Article: Minimize Your Risk - MORE Things You Should Know

How many GPT programs are you registered with now? How long have you joined them? Did you notice that some of them were not as active as they had used to be? They didn’t flood your mailbox with tons of emails anymore, or there were way less ads to click...

Internet based home business is no different from any other businesses. You will have to control where you invest your money and time, and keep track of their development and activity. Most of the Get Paid To programs experience their hard times every year. There were times when they had a problem at their back-end server, hackers attacked, problems with the database, sometimes even the program’s owners couldn’t stand to not having themselves running away with their member’s investment. At this point, you need to once again make a decision as you did the first time when choosing to join the program. Only this time, it’ll be whether to go on with the risks taken, or saving your risk and abandon the program.

Nothing lasts forever, let alone a bunch of scripts encoded by humans. To help you find out when to start closely monitoring a program, here are some indications you can pay attention to:

  • Like the question above, fewer emails for you to be read, or not as much ads to be clicked. This can indicate a decrease in advertising by its members. Less advertisers means less revenue, means less money to pay you. And if you’re not getting paid, better if you focus on something else.
  • There’s a good idea to also notice a change in their advertising cost. When they’re running low on advertisers, one of the things usually done is making the advertising price more interesting (read:cheaper) for advertisers. Therefore, a drop off in their cost can be a sign that they’re lacking in advertisers.
  • Problems at the back-end like script errors, database is missing or hacked. Some of these are not due to admin’s error. But if they cannot solve the problem and make everything goes back to normal, or at least do something for the sake of the members, you’ll want to consider leaving the program.
  • A change in their TOS, especially the payment section. Some won’t even bother altering their TOS. They just don’t pay as it is written.

Problems above sometimes are force majeure, but the solutions aren’t. Even if they are caused externally, the owners or admins still have the responsibility to their members. I hope these extra tips will be useful for you in running your internet based home business, as well as making safe and good investment of your time and money.
