2-Opt is a paid e-mail site offering five cents per e-mail read, plus entry into monthly sweepstakes for prizes. 2-Opt also offer a referral bonus scheme, and targetted ads. The site has been online for a number of years now, and as the complaints below detail, has defrauded many users through their failure to pay as promised.
Many of our complainants have been waiting for payments for over a year, despite 2-Opt's claim to mail checks within ten days of meeting their minimum payment amount. 2-Opt have also failed to respond to a number of e-mails sent by our visitors. One of the fundamental aims of GPTBoycott is to warn our visitors about non-paying sites, and so 2-Opt is now boycotted.
For the reasons above, and the complaints listed below, 2-Opt has been boycotted!
Name: Debi Date: August 5, 2002 Comments: I have tried to access my account to request again a pay out. Site has disappeared, all e-mail comes back unknown, undeliverable. They were still advertised on several pay to read sites last week. All links are broken.
Name: Frances (astrangemix) Date: August 23, 2004 Comments: Requested payout 11/21/2003. Have a screenshot of confirmation which states cheque will be mailed within 7 days. Emailed Feb 4th and again July 20th about my payout. Received replies both times with no solution offered. Have all relevant documentation in the form of emails/screenshots. As of todays date, Aug 23/04, they owe me a total of $18.00

Name: TJ Harrell Date: May 19, 2004 Comments: This program owes me $10.25 . I redeemed Dec 30th 2003 . Their TOS say they can take upto 90 . My payment is well past due . I waited another30 after the 90 and then sent them an e-mail demand for payment . I have recieved no reply .
I have a copy of the email I sent and a screen shot of my account , w/ the redemption date and due amount .

I sent them an email to ask about where my payment was, but I still have not even heard from them. It looks like I lost $13.70 which would have helped me out with food and all that.

They owe me $10.15 from a year ago last November and more recently $11.75. I have yet to see either one. I send them e-mails and they keep promising me payment is on the way, but I have a hard time believeing it.

Name: Robin Cantor Date: March 17, 2006 Comments: I have been waiting for payment since November of 2005 (way over 120 days)--I have written emails with no word from them so I mailed a certified letter to the address they had on their website and lo and behold I found out Addressee UNKNOWN. So these people NEVER planned to pay NONE of their members and keep everyone's earnings to themselves--STAY AWAY from this program--whomever is running this site is getting fat off of their members

Can U believe they still send numerous emails expecting us to click the links and make them money. I just delete them but con't want to cancel membership in hopes that maybe it will get a new and HONEST owner. Ha Ha

Name: Fred Crookes Date: March 31, 2008 Comments: Not only have they never paid me the 2 cheques they claim to have sent, and ignored my e-mails, but some time back they deleted my account so I couldn't even use the payout information. Of course I had kept all the details on file. Every so often I sent them really nasty, disgusting, filthy e-mails in an effort to spur a reply.

i have sent them a payment's request . The note reffered :

In fact until today (1 May 2008) i have received ABSOLUTELY NOTHING . They didn't pay me, didn't answer to me and didn't send to me any emails by very long time . Now i discover that pratically they disappeared .
