Of course I was inactive! They had no surveys to be active!! Comments: I was on this site. After about a week it would no longer let me log in citing that my password was incorrect. I sent for a new password to no avail. I did receive a "comment" back at one point however, it told me that my "complaint had been resolved". I tried for about a month to resolve this. I was almost at payout and then found this site and noticed that a lot of others were having similar problems. This site is a scam so that someone can keep our money and one day the IRS will find out and they will be in a lot of trouble.

Comments: You will never ever get paid by this site! Before my account was shut down I was almost at payout with my referrals and then each day they would reduce my referrals by about four or more! It was so frustrating to keep getting all these referrals and not get credit for them! I e-mailed the owner of the site over and over and got no response. What a jerk! Finally my account was deleted! This site has been reported many times to different authorities and I don't understand why he is still perpetuating this fraud. You will never get offered any more surveys other than the ones you just completed. People have said their accounts were terminated because THEY were doing something fraudulent.

Comments: This program really is a scam. I am so sorry that I ever joined up with them. I was paid by them twice last year, and at the end of the year, I was due a payment from them. Not only did they not pay, but claimed that I should not always be able to have enough referrals to cash out every month! If they don't want people to get referrals (which I saw was the only way you could make real money with them)then why didn't have more surveys available? On January 12, I contacted the BBB about them. I received two letters, one which said that the company refused to respond to the letters the BBB sent to them. I received another letter from the BBB today, saying that AW Surveys had moved from where they were located, and left no forwarding address! I am so angry I don't know what to do. I don't like the idea of "companies" cheating me out of my hard earned money. They still have their website up baiting people into their scam. Something has to be done to put AW Surveys out of business once and for all.

They paid me $50 twice last year, then when I requested my third payment of $50, they deleted all of my referrals and had the nerve to say that I had cheated! (Which is a lie!) The BBB say they have been having problems with this company for a long, long time, and they could not do anything about it. I intend to contact the FTC, and maybe they could put this company out of business!

Comments: A 100% scam. All they do is offer a few surveys to get you $28 and then you're expected to refer users to gain the rest of the cash required for payout. But 99% of the time, they deny your request for some random reason. It seems to change for every user. I reccommend adding http://www.awsurveyscam.com as an advertisement to get users to sign the petition to take A.W. Surveys to court and get them offline and in jail. [Update 2008-04-06:] Complete scam, has never actually paid anyone. You collect enough for payout and then they mark your account under review. They never even add more surveys so you have to earn money by referring.

Comments: Initially the site closed down, supposedly to "update servers". All accounts were deleted and earnings lost, which was made evident when the site eventually reopened. I had to sign back up for another account and through doing surveys and referrals I built my earnings up to 68 dollars which is very close to the 75 dollar payout, and guess what... I just tried to sign in and couldn't. And when using the "can't remember password" feature where you put your email in and they mail it to you, it told me that my email doesn't exist in the database. If A.W. Surveys isn't a scam site then I'd sure as Hell like to know what is.
